We had a great time staying in this spacious home. It was very clean and had everything we needed.

This house was fairly nice. Good location. Parking was kind of weird. Kitchen wasn't as equipped as I would have liked. Beds were comfortable... Had a little issue with the hot water but it was fixed quickly. Had a little issue with the washing machine but that could have been operator error... We arrived in the dark and there were no lights on so it was a bit of a challenge... Check out was very early... Overall it was nice enough.

The house was spotless. It was adequately furnished, and beds were comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms were fine.
There were no ceiling light fixtures in bedrooms or over dining table. No light fixtures could be operated from the doorway in the upstairs bedroom or basement laundry room, an NEC code violation. AC was via 3 window units which cooled adequately but were noisy. Laundry room was lit by a single bare overhead bulb. It needs more light in an enclosed fixture. Clothes dryer filter screen was torn.
While the house was clean, it would really benefit by adding a rug at front entry, an area rug in the center of the living room, and a runner in the kitchen to absorb water drops when using the sink. The two small baths would benefit from small throw rugs. Without any rugs on the first floor the house does not seem "homey". Better lighting near the washer, a card table to fold clothes, and a small trash can nearby would be helpful.

Wonderful accommodations.

The home was drivable to many things. It was tucked in a well-appointed neighborhood, and quiet. It allowed us to find ice cream, beaches, and make plenty of day trips to the various cape towns. Brewster was charming and we enjoyed our stay.

Beds were not comfortable air conditioning were too loud too loud to sleep
Not enough lighting in main room

The place was clean and in relatively good shape. One of the bedrooms is actually an open space upstairs with no privacy. We could not use the family room in the basement because of the moldy smell. We had to buy everything for the kitchen because even salt was not provided. We could not take showers in the bathrooms upstairs and downstairs at the same time as the upstairs shower would be cold.
Overall an average but pricey experience

We have rented houses in a similar price point over the past years and this is by far on the lowest end. House was clean and functional but definitely would not rent it again.
There were 2 main issues that honestly were quite disappointing:
- First, we basically couldn’t t use the back nor the front yard. Backyard was in very bad shape / condition. Clearly not taken care for a while, but the main issue was that there was a lot of poison ivy so my kids were not able to play there. We then tried to use the front yard just to discover that there was a massive wasp colony in a big bush in the entrance. We reported these issues on Monday and the poison ivy was only taken care on Thursday and we never saw anyone taking care of the wasp issue. Also note that the deck is in poor condition, lose boards and rusty nails all over. One of the property management staff members came and attested to it, he fixed a few boards but really didn’t improve a lot the overall condition.
- Second, we rented the house given that it was close to a pond and there were 2 pictures depicting it. One of them with a very nice beach. We discovered after driving around and reaching out to management that only one of the pictures was from another pond and the only beach in the near pond was a private property. While I understand, postings usually include nearby locations, I think this one was very misleading as this was not referenced properly.

The property was basically good for our family vacation. However, it was billed as a 3 bedroom - there wasn't a real 3rd bedroom, as it was totally open to the downstairs space.
There were multiple things that went wrong and someone had to come out to fix things 3-4 times! The unit ran out of heating oil, the electricity went out a few times, and the kitchen was overrun with ants.
They did come promptly each time, but this did cause some annoyance for sure.

Hello. We stayed one week over summer vacation with kids. The property did not meet our expectations. The biggest issue was the wrap around deck that needs to be fixed as several boards were sticking out and were a tripping hazard. The umbrella on the deck was broken upon our arrival and there were issues with the grill. The property manager got the new grill one day before our departure. The kitchen lacked pots and pans and other supplies. The cleanliness of the property was questionable and we requested it to be cleaned again. The game room that the kids were mostly excited about smelled musty and there were spider webs everywhere. There were ants in the living room. The house is very close to a neighbor. Overall disappointed.

Like the floor plan. It isn't advertised as central A/C but in retrospect our family would look for that going forward. The yard isn't in great condition, and the screen doors have minor issues. There are a lot of bugs in the area and there were issues with people getting bitten a fair amount in the house. The shower upstairs has issues getting to hot water/pressure. To some extent this is what you get with a cottage in the cape

Very nice, very quiet. Management was very quick to fix issues Which weren’t bad. Only issues we had was no internet the whole time and no tvs in bedroom. Besides that that, the property was perfect for our little getaway

Thank you for having the best fully equipped private, clean and quiet property centrally located in The Cape! Loved checking out my old haunts and having some of the best seafood around - even in the off-season! We all had our own separate sleeping areas which was a plus with me as big snorer - ha! Can't go wrong with this Del Mar property! Enjoy!!!

Airy and spacious with woodsy front and back yards and porches. Two lovely bedrooms and one loft space for other sleepers. Nice bathrooms, large kitchen, perfect living room. Everything clean and in working order. We lucked out! Would love to go back.

This was our first time to Cape Cod. We had a great time. House was good location to do things in Brewster, Orleans, Chatham and Dennis. We enjoyed a whale watching out of Barnstable with the Hyannis group, saw so many whales and a huge school of dolphins. We enjoyed the Harbor Lights mini golf course in Brewster and a White Caps game. We loved Paines Creek Beach (shallow inlet swimming), Crosby Beach (safe ocean swimming in front of sand bar and great walking and exploring in middle of the ocean when tide is out) and great swimming and playing off docks at Long Pond Beach. We also enjoyed walking to Slough Pond (so close) for a quick cooling dip. Many good restaurants to try. We enjoyed casual roadside dining at JT’s and Kate’s in Brewster and the Knack in Orleans. More formal, but still casual, dining at the Brewster Fish House, the Brewster Chowder House and Viera on Main Street in Chatham. The house suited our needs fine. We were not in it much. It is not fancy and kitchen is not overly stocked for cooking, but it was clean and had most everything we needed. Having flown from Atlanta, we really appreciated the linens and towels. It had enough window ac units that it felt like central air in the whole house during the “heat wave.”

Our expereince with Del Mar was very positive. The process from beginning to end was professional.
The house was perfect for our needs.
