Nice property. Could use a couple extra hand towels in the kitchen and an extra roll (2 instead of one) of TP.

We very much liked the location. The deck was a lovely place to sit for drinks or to watch the sunset over the river. We walked over the bridge to a local store in Wiscasset for coffee and pastries in the morning.

We had an excellent stay - highlights include convenient distance from where we were taking a class and affordability. I loved having coffee on the porch and looking at the water.
On the down side, we had ants that were right next to the door - however, property management were very responsive and put out traps that controlled the problem.
Other down side -the last night we stayed, we had no hot water - the first night we were there the shower started hot but then didn't get as hot as it should, and then that last night the water simply ran cold - we had done dishes an hour before and it just stopped working. worth noting, you may have this issue.

Stayed with 2 friends, was able to check in with ease of the email sent. Got in after 5 and started settling in when we started killing ants. Contacted them and heard back almost instantly that it was late but someone would be out first thing in the morning. Ants were so bad we had to find a gas station that was still open to buy spray. No one ever came out and what did us in was when we stared getting bit by ants. No one offered to pay us back for the $10 can of spray and communication after the initial contact was generic email responses. I really hope they take of this issue and their communication because it is a nice property with beautiful views. Just very bad experience.

Nice and central location, but the cottage was very poorly constructed, you can hear your neighbors every conversation, doing dishes, just walking on the floor was so loud. This was very disappointed. The cottage was clean at first glance, but the ceiling fans has dust just hanging from them, bathroom Fan was full of dust, window sills had bugs and dirty, plus the base boards. Certainly not work the money.

The perfect mid coast spot! We used this as a base for day trips from Freeport to Camden and many places in between. Very convenient, quiet location perfect for two people looking to get away and relax

Nice place. Only issues were EXTREMELY thin Toilet Tissue (had to go get some 2-Ply) and no Tissues anywhere in the place. Wi-fi was good and bed was awesome. Good for a 3 night stay!!

As advertised. The bathroom and bedroom are spacious. The location was as advertised remote, yet convenient and with a great view. We were only there to sleep. My young adults would have had difficulty sleeping together on the pullout sofa but we had an inflatable with us so we were good. Great place for groups traveling together as noted, you can sometimes hear your neighbors. Much like you would in a hotel. Sorry we had to leave early in the am. Communication was great and check in/out very easy. Would stay again!

Place was clean and well organized. Bed was ok pillows are pancakes. Walls are super thin and you can hear EVERYTHING in the adjoining unit.
On Sunday evening at about 6:30pm another guest unlocked our door and enters our unit telling us that they had rented our unit! We had booked until Tuesday morning check out. She left I called the property manager they changed our code remotely. We were still uncomfortable with the situation and left the next morning only because it was too late to leave that night. This is inexcusable guests should not have the same code and should be changed between each guest.

Before booking, we overlooked a negative comment about thin walls, noisy & dirty thinking it was an isolated incident. Photos look great. This is our first review ever; thought it necessary for future guests to know what they may be reserving. The red flag for us should have been when Vacasa could not tell us how many people could be at this location or if part of condo was lived in on a yearly basis, perhaps by owner?
Condo is part of what appears to be a 6 unit condo building with 2 in front, 2 in back facing water, 2 downstairs. When we booked, VRBO ad made it look and sound like you have 1 unit front to back with only 2 units on premises. We had back condo with side entry, balcony & water view.
Space is separated by 1 bedroom door . Guests next door might as well have been in our LR. Very, very thin walls, can hear everything. Very noisy stay. We lost sleep. Unable to enjoy condo & balcony if guests next door were on their balcony or at condo.
Housecleaning leaves a lot to be desired. Sticky coffee tables and frig doors, dirty area rug, & white ceiling fans in bedroom and LR were filthy; thick with black dust. Extra towels were stuffed under the bathroom vanity by cleaning supplies and pipes. One towel was entirely stained by what appeared to be hair dye or something.
Vacasa was unable to answer our question about how to make an online payment for balance per their email request for balance within 24 hours or our reservation would be cancelled.
Had to get VRBO involved; did a 3 way conference call where VRBO created a case number for us to reference, just in case. Never received instructions on how to make an online payment for balance during that phone call.
We travel a lot across the USA and for the rate we paid thru Vacasa, we did not have a clean, peaceful, and quiet vacation. Although the nightly rate looks attractive, Vacasa fees were significantly higher than VRBO fees and you are well over $200 per night. We will not stay at this condo again or make a booking thru Vacasa Management in the future.

Great property. Easy check in process. Clean for the most part. There were a few hairs in the shower, but other than that it was fine. The host was very communicative and it was a seamless process. Only issue was that the walls are pretty thin. We could hear the tv from the family next door very clearly which was a bit distracting when you’re trying to sleep.

nice views of the bay, great location to islands around for site seeing. no washer/dryer.

This was a very cute secluded home with an amazing view, close to shops and restaurants. I would stay here again if I'm ever in the area again!

The location was great and the view was magnificent. The master bedroom, the bed was very comfortable. I would suggest having more pillows though.
