About this house rental
Beautiful mountain home features 5 bedrooms plus a sleeping loft for teens and tweens! Calling all skiers! Dew Review is a true ski in/ski out home on Timberline Mountain's Lower Dew Drop Trail. Even less experienced skiers will feel confident on this designated blue trail. When it is time to slow down it’s easy to separate from the teens and tweens. In every season Dew Revue features a bonus room with an extra-large TV plus a foosball table. A well-equipped kitchen is the answer to getting the gang back together for friendly gatherings and memorable meals. Sleeping spaces are large and lovely! Please take the virtual tour. We've stayed in several slope side homes over the past few years - this was by far our best experience. The house is well maintained and equipped. Best of Canaan is a joy to work with and absolutely superior to other local rental companies. In my experience, Best of Canaan allows for a 3PM check-in (others are 4PM). Best of Canaan rentals provide firewood (others make you purchase overpriced & wet wood). Best of Canaan removes trash for you (others make you dispose of trash yourself). Great house, great experience. Dew it!

great place to stay all year around, prompt support when required by mgmt team, some items need to be fixed for the next visitors : spa was not there, removed long time ago and not replaced, fireplace need to be fixed, showers with water pressure issues, grill need to be fixed... other than that very nice house with kitchen space holds big group.

This house was perfect for our group of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). It is well furnished, well kept, and in a great location, close to Blackwater Falls, Dolly Sods, Canaan Valley Resort State Park, and Seneca Rocks. We loved it!

Every year my family converges on Canaan Valley for a reunion. I picked this house for it's ratio of beds to baths. Upon arrival we found that the house was air conditioned. There was no mold smell--something we have encountered many times in the past. In fact we all agreed that this house was the winner of the annual "house competition" and will try to book it for next year's reunion.

The place was PERFECT for our family ! The mountain view was the most beautiful setting and there are so many outdoor activities. The home is beautiful and there was plenty of space for our entire family. I plan to book this same rental again !! Rental agency was great! They text to let us know the house was ready a little early. Called for trash pickup and wood delivery, they were prompt. Perfect slope access! Love this house but we are really missing not having a hot tub!

Great house! Our group of six really enjoyed our time at Dew Revue, and will be returning next year. So easy to simply hop on Lower Dew Drop and ski down to the lifts, it doesn't get any better than that. Only wish there was a hot tub, that would make it even more complete. Until next year!

We love this place. Ski in, ski out off the deck, kitchen greatly equipped. Ample room for kids to play and watch skiers go by the window. Does need all the toilets “flappers” changed and toilets adjusted. I am sure the water bill shows the results of toilets running.

The house was great,very clean. I love the fact that we had plenty of towels. The children had a lot of room to play. The kitchen was great and plenty of room for everyone to sit together to eat. The weather was wonderful in August no less. The beds were very comfortable. We loved the Jacuzzi bathtub. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Would love to come back again.

My family has been vacationing in Canaan for more than 30 years and this house was the nicest so far!! Lots of space and a huge deck to enjoy the beautiful weather. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to cook and enjoy our time here. The house was clean and comfortable. The only things that were not convenient was the stairs into the house with my elderly mother and a hot tub would be nice. But like I said in the opening line.... Best house yet.

We had a great time here. One thing we didn't realize before arriving is that the place does not have AC; however, that ended up not being too big a deal since the Summer is so mild here.

Spent 4 days in this beautiful home with all 12 of our family! Super easy ski in and out. House was very clean and lots of towels provided. We did miss not having a hot tub but still really enjoyed staying at Dew Revue! Already booked for next year!

We enjoyed a mini family vacation at Dew Revue, so close slopeside you could literally ski onto the side deck! The house was well equipped and suited our needs and comforts. We did not leave the house for any other reason than to ski. Only downside was the jacuzzi in the master bedroom did not work. (Would have been nice for these old bones!) Everyone was very nice and helpful. We would definitely go back.

There were some pros and cons. The main floor was nicely updated and we loved that the table seated 10. The fireplaces with wood provided were a nice touch. The location was very pretty in the Fall although a bit remote. However, the basement, which had 3 of the 5 bedrooms, smelled badly of mold. It bothered our friend's asthma, and we had to leave the windows open all day to try to air it out before sleeping with it at night. The security alarm was broken and started beeping every night in the middle of the night at two different times. Both times my husband had to get up to disarm it. We were told after that the owners were aware but couldn't get anyone to fix it, yet there was no warning or details of how to disarm provided, we had to call to get help. Also we were told on the app to check in at one location, and then told that we were at the wrong location and to go down the road to check in. This information should have been updated on the app. Finally, we had to load all of our trash from the weekend into our already-full cars when checking out and drive it 3 miles to a dumpster or be charged a $25 fine. I have never had to do this for a rental, and there should have just been a trash bin provided on the property.
