About this house rental
Summary:
Stunning contemporary holiday house located just a short stroll from the beach.
PLEASE NOTE: A 2% surcharge applies for all credit card transactions. This charge is NON REFUNDABLE. There will be an additional charge (Service Fee) of $80.00 added on top of your total invoice balance due that may not appear within your original invoice.

The Space:
Perfect location, just off the main road . Less than 400m to the tennis courts and park, which is just behind the general store. A small house with a veranda perfect for your morning coffee or a more private setting around the back.
Open the doors to the small dining, kitchen and living area. Basic but has all your needs for a relaxing holiday.
Bedroom one includes a queen bed, while the second bedroom has a tri bunk and a set of single bunks. Sleeping a total of 5 in the second bedroom.
Outdoors has the ideal dining set up for your summer BBQ on the deck, with plenty of space on the grass for the kids to run around.
BYO LINEN:
Bedding is provided but guests must bring their own linen and towels.
STRICTLY NO SCHOOLIES or BUCKS/HENS NIGHTS. We do not cater for parties.
While the property is fully furnished and well equipped, it may not have all appliances and equipment you may be used to using. We apologize if this causes inconvenience.
Guest Access:
You have use of the entire house and yard.
Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys.
The Neighborhood:
Situated approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne and approx. 40 mins to Wilsons Promontory. The property is located close to the Ocean beach for swimming, surfing and fishing. At Sandy Point there is a Surf Lifesaving club which patrols the beach over summer; they also have a bar, occasional meals and events.
Launch a boat from Shallow Inlet for or enjoy kite surfing & jet skiing (not supplied).
The Sandy Point General store is the hub for groceries, bait, boat hire, petrol, gas, alcohol and an Australia Post outlet.
Paradise Point Café is the only Café is town and has snacks, sit down & takeaway meals, a beer garden, live entertainment over summer.
A small Mini golf course is located next to our office on Beach Parade.
Playgrounds & public BBQ areas are located next to the Sandy Point Hall.
Tennis courts are located behind the Sandy Point hall and equipment can be hired from the
General Store.
The Sandy Point Hall hosts art festivals, markets & other events over summer.
If you are staying at Port Welshpool you are very close to the world famous Port Welshpool Long Jetty, and the departure jetty for cruises to Wilson's Prom, as well as Port Albert and other towns.
If you are staying at Fish Creek or Waratah Bay, it's only a short trip to Meeniyan, driving on some of the most picturesque country roads in South Gippsland.
If you are staying in Toora, you are only 20 minutes from Foster, and surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills of South Gippsland.
Getting Around:
Enjoy the convenience of shopping facilities in Foster, just 20 minutes away, with the luxury of being able to return to the peace and tranquility of Sandy Point. The Sandy Point Store provides convenience within walking distance of the house and supplies a selection of food, fishing goods, household items, magazines and a bottle shop.

Other Things to Note:
Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control.
Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.
Please note: There will be a call out charge if we are called out after hours. Eg: Losing Keys.

Our Real Estate office is located at 111 Beach Parade, Sandy Point, should you have any questions or concerns. The office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and we are available by appointment on weekends and public holidays. Should you have an emergency at the property we have emergency contact numbers located in the house so that you’re able to get in touch with us.

The property had everything we needed for a weekend away in Sandy Point. It's close to the beach and well-presented.

Beautiful location. Closer to the beach
Only issue was we were planning a BBQ on Friday. Everything set but got to know gas bottles were empty. Called them but couldn’t organise it at night. So bbq night was not really went well. Request owners to make sure everything is in order for next time for guests.
