We had a great time here. We had 11 total guests staying and the house was definitely able to handle it and still feel roomy. A lot of great amenities and games included for use, and it was perfect for the kids to enjoy. Will definitely be returning in the future!

This house provided amazing comfort, space and everything was of great quality! Plenty of games to play and the coffee bar was my favorite! The owner was very helpful with everything from beginning to end, she also provided restaurant recommendations and a taxi service while we stayed there. Would definitely come back!

We had the best time staying at the cub house with our 3 kids- ages 7, 11 and 13. The house had plenty of cozy blankets and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. The house was extremely clean and the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans so it was easy to cook dinner. We felt very comfortable, safe and had a great time playing games and enjoying the hot tub. This was truly a fantastic property and we hope to come back soon.

The cabin has everything you could want in a getaway. It is situated in an ideal location walking distance to many shops. From nespresso pods to board games, every detail was thought of to ensure that we felt like we were at home. Kristi, the homeowner, checked in on us via text a few times to make sure our stay was going smoothly which we appreciated. We will definitely be staying here again!

I'm a youth pastor, and we took a group of 10 HS students and 4 adult leaders up to Arnold for a weekend away. It was a great cabin for a retreat, with a large living room, dining room, and bathrooms. Our students especially loved the hot tub and the opportunity to make snow angels in the backyard. The cabin was in great condition, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, and it was easily one of the smoothest trips we've ever done as far as the cabin goes! I totally recommend this cabin to other large groups & families.

Place was excellent and as advertised. Bedroom with bunk beds was great for kids. Host was very prompt in responses and was able to accomodate our special requests. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely long weekend at the Cub House! There were 3 families (6 adults, with 6 kids ranging from 1–7 years old). The kids loved sleeping upstairs in the bunk beds with the arcade nearby. The kitchen was well-stocked and the board games for all ages were an added bonus. The common area is spacious and comfortable -- we were able to all sit at the table for meals, then hang out on the couches to chat. The house has also been maintained well -- it's clean and everything is working.
Kristi was responsive and flexible, going out of her way to make sure we had a good stay. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay in Arnold! The house was a great fit for our large group - the kids loved the bunk room, there was plenty of space for us all, and the adults loved having some peace and quiet downstairs. We loved sledding in the backyard and the location was great. We’ll be back!

The house was a great layout and comfortable for our big group with lots of kiddos - they loved playing in the backyard with the sleds and had a blast in the bunk room at night. The house had everything we needed to cook meals and we all fit around the table which was great!

I knew looking at the pictures that this was going to be an amazing house. However, the photos exceeded my expectations when we walked in.
This house is beyond the best with accommodations. The house is spectacular. So clean and so cute.! I have two teenage boys who absolutely loved it. The owner is so sweet and personal. We will totally be back.

We stayed here for my mother in laws 70th birthday with 10 people including two toddlers. This house was so new, so clean , and so well equipped. When I walked in, I immediately felt so comfortable and couldn’t wait to settle in. ( I’ve rented houses that felt dirty and unwelcoming as soon as I stepped foot inside ) This house had everything that every age group needed. The linens and bedding also were so clean. It didn’t feel like a ton of people has used it or slept in the beds before us which is a great feeling. The house was spaced out well. My husband and toddler and I stayed upstairs in the “kids den” but actually it was great for us because you could not hear a single peep from downstairs who up there.
The bathroom was gorgeous and looked so new and clean as well.
I left something at the house and the host Kristi was so responsive and on top of it to help me retrieve it back.
She was also very fast to respond to anything. I needed all weekend.
We will be back! I recommend this house to everyone! Thank you Kristi!

The location is great. We were able to see giant Sequoias, an old west town (Columbia) and Yosemite (3 hour drive) while we were there.
Lastly, the customer service was fantastic. We received instructions from the property management team but the owner went out of her way to call me ahead of time to ensure our stay was the best it could possibly be. She was a delightful person to talk to and even gave us great recommendations for entertainment (Columbia wasn’t on our radar until she recommended it)
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone planning to travel to this area, particularly with children. It is even better than advertised!

Company Weekend Retreat
I booked this home for our yearly company employee appreciation weekend. It was perfect! The home was clean, well appointed and offered plenty of space for our group! The outdoor firepit and hot tub were both very popular and the proximity of the home to both Murphys and Calaveras Big Trees State Park was perfect. Owners were attentive to all of our needs and were a phone call away to answer any questions.

We chose Arnold for our annual family trip and everyone had a great time! There was something for everyone, with plenty of board games to choose from, air hockey, corn hole, and the arcade with retro games was a blast for the kids and adults! We enjoyed an evening by the fire pit, grilling on the bbq, and hot tub to stay warm! The house and kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, plus more! The location was perfect, right near town, there was a market very close by, and plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy for the whole family. The checkin process was easy, the host made themselves accessible to answer questions, and were very accommodating! We hope to be back for another visit in the future!

Super clean and spacious property with beautiful layout, tastefully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with all the amenities for a family vacation in the woods.
We were three families with kids ranging from 6 to 12 years. Everyone including the kids had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The kitchen was fully stocked with enough pots and pans as well as Kuerig coffee and Nespresso espresso machines. The bathrooms were also stocked with basic amenities and lots of towels.
There is also a jacuzzi on the deck which we did not end of using since it was a little chilly and there were so many other things to do.
The home has a lot board and card games for the kids ( and adults) and the upstairs kids room has bunk beds, separate TV for kids and a game Arcade to keep them busy.
The Big Trees shopping market is less than a mile away and all the main restaurants are within 2 miles which is very convenient.
We spent at giant Sequoias at Calaveras Big Trees State Park which is less than 5 miles away and Arnold Rim trail. The ART trailhead is about 2 miles from the property.
Not one complaint about this property. We will be back for sure.
