About this apartment rental

This private, cozy one bedroom apartment is nestled on the Connecticut River with direct waterfront access yet is only 4 miles from the quaint Historic Littleton downtown area which offers many dining and shopping oppurtunities. The property offers hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, hammock snoozing, firepit enjoyment, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, ice fishing and more. Littleton has been rated as one of the top ten best small towns in America and offers a great Main street experience including a covered walking bridge and a suspension bridge. There is also a pretty river walk downtown. We even have a ski hill in town and of course larger ski areas are also available nearby.
The apartment is the only rental unit on the property. It offers one bedroom with a beautiful antique full bed with lace canopy and super comfortable mattress and pillows as well as a blow up twin mattress. The bathroom is a tub/shower combination. We provide linens and there is a washer and dryer in the unit for your use. The apartment has three mini-split units for heating and cooling as well as a heated floor in the bathroom .There are no stairs to enter the unit and no stairs in the unit, it is all completely one level, perfect for those who have difficulty with stairs. We have plenty of parking for those who have trailered equipment.
This unit is in our detached post and beam garage with beautiful exposed beams throughout the apartment. We live on the property in our log home. We will give you as much privacy as you need. You are welcome to use the workout equipment on the second level of the garage, just note that this area has no heating or cooling.

Gorgeous property and the hosts are wonderful! Patrick is excellent with communication. Rhythm is a sweetheart and so friendly. So grateful to be able to have our 2 small dogs with us. Thank you for your hospitality! We had a wonderful time!

My husband and I were looking for a place close to Dog Mountain where we could stay with our two pups. The location was so beautiful and peaceful. Patrick was there when we arrived and showed us around. He was very welcoming. I would recommend starting here to anyone looking for a quiet getaway or to explore the local area as there are many outdoor activities and restaurants available. peaceful

It was cozy, clean, quiet and beautiful. It was unfortunate that we got a little sick from our car ride there so it changed our plans a little bit. But it was just as good to stay in and get to relax at a place like that. My significant other got to meet Patrick and Missy briefly. He mentioned how nice they were. Hopefully next time, we'll get to do more. But overall, great stay and hope to be there again.

Three days and two nights of absolute bliss. Our dog Jack loved Rhythm and running around freely through the property. Plenty of great local attractions and dog friendly breweries. Pat and Missy are great hosts 10 outta 10 would and are going to book again!!!

Beautiful location, comfy accommodations with everything we needed, excellent responsive hosts. Short drive to Littleton. Many great hiking options nearby. Pet friendly. We had a terrific time, highly recommended!

Quiet location close to the northern White Mountains. We stayed in the winter and skied Cannon, which is only 20 minutes away. Plenty of other activities in the area, including a lakeside hiking trail the runs right through the property. The apartment is clean and comfortable and is perfect for a couple.

It was so cute, comfortable and Pat was a great host. I was celebrating my 60th and he left me a bottle of wine with a note! We will be returning to your great state in July. Hopefully this property is available again. Thanks for everything.

Went up for two nights day Columbus Day weekend and everything was perfect. I am looking forward to going back again and this time I would like to light a fire in the fire pit. I was looking for someplace nice and quiet, and it was just that it was very quiet, absolutely perfect just what I needed. I highly recommend. Shawn from Boston

Beautiful, quiet, serene property. Very clean and well appointed. The owners are super friendly. Great communication and hospitality. Fire pit! Dog friendly! A nice path to the water and around the property was available also. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer.

This is a comfortable and well-stocked apartment connected to the family’s garage not far from their home. The space was nicely decorated, had just enough privacy, and was perfect for our weekend away. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, and the property was peaceful and lent itself to relaxation. We briefly met the owners and their dog - all were very friendly and helpful. They gave us as much space as we needed and were there, but not intrusive. The cute town of Littleton was a short drive away. Excellent communication. Would highly recommend this place!

The accommodation is perfectly maintained and great for a couple. The apartment is opposite the owners beautiful log cabin and they allow access to the grounds which includes easy access to a mountain bike track and small boat/canoe launch! The kitchen is compact but there is everything there. The bathroom is a good size with a washer and dryer. Expect a visit from their very friendly dog Rhythm!

The place was beautifully situated, quiet and rural, although always felt safe because host's home wasn't far. Patrick was helpful but never intrusive; on the spot with requests. He loved my dogs and they loved him. The home was spotless, the property well-cared-for. Home was cool and dry despite hot weather. Firm, comfortable bed. Very restful stay.

Patrick was a wonderful host. Very warm welcoming with open communication from the moment we booked the property. It turned out to be a perfect location easy enough to get to the wedding venue and very convenient to beautiful downtown Littleton. My favorite part was waking up to long walks along the well kept the lake path with our dog, Carlin.

I really enjoyed my stay. I did some work, which was not a problem. Swimming and trails are all accessible from the property. Patrick and Missy are very generous hosts, allowing to use their kayks , Rhythm is very calm lovely dog.

What a treat to stay at such a beautiful homestead. It really was like being in your own home. Pat and Missy had everything you needed and offered up their own stuff if you needed something. What every they had it was available for you to use. My husband used the canoe and fished the reservoir and caught a ton of fish. We hiked, and drove the beautiful White Mountains. Amazing property with kind and helpful hosts. Patrick and Rhythm (owners dog) were out and about the property and super friendly, you bump into them and they are helpful by sharing the best places and things to do around town. Rhythm was sweet and delt with our rambunctious pup with grace. The home had everything you could need, a full kitchen, washer/dryer, outdoor patio, access to the ct river right from the home. Perfect landing spot for any adventuring you might do.

I wish I could give this listing more than 5 stars… I originally booked this place because they were one of the only locations that allowed dogs over 50 lbs that’s a reasonable distance from Dog Chapel. It was far more than what I could have hoped for. Not only was the place clean, but the owners are genuinely wonderful people, and the property is gorgeous. There’s so much to do! Swimming, hiking, taking in the serene views, and you can use their fire pit and canoe! It’s a quick drive to downtown where there’s even more to explore and enjoy. We ran out of time and couldn’t do it all, but all I know is that my dog is the happiest I’ve ever seen him as he had a proper chance to run around and just be a dog and play with other pups, a plus plus! The owner’s dog Rhythm is the sweetest and most patient dog you’ll ever meet. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you Patrick and Missy!

This property was very clean and well taken care of. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect, as the Moore Resevoir was right in the backyard, making it great for kayaking and hiking alongside the water. Also, the property was only a 10 min drive to the adorable town of Littleton, with great shops and restaurants. We highly recommend this property!

Thank you Patrick, Missy and Rythm for having us stay at your charming apartment. The place was very clean and I loved the way it was decorated. It had all the amenities you could ask for. Our hosts were very friendly and we had no problem with communication. The location was not far from Littleton town center and our favorite Dog Mountain. We will definitely be going back again. I stayed here for over a week and found it had everything I needed for a longer trip: fully outfitted kitchen, bathroom, and laundry; and fast internet for long Zoom meetings (I was working remote). I used a small table in the livingroom to work, but you could also use the kitchen table. The unit is newer construction and very clean, cozy, and cute. You can tell it was well-built with love. The location is super convenient to downtown Littleton and the rest of the White Mountains. I made several runs to a local bakery downtown while I was there (check out Crumb Bum for goodies). You are just a short walk down a hill to the water's edge and the property is gorgeous, with some short walking trails through the woods. The owners are right across the lawn if you need anything. I traveled with my 8.5 pound dog and she really enjoyed the trails. The owner's dog is super sweet and friendly and off leash on and off throughout the day. She is a pleasant addition to the stay if you love dogs, like me. The unit is equipped with a rubber mat for your food bowls and was even stocked with dog treats. Check with the owners, who are really nice, about pet rules. The neighborhood is gorgeous and quiet, with a picnic area and large boat ramp nearby. I encountered four unleashed dogs (only one was unfriendly) while walking/running over the course of the week - something to keep in mind if you are a runner/walker, but not unexpected for a rural environment. In addition to the nice trails on the property, there are tons of beautiful parks and trails nearby to get your steps in. I had a great stay and I'd love to come back!

Pat and Missy were the most amazing hosts! So welcoming, accommodating, and generous! They let us use their property to have a small wedding ceremony. Everything about it was perfect. They even left us a card and bottle of champagne upon arrival. We are forever grateful and will definitely be back!

I have wanted to visit Littleton ever since my husband and I drove through this scenic town en route to another destination in New Hampshire a few years ago. I’m glad we found River view Rendezvous, a beautiful waterside property located in the cool greenness of the mountains just outside town. Couldn’t have asked for better hosts or accommodations. The first floor property was spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and easily accessible for my husband who has some issues getting around these days. While the double bed was just a tad too small for my husband, a canopied bed was just what this Goldilocks wished for for her birthday trip. We both had a wonderful trip. Thank you!

It was a perfect spot for us. 20 mins to our Son’s home 10 mins to Littleton and 20 mins to our Grandson’s place in St. Johnsbury VT! The lake is awesome-wonderful for swimming! Patrick was so helpful for places to eat or to go! His dog Rythm was a nice surprise-she’s so cute and friendly! We’ll book here again when we visit our son and his family!!
