When meals come around, the home’s main level boasts a fantastic full kitchen complete with stylish tile, exposed shelving, and modern appliances that will welcome the culinary-inclined guests to whip up tasty recipes with ease. No reception at the house. Description did say it could be spotty but we had no reception. Bought a couple of dvd players and movies. The floors were not cleaned.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was our annual family summer vacation. Loved the contemporary feel of this home plus the view was awesome. Perfect if you have a boat and want a fun filled lake vacation. Our kids are all adults now but still enjoyed the game room downstairs. All of the beds are very comfortable. This is our 3rd time being on the lake with different homes and this one was by far the best of the three. Highly recommend this home PLUS the host Michelle was so great to work with. She was always there to answer questions and give us updates.

After 10 years of renting houses at the beach for vacation, my family decided that they wanted to do something different this year. And we're so glad we did! The house was perfect for our family of 10. And the property is gorgeous. We spent most of the days down on the dock or on the lake. We rented a pontoon boat for the week from Terrace View Marina, an awesome family run business. The lake was beautiful and not crowded at all. We went fishing, tubbing, cliff jumping and sightseeing. On the dock, we fished, swam, kayaked and just hung out together.
The hiccups we encountered were the ice maker, the WIFI and the path to the dock.
We got ice from Jerry's Bait and Tackle just up the road. The Wi-Fi is spotty at times but it does state that in the description of the place. My two teenage granddaughters were the only ones that had a problem with it. Haha!
If you have any problems with mobility, like I do, you will need some help getting down to the dock. The path is a little steep and gravelly but, that didn't keep me from going down there everyday.
A memorable time was had by all and we can't wait to come back!

The property was as listed in the photos. Some minor wear and tear but overall was as pictured in the videos.
Pros:
Beautiful view
Access to Kayaks, floats and water toys
Spacious for setlveral guests
Cons:
Wifi service is terrible. If you are planning to do a little work on vacation, think again....
There were only 2 lake towels. Instructions said to only use lake towels and not the white bath towels. I guess bring your own if you have a large.party???
Frequent power outages. Strangely, this occurred on day 1 and the checkout day. This made things very difficult to unpack upon arrival in the dark and feed the little ones with no appliances to operate to heat up food. Power came on after a few hours. On checkout day, the power went out just after 8am. Again, problematic because we still needed to make breakfast before the 10am checkout time and complete morning essentials like showering and brushing teeth for example. The house is on a well, so when the power goes out, so does the water. When asking the host for a late checkout, they were unresponsive.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the lake house. It’s beautiful and decorated well. It’s stocked with all the bedding, towels, kitchen essentials, etc you’ll need. The location is great as well. Close to several marinas.

This place is simply amazing! Words can’t describe the view from the house! The house is nicely and well decorated and it is a perfect spot to relax with family & friends! We were in 8 adults and 6 kids from 10-14 years old. The kitchen is well equipped and had everything handy to prepare our meals on Christmas day since everything surrounded was closed and far!
I highly recommend this hidden piece of gem!
Michelle was very friendly and helpful! Communication was great!
Thank you so much for sharing and allowing us to stay at this gorgeous property! Definitely plan to stay during Summer when weather is warmer and we can enjoy the outdoors!

The house is in a great location right on the water. Plenty of parking. Everything in the house seems to have been recently updated. The fixtures and finishes were very nice. We especially noticed the high quality and plentiful supply of kitchen utensils. The beds were comfortable. The lower deck and hot tub were also very nice and we were able to use them despite it being December. I would recommend this house to anyone with a large group wanting to stay on the lake.

Great house in an amazing spot on the lake. The 4 kids that slept in the bunk beds all have bad painful rashes all over. Taking to doctor soon, looks like scabies 😱 otherwise great vacation spot

Our family had a wonderful time. The game room and kayaks were fun for all ages. The house was very nicely decorated and the kitchen was well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation!

This property is so beautiful. The decor is stunning, clean, modern but comfortable. Plenty of space for our group of 10. Two levels of porches to enjoy the lovely view of the lake.

We had an incredible time hosting a bachelorette weekend here! There was more than enough room for our large group to comfortably sleep, lounge, shower, eat. etc.! The decor in the house is so beautiful, beds were very comfortable and towels plush. There is a hot tub and solo stove outside on the new deck which was not mentioned in the listing but was a great surprise. The dock is a hike to get down to but very nice and spacious. There were two kayaks, life jackets, and assorted floats/pool noodles that came in handy! Michelle was very helpful and responsive to any questions I had before and during our stay. Thank you for the amazing weekend!

There were 12 of us in the house, from 5 months to 99 years old. The house and beds were comfortable. We all enjoyed the foosball table and video games. The lake: it was warmer than expected, the kayaks were a lot of fun. There isn’t really a “beach,” but there is walk-in access to the lake for the younger kids and older folks. I’d recommend wearing water shoes because it’s a bit rocky. Also, the walk to the lake is steep. Not a problem for the kids and younger adults but the seniors took it slow and easy. All in all a great stay and we are already talking about a return visit.

My extended family and I had an amazing stay at this property. 8 adults and 6 kids 5-12, I do not think any more could have stayed comfortably. The furnishings and decor were so nice. We did use the washer and dryer to keep us stocked with clean towels and wash cloths- bring some laundry detergent! The kitchen was extremely well equipped. Our family loves to cook and we made meals every night, kids ate outside and we ate in the dining room. There is a large dining table, but not big enough for our 14 person group to all eat there. The decks and dock were beautiful with kayaks to use. We did rent a boat and docked it over night, kids had tons of fun in the lake tubing, kayaking, and we brought our own paddle boards. The path down to the dock had a very short segment (10-20 ft) that was a little steep, but otherwise manageable. The closest town has a small grocery store with basic needs, but we did get most of our groceries on the way in by stopping in Knoxville. We did not go out to any restaurants in town. I would definitely return to this property for another stay, gorgeous views, peaceful scenery, a wonderful setup for relaxing and visiting.

Our family had such an amazing week at this Watts Bar Lake hidden gem. Being from PA we’ve stayed at numerous other lake house rentals in various states and this one surpassed all of our expectations. The home itself is in a very quiet, secluded, back road cul-de-sac and you can tell the owners put a lot of thought and attention to detail into their home. The kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms are all well equipped with everything you need and the family room, game room (big hit), deck, dock/lake is where we (and you will) spent most of our time.
There is a lot to do in drivable distances, but we spent the majority of our time on the lake and at the house. We checked out nearby Ozone Falls, which we’d also recommend (short, rocky hike down to the waterfall, waterhole). We rented a pontoon boat through Terrace View Marina and wish we would’ve secured it for back to back days before asking when we went to return it. They were very nice and friendly people to deal with and had reasonable daily rental rates. The lake itself was so peaceful and not nearly as crowded as we imaged it would be. From both the boat, kayaks and dock we caught catfish, sunnies, largemouth bass and even small stripers. Jerry’s bait shop is a cool local business where we stopped numerous times in Rockwood for our live bait. We were talking about how we imagine the fishing is even better in the Spring / Fall months when the water is cooler which Jerry’s walls confirmed (the lake water was 90 and awesome for swimming).
We could go on about the property, house and lake but you get the point…5 stars!

Family reunion
This house was great. We had 16 adults for a family reunion. Space in the house is tight with that many but the outdoor space is amazing. A new deck, hot tub and fire pit are huge improvements and were not pictured. The deck is quite large. Big enough for corn hole. The deck is a great place to have a drink or dinner and enjoy the amazing lake views. The house is remote but getting grocery’s and ice was not a problem. There is a gas station convenience store about ten minutes away. The Dock is an amazing place to spend the day. Plenty of room for all our lawn chairs and lake toys. There are two kayaks available for use. We were able to launch our boat at the end of the cove. The guy that owns it said he had no problem with renters using it (but there are no trespassing signs).
The lake is gorgeous. Water was perfect for wake boarding and tubing. Never much boat traffic. Also cliff jumping a short boat ride away and a sand bar to hang out was also not far by boat.
This is a first year rental and owner is very responsive and always got back to me quickly.
Everyone in our group had a great time.

Michelle was very helpful. We left a lot and she mailed it to us..
The view was beautiful! Getting to the lake was a little slippery, but the house and atmosphere were wonderful! Very enjoyable week!!!

Return to birthplace area for 80th birthday
Great tucked away location on the Tennessee River. Quick and easy access to Lake for watercraft use. Plenty of prime parking and excellent security. Sufficient sleeping accommodation for our party of 11. Great views of the surrounding TN River. I would consider returning to this location however the daily fee is well beyond my budget.

Wonderful Experience
First and foremost, the house/property/location is absolutely amazing. Waking up and seeing the beautiful view of the lake and trees from the main room was such a great way to start the day. Everyone we had with us had nothing but good things to say about the time we spent here. The amenities were all very nice and we had about everything we needed on site. We were pleasantly surprised to see a large additional deck and hot tub that wasn't pictured on the listing. I don't think we could've found a more perfect place for all of our family to enjoy. Peaceful, serene, and gorgeous.

This lake is so beautiful!
This property is very beautiful! The beds were super comfortable, Michelle was VERY quick to respond to my questions that came up while we were there. The dock is wonderful and we had a great time swimming and being able to dock the pontoon we rented was really awesome. The walk up from the lake was a little steeper than I expected, but well worth the walk down! The decks and fire pit were very nice too. If I were to make any suggestions, it would be to add a commercial size ice maker, as getting ice was a challenge (and maybe some measuring cups in the kitchen).

We had a great time, the house and view were beautiful and I loved that all the essentials were there, except coffee filters!
There were only 2 kayaks, no paddleboards I would recommend anyone going to bring rafts or something for the water but that was the only downfall. Everything else was really great and the deck and firepit were awesome! Thank you.

We had a relaxing lake experience in a modern yet cozy house. I would 100% recommended and will be back!

I rented this property out for my brother in law’s bachelor party. We took the weekend to golf in Crossville. Even though this was just under a hour drive from the courses it was not at all the least bit inconvenient. The home was amazing, and we all couldn’t say enough about how great this property was. I highly recommend for anyone looking in this area or for even a Crossville weekend trip.

Outstanding Lakehome
This property is beautiful and the accommodations were outstanding! The kitchen had great appliances and dinnerware and the downstairs gameroom was awesome, especially for the kids and the young at heart!! It also had a two slip dock for those with boats. We will definitely rent this place again and Michelle Hall was a excellent and informative host!!! 6 stars 🌟

I was so pleased to be able to find such a lovely lake home to surprise my husband with a weekend getaway for his 40th birthday. We had some friends meet up with us and we just relaxed, enjoyed each other and cooked the whole weekend. We were thankful for the new instant pot and grill that were provided for us to use. The house is tastefully decorated. Everything was new and felt upscale. The lake view was incredible. We enjoyed hanging out at the dock and we had plenty of room to spread out and fish. It was too windy when we were there to kayak, but it would have been nice to do. We will definitely book the house again since it’s in such a great location and not a bad drive from our house. We were also thankful to be able to bring our small dogs and the host was very accommodating to that. We had no complaints and so thankful that we were able to go. Thanks again!!!
