The Lemon Tree House is perfectly situated between the Exuma International Airport and Great Exuma’s capital city of Georgetown. You will catch glimpses of the legendary turquoise waters of Exuma as you make the short drive to the villa. Pull in through the landscaped private drive, enter the villa and melt into vacation mode as you gaze upon the blue waters through the Great Room’s wall of glass panel doors and windows.
The villa was designed for entertaining, inside and out. The open concept Great Room features 32’ vaulted ceilings with whitewashed rafters and two generous seating areas offering plenty of room to accommodate a family movie on the 65” LED TV, family games night, or a dance party with the SONOS sound system delivering the soundtrack from the in-ceiling speaker system. The chef – whether that is you or a private chef hired to cook for your group - will be part of the action, with the gourmet kitchen alongside the sitting areas and indoor dining table to provide easy and seamless flow. Step outside the Great Room and you are up close and personal with the star of the show – the legendary turquoise waters of Exuma. Recline in a sun lounger or day bed, splash in the heated infinity pool or pull up a stool at the BBQ bar as you soak in the panoramic ocean views. The ocean is just a few steps down from the patio – the white sand is perfect for swimming or a paddle, or perhaps an evening stroll to take in the shimmering stars of the carribean night sky.

Beautiful 5 bedroom property with exceptional beach and water access. The property is as it is represented or better. Great house for large families. Fully stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and for serving ten or more. Some limited maintenance issues including outside fans, lighting, and sound system not working; Direct TV outages; and battery failure in the front door lock. Chefs are available to prepare meals for your group and our experience with two during 3 nights was excellent. However, understand the local restaurants can be some distance and our experience on the nights we went to highly recommended restaurants was disappointing both with respect to the food and their failure to address insect and heat problems. Also, grocery items and supplies are expensive, limited and road conditions are challenging. Overall, a great house located on an exceptional beach.

We had an amazing week at the Lemon Tree House. It is setup perfectly for 3 families with kids. The house is well stocked. Rebecca the owner and Cecil the concierge are very responsive and helpful. The pool and private beach area are perfection. Chef Tevin and his crew were amazing as well. We will be back!!!

Our recent stay at Lemon Tree House was nothing short of paradise for a week. The house, pool deck and beach were the perfect setup for an extended family vacation. We would not hesitate to book again.
We used a local chef for 2 luncheons. Chef Vandera is the real deal. Her prep, food and service were NYC level.

Everything went better than planned. The house is amazing, the view, the view, the view....you won't get bored. The pool and beach are great. Rebecca and Cecil were always available to give me suggestions and answer questions.
I hired Mike as our chef for 4 nights and the food and service were outstanding.
That area has the best beach.

Our stay at this beautiful beach house was absolutely perfect. The size was perfect for our 4 couples, and we had plenty of spaces to be together. It was even better than we anticipated. The service and communication from the owners and the property manager was fantastic. I would highly recommend this house!

Absolutely everything about this place was perfect…to include location and amenities. It’s beautiful. Believe me, you won’t regret it. They thought of everything to make you at home. Cecil, the caretaker was very friendly and accommodating. Rebecca, the owner was always responsive to every question and so pleasant to deal with. I will definitely return to this oasis…we lived it. We had the best time on this little piece of paradise.

We stayed at Lemon Tree for a week in early March 2024. It perfectly fit our extended family of three adult couples and six kids. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and very clean. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into the details of the home and were excellent with communication and answering questions as we were preparing for the trip.
The house is very close to the airport, but not so close that the planes bother you. We were able to fly from Charlotte, NC directly to Georgetown, and customs was quick and easy.
Cecil was a responsive and friendly on-site host who met us when we arrived, showed us around the house, and restocked the house with supplies within an hour of being asked. We enjoyed every moment with him.
We were delighted to have Chef Tevin and Sharell cook for us two evenings. Our only regret is not having them cook for us more often.
We took a half-day boat tour with Robert’s Island tours, and it was a highlight for everyone, especially the kids.
Bugs were not an issue for us during the day, as we had a light wind all week.
We are glad that we followed the owners’ advice and brought a cooler of frozen meat and the food that our group is particular about. We also used the prestocking grocery service through Cecil since the availability and pricing of food and supplies in the local grocery stores is not what we are used to in the United States.

We just returned from this stunning house. This house has absolutely everything you need for your stay. The pictures are a true reflection of what the house truly looks like. We had 11 people in our party and we had plenty of space. Rebecca was wonderful to work with and her guild was very helpful and very much appreciated. The views are spectacular you definitely won’t regret renting this house for your next vacation.

We had an amazing time. We have a few suggestions: an operating manual with instructions on how to have the TV sound come through the Sonos Speaker system and Streaming services without reprogramming the Fire TV stick; have baking soda and apple cider vinegar in the house for first aid on sand fleas bites.

Our group of 5 couples absolutely loved our stay at the Lemon Tree House. I hesitate to hype it up too much because I always want it to be available for when I come back! The house is incredibly close to the airport, which is a game changer in Exuma. Tar Bay beach is beautiful and the view at the house is spectacular. The pool was warm and heated. Cecil was responsive, friendly and always helpful when we had a question. Each bedroom was comfortable and perfectly appointed. We loved that we had 10 seats at the dinner table and plenty of seating indoors at night for us to play games and be comfortable. We also loved the pool area. Tons of outdoor seating in the sun and plenty in the shade! We swam and played corn hole and floated in the ocean. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you, Rebecca, for making our arrival and stay so easy and wonderful.

This trip was a Christmas present to our family.
There was plenty of room and activities for everyone.
King size beds were all super comfy and having private bathrooms for each bedroom was definitely a plus. There was also a kids room with queen and twin bunks, games, videos, TV, and private bath. There is ample privacy between all of the bedrooms.
The Kitchen is a well stocked chef’s kitchen.
One of the best parts is the view of the water, the beautiful infinity edge pool and the cleanliness of everything inside and outside of the home. If you want, peace and quiet and lots of nap time, that is available too! Anything you want is convenient, including shopping. This was by far one of our best experiences and our family is truly grateful for our stay…

This home is more beautiful than the pics describe. Everything we needed was provided. We spent Thanksgiving here with our family and it was spacious enough for everybody. We have stayed at a couple other properties in Exuma and this one is by far the best. Minimal no see ums (there is a patio fan), direct access to a walkalbe beach and privacy without being far from the airport.

Describing this property and the owner, Rebecca, requires much more than I can write in this review. It was an amazing experience. Everything was better than imagined. Throughout the booking Rebecca was very responsive. The guidebook she provided had all the info you could want very easily at your fingertips. The house was incredible. The location was amazing. Our experience at the Lemon Tree House is hard to put into words. From the beautiful views, the exquisitely appointed home, the incredible support and guidance we received from Rebecca leading up to the trip and Cecil and Vanessa while on the island - this trip provided memories that will last us a lifetime!
It was absolutely perfect for the 5 couples who traveled together. The ocean views are even more beautiful than the pictures! The home is beautifully decorated and updated. Locals told us many times that this house is the best on the island! Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom - all very private and lovely. The house comes with a ton of activities including paddle boards, kayaks, snorkel gear etc. There was no shortage of things to occupy us! All we really needed was that amazing infinity pool and the sunshine!
None of us had been to the Exumas before and I had a lot of questions for Rebecca leading up to the trip. Not only did she respond within minutes, she responded in detail and provided thoughtful recommendations. She went above and beyond to help make our trip the best possible. I felt like we became friends by the time the trip actually came! I cannot say enough about her as a host. She’s wonderful.
While on the island Cecil and Vanessa are available to help with whatever we needed from supplying necessities and ensuring we were able to order and receive dinner.
Don’t hesitate to book this house as it’s truly a special place. We can’t wait to return!

This property is breathtaking. Perfect layout and design for families or couples traveling together. My family of seven adults took our annual trip together here and we all had an amazing time relaxing in Exuma! The house was super clean and had everything by we needed while we were there.
Cecile was super responsive, Rebecca was also easy and fast to communicate with.

This was our second trip to Exuma. We stayed in Little Exuma last year on Tropic of Cancer Beach. We enjoyed this location on Tar Bay better due to it's proximity to the airport and town for groceries as well as restaurants. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean and filled with all the kitchen appliances/tools you might need. We would absolutely rent the LemonTree House again!

We just returned home from our stay at Lemon Tree House (arrival july 3rd) and there really aren’t enough things to say about this house. Prior to arrival I would look on Vrbo for new reviews so that I could learn a bit more about the house, but now that we have experienced it, there is no need to learn about anything- just go and enjoy.
For those of you that have booked, don’t worry the house is incredible. The location, layout, and style cannot be beat.
For those of you that haven’t booked yet. I can’t honestly think of anything negative about this house.
The house had everything that we could need. The hostess Rebecca always quickly answered any questions and Cecil the property manager was quick when any question that came up.
Exuma itself is amazing, but staying at Lemon Tree really added to the experience

Our family of 14, ages 5-75, had a fantastic time at this property. The house was absolutely perfect with a comfortable layout and room for everyone to spread out. Attention to detail included a well-stocked kitchen, lots of extra beach towels, and many different games and activities for all. The BBQ area was a plus as was the huge covered terrace with plenty of seating for dining and relaxing long into the evenings. We plan to return again for another perfect vacation!

Where can I start. The house was so beautiful, spacious, and clean. The owner was so nice and accommodating to us. Cecil the concierge was very knowledgeable and nice. The beach is perfect and only shared with a few houses. Location is great. Pool was perfect for the kids and adults alike. Well equipped with pool toys, floats, kayaks and SUPs, masks, snorkels and Finn’s. Seriously one of the best vacations we’ve had. if you’re on the fence about this place, don’t be. You won’t be disappointed.

This was our first stay in Exuma and we will definitely be back ( in fact , we already booked for next year). We loved the house, the beach, the view, the water color. We didn't want to leave. Cecil was great and appreciated him answering all our questions about the house and the island. We made most of our breakfasts and dinners in house which turned out wonderful for our group of 8. Just got home from a fantastic week in Exuma. Lemon Tree was everything we had hoped for and more. We absolutely loved the location, Tar Bay is our favorite beach to stay. The house is stunning and has all the amenities you could wish for. The beds were very comfortable and we are already missing our morning coffee on the deck. Rebecca and Cecil were great to deal with and we hope to come back to soon!!

The house itself and its location are both excellent, though that should come as no surprise given the photos represent it well. Likewise it is well stocked and well cared for. Most importantly, however, the service was excellent. Rebecca was very accommodating with a potential schedule conflict we had and Cecil was always available locally. Finally, make sure you book Tevin and Sharelle for at least a meal or two - their food and their company was excellent. Our week was a five star experience all around. Not sure we could have asked for anything more.
