We had a great time in Michigan! This home has a great spacious back yard with fireplace, gas grill and patio with table. Pets are allowed so Oliver had plenty of room to run. Inside had plenty of rooms, space and equipped with many amenities. Location was close to our son who now lives in Michigan. 4th of July was filled with plenty of beautiful firework displays from the neighborsđź’•

Overall, this was a nice property. The kitchen was nice and there was a lot of room and the beds were comfy. The TV is great. It's huge and HD. The trash (in bins outside) hadn't been emptied from the people who stayed before us, so there wasn't really anywhere to put our trash. The prior guests also left two bags of dog doo on the back porch, which I threw away myself. The hosts said they would come take care of the outside trash issue, but forgot. They called me the next day to apologize, and they said they'd come that night to deal with the excess trash and they didn't. Other than that small hiccup I had a nice stay here. It was a perfect location for what we needed it for.

We had a low key bachelorette party where we all needed a place to stay. The house was thoughtfully laid out making it very easy to house 7 women overnight. Ample space and the firepit was great. It was very clear that the owners take pride in their property. Very clean. All the amenities that we needed to be comfortable.
Only negative was that the back door lock was not working very well. It took quite awhile to get it to lock but we made the owners aware and have no doubt it will be remedied for the next visitor.

Small hiccup with the door code to get in, but they more than made up for it by bringing our bachelor party group some cold beers. House actually exceeded our expectations. Zero complaints

A very nice, clean nightly resting home for our reunion at my Sister’s home 10 minutes away. Lots of convenient sleeping places. We didn’t use the spacious backyard except for a late night sit under the stars. Thanks!

The stay worked out very well for a family get-together. There was plenty of room & seating in the well-kept yard for a cookout and games.

Very clean and exactly how it looked in the pictures. Beautiful house, big backyard and awesome basement. We definitely enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed the house very much. It was big enough that all 14 of us were able to stay. It also had everything we need—pots to cook, grill, fire pit. My only complaint was that in the listing it does not tell you that the basement beds are air mattresses, but we made it work. It’s also very close to stores, and was only a 20 minute ride to the zoo.

Comfortable to sleep 5 adults in 3 bedrooms upstairs, and one 3 year old in the pack and play in the office. Other family members lived close by and were able to drive 15 minutes each day to visit. The kitchen appliances worked well, love the gas range, and was equipped well enough to host Thanksgiving meal prep for 10 of us. I brought my roasting pan, and other dollar store aluminum pans and storage containers for left overs. We had 3 small dogs who loved the completely fenced in grassy back yard. Clean up after them was easy, and the firepit provided a lovely evening of chat and warmth. The beds are soft, plenty of sheets and towels, we leveled the downstairs pool table and a neighbor gave away two nicer pool sticks we contributed to the home. Pool games amongst the brothers were lively-didn't know we had some sharks in the family. The house is nicely staged with decorations, a large family room TV provided our traditional viewing of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. We brought our own iTunes and speaker for music. The house is located walking distance to Target, close to Kroger and Costco. All in all Shiawassee and her owners Autumn and Andy contributed to the most relaxed and enjoyable family event we've had in years. We'll be back, highly recommend.

Loved it! It was perfect for what we needed, which was a night away to celebrate our friends birthday and go to the Lions game the following day (25 min drive to Ford Field). There were 6 of us, one couple and 4 singles (who ditched their spouses for a night) and there was enough beds for all of us. The table sat 6 so we were able to play cards and converse nicely.
The pool table in the basement was fun. Short ceilings down there and the pool table did move if bumped, and the balls did fall out of two of the pockets at times but we aren't picky and were just glad it was there to be used. The big screens were nice to have college football on in the background.
There’s a gas station across the road if you go out the back gate, I forgot my toothbrush and it was easy to just walk across the street and buy one.
The wind died down so we were able to use the firepit. Couldn’t get the solar lights to work and one of the chairs, the arm was broken so just had to be careful not to lean on that.
The house was clean, bathrooms were cute and functional, and beds were comfortable. Would recommend and stay again if we are ever in the area again.

Honest Review
The Pros- The property was nice, clean and looked exactly how it is listed. Everything was modern and updated and the basement was great for entertaining.
The Cons- A week and half after checking out of the property the host contacted me about smoking on the premises and was trying to charge me a $1000 fee. For one me nor do any of my guest smoke. She went on to tell me that a cigar had been found in the garbage. My first concern was the privacy issue of our garbage being gone through after leaving the property. Next, I explained to her that My production crew was at the property on business (which I informed her of prior to checking in and received permission to do so) and that the cigar was being used as a prop for a scene we were rehearsing. I told her if she checked the end of the cigar she would see it was never actually lit. She then went on to say a window had been left opened. Mindful this was early October where the temperature was 70 unseasonably warm and 8 guest were in the home. The window was open because the house was warm. The host became very rude and hostile after I pointed these facts out demanding the $1000 fee. A fee I would never agree to pay when me and my guest did nothing wrong. I reminded her that I had took pictures and sent them to her while checking out of every room of the property showing we had cleaned, removed all of the garbage from the home and left the property in very good condition. This is something I always do now when staying at any rented locations for instances such as this to protect myself and my company. When asked why it took her over a week to contact me about the issue she stated she had to talk things over with her husband . I have not heard anything else further from the host nor was my card ever charged a fee. Again the home is beautiful but I was extremely disappointed in the host false accusations and behavior.

Great property!
Autumn and Andrew were fantastic hosts. The property is very nice, clean, well decorated. Feels like home! All the spaces are open and cozy. The backyard is what sets this place apart from the others. The fire pit is perfect for having fires and roasting s'mores. Andrew and Autumn were helpful and easy to reach throughout our stay. They had a variety of things available to us (refreshments, fruit, s'mores fixins, etc). It was the perfect place for what we wanted!

Nice property
The house had three comfortable bedrooms and plenty of amenities like many tv’s, a nice backyard, a small pool table in the basement, etc. The only detractor was that the sofa in the living room needs to be cleaned. All else was great.
