Feel like you're in a Hallmark movie set at the uniquely perfect Lakemont Pines private lake - available only to homeowners and guests, with swimming docks and free rentals of paddleboard/kayak/boat rentals and sandy beaches, not to mention a snack shack and activities available for the kids!
Knotty Pine Palace is a charming, dog-friendly retreat in the heart of the Sierras. The living area boasts stunning pine ceilings, creating a cozy ambiance. With a gas log stove for ambience, and central heat & air conditioning throughout, the cabin comfortably accommodates 5-6 guests. Stay connected with Wi-Fi and bring your furry friends along as dogs are welcome!
Our newly remodeled and adorably decorated single-story cabin boasts a comfortable living space and open floor plan offering dining and kitchen space that is perfect for entertaining. The primary suite has a king bed and master bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a double bed on bottom and a twin on top.
You'll savor the outdoor deck area, which offers tons of entertaining and relaxing space, with outdoor couches and tables, a propane fire pit and propane BBQ, not to mention a superb hot tub for relaxing under the stars. Whether you're playing a horseshoes or a game of cards, you'll never want to leave the Knotty Pine Palace, where you will have the time of your life relaxing or fulfilling all your outdoor adventure desires!
Access Information: You will receive check-in instructions, including your access code for entry, 2-4 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Please be sure to check your junk/spam email, as sometimes these instructions end up there.
Pet Policy: Well-behaved and housebroken dogs welcomed, but must not be left alone (must be over 1 year old - max 2 dogs) with $50 non-refundable pet fee (please include in your reservation notes how many pets you're bringing, max 2). Audio/visual cameras are on site (exterior only).
Tenant must be at least 25 years old to rent.
Communication: Property management will contact tenant by their preferred method of communication (personal email, text, etc.) to send a required rental agreement, check-in instructions, etc.
Payment (where applicable): A 2% surcharge (of the total transaction amount) will be added to your transaction charges when your credit card is charged. Upon booking, $300, plus the c/c fee, is due immediately and is charged to the credit card on file. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival (if you are booking a stay that is sooner than 30 days from the booking date, the full amount is due immediately & will be charged to your card on file). We will accept payment by check for the final payment, as long as your arrival date is further out than 45 days. If you wish to pay by check, please email our office immediately to advise us NOT to charge your card on file for the final payment. Please note that if your check is not received by the 30 day mark, your credit card on file will be charged, regardless of previous arrangement. All payments are due in full 30 days prior to your arrival.

This is one of the nicest cabins I’ve stayed at in Lakemont Pines. Beautifully furnished with everything up-to-date. Cupboards and drawers filled with every utensil you could possibly need or want. Beautiful, well furnished deck and the hot tub was a real plus. Air conditioning was also a bonus. The only negatives were very minor: definitely not much curb appeal and a little bit too close to the neighbors.

Our stay was too short! We loved our time at the lake, our time on the back deck for breakfast & dinners and the layout of the cabin was very nice. The kitchen was large and had all the necessities for cooking at home which we enjoy doing with our family gatherings. I would highly recommend this place for small groups.

We stayed at our rental for the weekend with my son, his wife and their two kids. We were pleasantly surprised with the convenience and efficiency of the house. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the tools we needed for cooking meals and the house was designed well for use with a family in mind. It was located centrally so we could go to Big Trees state park and still have enough time to go to the lake and chill there with our family. Can’t wait to go back!!

Our recent stay exceeded our expectations. The cabin was exactly as described, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat for our weekend getaway. One of the highlights was being able to bring our beloved little dog, Coby, along for the trip.
Our teenagers had a fantastic time, especially enjoying the fire pit for marshmallow roasting and the hot tub for relaxing evenings. The cabin's amenities, including the well-appointed kitchen, made meal preparation a breeze. Plus, the convenience of a nearby supermarket made stocking up on essentials easy.
The location was perfect for our outdoor adventures, with Big Trees just a short drive away and the lake offering opportunities for fishing and sunbathing on the beach. After a delicious dinner in quintessential downtown Murphys, we enjoyed unwinding with a scary movie in the cozy living room before retiring to the super comfy beds for a restful night's sleep.

We enjoyed this house so much! The perfect design for a family stay. Great living space, spacious kitchen, nice beds. Just a short walk to the lake, short drive to the club house/beach. Easy in and out driveway. We enjoyed the back deck every morning and evening.

If you know the area this is a nice place, especially nice if you have dogs I guess. The listing doesn’t mention that it has AC but fortunately it does - it was our first time in Arnold and we were surprised how hot it was considering it’s at 5K elevation.
The lake is close - less than a mile drive/walk but the house is not on the lake as shown on the listing map.
Nice house, great kitchen and patio space. Nice mattress in master and pretty comfy living room couch as well. Only issue was that there really is no yard space for kids. The front and backyards are pretty uninviting and the backyard had foot high weeds throughout. Linens in master bedroom do need to be replaced.

We had a fabulous time at the Knotty Pine! The location was great for wine tasting, golf and hiking. We also had some delicious meals at local restaurants. The house is beautiful, with a well stocked kitchen, nice sitting areas in the great room and deck and a washer/dryer. Our pal from Scotland really enjoyed the trip too! We will definitely be back. The cabin is super cute, very well stocked and maintained. Matching the pictures and description. It’s very close to a lake with a beach if you stay in summer and supermarket to stock up on anything you need for your stay. Communication was flawless and hosts extremely accommodating. The cabin was super cute! Almost everything is new. They included a welcome basket, an awesome binder with all the info for a perfect weekend. The deck was a perfect place for our happy hour with the comfy couch and chairs. Access to the lake with all of the amenities, tables, shades and flootie rentals, even a snack shack! Lovely surprise and we spend a whole day there. A couple of things would make this a five for me. The refrigerator was really full, making it hard to store the groceries we brought and zero cabinet space. Alot of counter space was available. Check-out time at 10 AM, for me, the check-out is too early. I would have liked to sit and enjoy the last day of my trip for an hour or so before packing up. Overall, this was the nicest cabin I've stayed at, so many fun decorations.
