We enjoyed our stay. Close enough to walk into Deadwood.

Everything seemed as outlined in the listing and the communication with the host was easy and quick! Would for sure stay here again!

Only positive part of our stay was that The rental was clean. Roku TV did not work. When we went to the kitchen, we noticed there was water coming from the refrigerator running across the floor For which it leaked the whole time during our stay,. Went to use the bathroom and the toilet was broke. We had to reach into the tank and flush the toilet Every time we used it for the whole stay. The driveway was not completely scooped out so cars couldn’t be parked correctly in the parking area. In the evening we noticed there was no heat coming Of the floor vents in the bedrooms and they were open. a message was sent to the host the first day about all the issues but no reply. The next day another message was sent to the host, and yet we had no reply.
There was a cold spell so we did have the water dripping in the kitchen, but the pipes still froze in the bathroom. So we had to haul pitchers of water from the kitchen to the bathroom so we could flush the toilet and haul hot water to the tub to take a bath . The host was informed about the pipes , but still no reply.
Evolve reviewed our complaint we got 20% back from what we paid but We asked for half back due to everything that went wrong at the rental, and because of no response from the host.
If the host had responded and took care of most of these issues, this review would’ve been a lot better.

We love staying here as it is our second time! So comfortable, especially the memory foam mattress'! Convenient to walk everywhere in town.

Stayed here for a sister trip and had a wonderful time. Cutely decorated place! Really comfortable. Beds are awesome if you like memory foam.
Host was responsive. Easy access via code to get in.
We had some trouble with the TV and Roku (didnt work all the time). Also, you should probably give 4 adults more than 2 rolls of toiletpaper for a 3-night stay. Maybe some extra batteries for the remote, and some ice in the freezer would be nice. Parking is pretty tough too. The spots are so small only a smart car would actually fit between the lines, FYI.
Overall, we had a great time, but a couple extra necessities would have made it much better.

The house was exactly as described and very well located. Would stay again!

We went to the Forks, Corks, and Kegs event and this property was great. We were able to walk to the event or we could catch the trolley that stopped right on the corner. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

Good "home base" for exploring the area and day trips.

The decor and layout of the property is really cool. They took a lot of time to decorate this unit in a mid-century layout. Well done. I would suggest that they don't skimp on some of the amenities like Kleenex, soap, paper towels, throw a few bottles of water in the fridge. The nest thermostat was annoying to operate. The fridge is an issue. It's fairly noisy and the ice maker doesn't work, and the ice trays were empty. It's a cool property but with a few minor tweaks the experience will be even better.

Great place to stay a little ways from downtown. We walked there and back several times, but it was nice having a trolley stop right on the corner. We stayed during Forks, Corks, and Kegs and it had everything we needed plus it was quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

This unit has been set up in retro style. Very clean and nice. Short walk to historic downtown Deadwood and a Trolley Stop at your doorstep. Good location for South Dakota sights. Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Badlands, Black Hills all within a pretty short drive.

We enjoyed our stay. Cute decorations and great air conditioning system. Good location.

Not completely as advertised
This is advertised as a “home” which to me implied a single home. It is a 3-plex with a tenant in the basement with a dog that barks at night. The picture of the front of the house hides the other sides stairs behind the tree. I sent a message about 5 weeks prior to my stay about parking with no response and then had an issue when I arrived. The large burners on the stove do not work so all cooking is done with small pans. As another reviewer said the furniture is very uncomfortable, we just wanted to relax after a day on the trails. This is a very clean property and is probably just right for someone else, but with more information I would have kept looking for something else.

Cute Place, Great location
The place was perfect for us and another couple. The location was ideal and we had plenty of accommodations. We hit a few snags when we first got there but the manager was extremely responsive and helped get us through any issues.

Great place to stay in Deadwood!
We didn't get into town until very late, but luckily the owners had great communication and made the check in process really smooth. There's a trolly stop right next to the place which was perfect for getting around town without taking cars. Also, its only about a 10-15 minute walk to the mains street area if you don't want to wait for trolleys. We'd definitely stay here again!
