Right on the lake. Walk to Saranac for shopping and dinning. Don’t forget some reflective wear for your walk back after dark. Deer all along the way and sidewalks on the main road. Roomy cabin with a first floor bedroom, bathroom, laundry, great fireplace to quickly take the night chill away. There is a grand second floor loft bedroom as well. Gourmet kitchen with all amenities plus. Our host had a beautiful welcome basket for us on arrival. Easy entry. Yes there are steps from the parking lot down to the deck and entry but well lit at night and ez for a couple of 75 year olds. Deck for relaxing and a lake front dock for boating, fishing or relaxing with a good book and a cup of coffee. Jason, our host, was very responsive. Close to everything that is ADK. 5 star plus. Great Labor Day holiday getaway.

We loved our stay at this cozy adirondack camp right on the water. We did alot of kayaking enjoying the view of the beautiful mountains. We loved the upstairs huge king bed and hidden large tv. Everything was supplied except food which was so nice. We agree with others that the stairs down to the camp definitely need work especially a railing. My only other suggestion would be to swap the sink and toilet, a little difficult to get ready stradling the toilet to see in the mirror. We thoroughly
enjoyed our stay here.

Great cottage, fully equiped.
The only thing was the busy road the other side of the lake that makes it noisy until late at night.

Fantastic.

Would love to have better (non-broken) Adirondack chairs and a fire pit like the other cabins.

The cabin was very clean and had all the comforts of home. The location was great and pretty conveniently located in town. We really enjoyed the stay.

My wife and I went with our teen son and his friend for winter break- to see the sites at Lake Placid. This cabin was cozy but just right for the 4 of us.
We loved the fire, the teens loved the cool hidden TV! The welcome basket was lovely and the house was well appointed. It was a nice drive to LP, not too far, and we enjoyed spending the evenings in Saranac Lake.
We had an issue with waking up to frozen pipes, but the property manager was able to come in a few hours and take care of it- communication about the issue was handled promptly.
We enjoyed our stay greatly and would recommend it for a couple or small family.

As always, several times now, I have had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful property in Saranac Lake. The only thing missing this time around was extra toilet paper and there were no Kleenex tissues anywhere to be found. I love the addition of the light above the dining table but it could use a dimmer or a lower wattage bulb.

We found ourselves with not much to do on Thanksgiving this year, so we decided for a peaceful getaway to enjoy some down time and quiet. My son and his fiancé joined us Friday night. The house was super clean, well appointed with nice linens and good beds! The kitchen was well stocked and what I really loved is that the whole place has open spaces, baskets, drawers, cubbies and closet space to stow your items. It is not overly decorated or cramped in anyway. We will come back to this lovely cottage on Saranac Lake in the summer when we can sit outside and use the kayaks! Thank you, nice job!

Another great time in the Adirondacks based in this cabin on Flower Lake. The place is starting to feel like home. Expect to be there another time.

We will be back! Thank you for an exceptional stay!

Fantastic property and location. One thing we found a bit wanting is that some of the cutlery was not clean and ditto for a pot. Also, when we checked in, the entire cabin was too hot, especially the bathroom, but we got it cooled down pretty quickly. Other than that, everything was perfect.

First of all, 4x4 or not, the hill going to these cabins should be diligently plowed. We were there for 5 days, and it literally snowed every day that we were there. In those 5 days a Jeep Wrangler came and plowed once, and didn't put down any salt. The evening that we arrived it was actively snowing and to access the front door of the property, we had to traverse snow so deep, that I had to change shoes to do it. We couldn't even find the steps to get down to the porch, because the steps were covered by deep snow. Once we finally made it to the porch/deck, we found the worst Fisher-Price, plastic shovel imaginable. Once I began to clear the "steps", I realized that they weren't steps, at all. They were pieces of flagstone, laid into the hill, with NO railing, whatsoever. Needless to say, I shoveled them as well as I could, with the crappy shovel from the porch. When those flagstone steps got icy, they were very dangerous to go up and down. They are a hazard! You need some REAL concrete steps, and a railing!
NO ONE WANTS TO COME ON VACATION AND HAVE TO SHOVEL SNOW!!!
And now for the house...It was much smaller than the VRBO pics. There was not enough common area seating, and no TV in that common area. The TV in the lower bedroom is way too small. Also, no one wants to try to figure out how to use a streaming service, just to watch TV. GET SOME CABLE!
There were 2 couples in my party, and once we brought in our luggage, there was no place to safely put it. There isn't a closet in the cabin, so consequently we spent the entire weekend tripping over our own luggage. The listing was a lie, it CANNOT sleep 6.
I would never come back to this cabin again. The winter snow made it bad, but even in non winter months, the cabin itself was completely underwhelming.

My wife and I spent 4 nights at this lovely cabin on the water. We stayed in Seneca Lake to ski, sightsee, and tour Lake Placid. For anyone who is interested in a more relaxed, community feel, I highly recommend staying here instead of Lake Placid. The commute was only about 10 minutes, but Seneca had so much to offer. The cabin was in great condition, cozy, and welcoming. If you are looking for a nice cabin with a lovely water view, I’d highly recommend staying here.
*if you are staying in the winter, I’d recommend a 4x vehicle, the driveway is pretty steep, however they had someone plow it each morning it snowed!

Enjoyed the cozy cabin for a few days ! It was quaint with a beautiful view. Neighboring cabins are quite close by which was ok but I didn’t appreciate on pictures pre booking.

We hiked for hours every morning, swam, kayaked and fished off our dock every afternoon h til night. We made one little trip to hike near Lake placid and visited that town. Couldn’t have been much better!

Loved the special attention by the owners with the wine gift basket and the dog area. Wish I would have brought my dog. We used the solo fire pit every night and loved it. The lake was busy in front of us but everyone was so friendly, such a nice community.
