About this house rental
Comfortable 3-bedroom home with all the amenities a traveler could ask for and more. This home boasts a large updated kitchen that is a chef's dream. The kitchen opens up into the living/dining room that has plenty of seating and features a brand new 55" TV. The main level also includes 2 bedrooms with new queen-sized Nectar mattresses, and an updated full bathroom. The basement is the perfect place to relax and watch a movie or the game with another brand new 55" TV in the family room that also includes a wet bar and mini-fridge. Both TVs are smart TVs with plenty of apps to use. Guests must use their own logins for TV apps. Also, included in the basement is the 3rd bedroom and an updated 3/4 bath. If you're looking to spend some time outdoors there is a huge fenced-in backyard to enjoy playing yard games or lounge on the deck to indulge in an adult beverage or morning coffee.
This stay is conveniently located to many restaurants, parks, walk/bike trails, and attractions: Mall of America (5 minute drive) ; MSP Airport (10 minute drive) ; DT Minneapolis (13 minute drive); DT St. Paul (18 minute drive). Location is also conveniently located near bus routes!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here; the house was well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and was walking distance to a lovely park with walking trails. It really felt like home away from home.

This house, while not huge, had everything our family of 4 needed. Garrett was a responsive and friendly host. It was central to many activities and shopping plus there is a cool park with a public pool great for all ages (even teens) just steps away. There was a nice deck off the back of the house. No complaints but maybe a recommendation… given the afternoon sun really beats down on that backyard an umbrella for some shade would have made it perfect. Overall it was a great VRBO and I would not hesitate to stay again.

We stayed here while attending a conference by the Mall of America. The location for getting to the mall and nearby shopping was great.
However, the main living area upstairs (kitchen/dining/living room) is considerably smaller in person than it appears in photos.
The main problem though, are the beds. Aside from just being uncomfortable (because this is so personal), every one of them was completely worn out and sagging in the middle so if two people are in the bed, you both end up rolling to the middle. The downstairs bed frame was actually broken so that the lower half of the bed sloped downhill. The host did remedy this the next day, but fixing the bed frame didn’t improve the comfort of the bed much. Two of us ended up sleeping on the couches rather than rolling to the middle of the beds with our partners.

We've stayed at this home before, and our experience this time was equally wonderful! The house is comfortable, clean, and cool in 90+ weather! Our granddaughters spent their days with us and there was plenty of room for all. Unfortunately the hot weather kept us inside, but the breezeway and backyard are pluses, as well. We'll undoubtedly return again!

For our family vacation, we searched for a place that would provide a mix of urban activities while also allowing us to enjoy the outdoors. The Twin Cities were the perfect choice and this home truly offer a haven for us to enjoy the week. The home was situated in a quiet neighborhood close to eating options, a fun park for the family, and offered easy access to all of the large attractions such as Mall of America and Minnehaha Falls. We greatly appreciated the amenities provided onsite and the cleanliness. This was one of the best rentals we have booked. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property and would love to return in the future.

We had a wonderful time and the home was perfect for my son and his fiancee and my college daughter and her friend. The home was clean, nice set up, plenty of room, good location. WE came to meet our newest grandchild, planning to feast at my daughter's home. The labor/delivery/complications resulted in her staying in the hospital on Thanksgiving. Consequently, the Thanksgiving feast had to be held at the VRBO. Everything needed was there, spices, dishes, pots/pans, etc. It was perfect!!
So while we were not able to celebrate in her home, we had a home to celebrate in. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Richfield! The house was very welcoming -- clean, comfortable, easy to locate and beds that provided a good night's sleep. Having the extra bathroom was a plus, and the kitchen was filled with all the necessary items for coffee in the morning, and dinner in the evening. The check-in and check-out process was easy and communication with the owner, Garrett, was helpful, as well. This was our second stay here and we'll very likely be back again!

Wonderful home and yard. Having a lower level bedroom with bath, bedroom and lounging area was fantastic for the kids while the adults enjoyed the upstairs 2 bedrooms (with very comfy beds). Very nice deck with grill and 6 person patio set. Also, a well-stocked large kitchen. The central location close to museums, restaurants, and the airport made visiting and recreating with local family members so easy. We loved this home!

This place was the perfect location for anything you want to do in and around Minneapolis. Whether downtown or nature reserves or Mall of America, all of it is quickly accessible from here. The interior is all new and very clean, and was plenty roomy for my family of 4.

The location was perfect for getting anywhere around town. The property had everything needed including a well stocked kitchen and bbq grill in backyard. The backyard deck was well appointed with furniture and the fenced backyard provided excellent privacy. Our Host, Garrett was very attentive; checking in several times to see if we needed anything.

Excellent location for our weekend in Minneapolis! The fenced-in backyard with patio was great for the kids and hanging out at night. The downstairs bed is in need of repair (broken frame leading to very uneven and uncomfortable sleeping) and could use curtains in the downstairs recessed windows as well. Everything else we needed for a comfortable stay was provided.

First time in Minneapolis. 4 adults and 1 teenager. She loved sleeping in the lower “apartment” by herself. We had no trouble getting anywhere we needed to go! Garrett is an excellent host and very accommodating. Will definitely use again if we come to this lovely area again!!!

Lots of nice amenities. Nice back yard and patio furniture. TV’s were new and nice. Furniture was generally comfortable. Nice appliances. Gas range, dishwasher and refrigerator were nice and well-maintained.
The house was well-decorated and looked nice.
However, we were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. Notably upon entry, the kitchen rug in front of the sink looked stained and dirty, the kitchen sinks were still dirty, the cabinet handles, fronts, and interiors (particularly the one holding the trash can had food crumbs and waste stuck to the bottom) were visibly dirty. Then, we proceeded to the bathroom and saw several hairs in the bathtub. This did not give us confidence that the house had been appropriately sanitized for the next guests nor that the bathroom had been cleaned.
Walls looked visibly dirty in the stairway and kitchen, and the floors left any light colored socks dirty when walking through the house.
The basement was damp and smelled musty. There was a dehumidifier, but it didn’t have a hose to the drain. It had quite a bit of mold on the inside of the tank, so it’s likely that it was not being emptied routinely.
The downstairs bed seemed to have a broken spring. There was a hole towards the middle of the bed that you fell into. Overall, we really wanted to like it more than we did. The owner was responsive and tried to address some of the issues.

I was impressed with every aspect of this property -- the neighborhood, ease of access, cleanliness, comfortable beds, and very comfortable! The owner offered to move the check-in time to 2 hours earlier, which was very helpful, and the instructions inside the rental were very clear and easy to follow. I will definitely stay here again, hopefully in the summer, when I can use the enclosed porch, patio, and grill!

My husband, two young children, my parents and I enjoyed our stay here! The house is in a great location and so close to everything. We visited the children’s museum downtown, Mall of America and many local restaurants. My parents loved having their own bedroom and bathroom in the basement! The communication was easy, place was clean and perfect for a getaway with my family!

My church group rented the house for a couple of visiting ministers and the location was super convenient, both to the airport and to our church. Garrett was super helpful and accommodating to a lot of coming and going beforehand, and our guests were very comfortable. With a large park and lots of shopping nearby, it had everything we needed.
