This is a great neighborhood just off Olmsted Park. A quick walk to waterfront dining admission on the bay on the rooftop. Enjoyed playing SalemOpoly! Clean place with well equipped kitchen.

We loved the location of the property. It was half a block from the restaurants and shops. So close to the beach. The apartment itself was so clean and comfortable. Everything you could want was supplied. The back yard was a plus for our dog. We would defi itely book this property again.

We had the best time during this stay. The location is fantastic, just steps from restaurants and King’s Beach and Fisherman’s beach. The unit is comfortable and well laid out. We enjoyed the comfortable living room and felt the hosts were incredibly responsive. There are also 1.5 baths which is great with kids. We were there a month so feel like we are qualified to review the space. I highly recommend this home!

The outside of the house, including the deck, is worn and needed sprucing up.
The interior was very nice and exceptionally clean, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. The A/C units were underwhelming, as the window unit for the kitchen/dining area/living room is too small for the area. It wasn't very warm during our visit so it wasn't much of a factor, but may be an issue in the summer months. Two bedroom units were portable units, so the A/C sits in the bedroom and there is a hose that leads to a window opening. They were in the way, a window A/C would be much better for the space.
Checking in went smooth with no issues and parking is right in front of the house.

The house was perfect for 5 of us to stay comfortably. We booked this house for the main purpose of spending the weekend in Salem. Salem was only a 10/15 drive from this house! This location is perfect for walking to the restaurants right on the water.

I am so happy we decided to stay in Swampscott instead of Salem. Swampscott is such a wonderful coastal city that has so many amazing things to offer, from the food to the scenery. Just a quick train ride to Salem, so painless and easy. I will highly recommend this place to any friend that asks me about my trip.

We had an amazing stay at this location, it was clean, very family friendly, and location was perfect. Just a 5 minute walk from the main strip in/ocean with plenty of activities. Every room had their own AC unit to help fight the heat and plenty of room to relax. 10/10

good vacation. coffee maker is broken. seems to be a leak down the wall in the hall bath probably from the roof. Not bad but should be looked at. Only drawback is the difficulty getting to the home on all the 1-way streets.

We had a great stay - the location was perfect for day trips to Salem and Boston and we enjoyed walking around Swampscott. The condo itself was well decorated and well stocked - it had everything we needed! Our two young children loved the provided toys and books and we all slept well in the comfy beds. Justina was easy to communicate with and the check in was very easy — we would definitely stay again if in the area!

We had a wonderful stay in Swampscott! The location could not have been more perfect. It was central to everything and we could walk everywhere in town. The beach cart with everything you needed for a day at the beach with the kids was a favorite! Justina was so kind and helpful and went above and beyond to help us during our visit. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was the perfect property for our family vacation. It was very clean and offered plenty of room for our family with adult children. It was exactly as the pictures show, clean and roomy. It's in a nice location, super close to Salem and not a bad drive into the city. We had an amazing visit!

We were from out of town so we didn’t know the area very well and felt very safe at this rental. The place was clean and had plenty of room for a big family. The only issues we had were the blinds didn’t close all the way on the bedroom windows or were broken so we didn’t feel like we had privacy without putting blankets over the windows. The place also didn’t have any central air conditioner and the weather was warm when we arrived at the end of May. When I asked the owner about this she said that they don’t put in the window A/C units until it’s warmer than 75 outside. We opened the windows to cool the place down but it was humid and not comfortable until it was dark and then we were somewhat cooler with the windows open. We didn’t want to leave the kids window open though so that was inconvenient. The hallway bathroom as had a broken lock and we had family get locked in three times. Each time we had to use a knife to lift up on the pocket door lock because jt was stuck and wouldn’t turn on the inside of the the bathroom. Overall we enjoyed our stay! Just these few things we think should be considered fixing for future renters.

Very nice property! Had a couple people get locked in the main bathroom that has the pocket door that we had to rescue but overall a great stay!

Loved this getaway location! Was exactly what we needed coming into town. Absolutely perfect place to stay and not far from Salem at all. Clean, great amenities, Justina was awesome! If I'm ever back in Salem, will be staying here for sure.

The rental was very spacious and clean and appears to have been recently updated and they did a great job. It is very close to Shore Drive which made everything that much more convenient especially taking long walks along the shore and buying Ice Cream. Owners are great and had high chair and bed for my 15 month old grandson ready when we arrived. Very comfortable stay and is highly recommended!

We had an awesome time. It’s conveniently located walking distance to Fisherman’s Beach along with a number of food options. The owners’ have really thought of everything for you too (everything from beach gear to anything you’d ever need around the house for your stay there). We couldn’t have been happier with how it went. Thank you for the great stay!

Wonderful property, attentive hosts. Very clean ... 0pthoughtfully appointed, including streaming capability on the TVs. Nice location (within easy walking distance of the beach and many nice eateries (both casual and upscale). Had effective A/C units in all rooms ... very comfortable even during the Summer humidity.
Had a great stay!

Location is great. Nice small beach town. Home was very clean & decorated nicely. Outside steps & stairwell steps are very steep. Son tripped on first step & skinned his chins. outside stair handles were wobbly. Could use new ones. Owners very nice. Check-in process went well, no issues. Couch was worn & slightly uncomfortable. Could use a newer one. Dinning room table was small. Seats 6, but really only 4 adults. Kitchen fully equipped. Could use a pizza oven pan & cutter. Bathroom was clean. Full sized washer & dryer was a plus. Bathroom ceiling exhaust fan doesn't work very well. Would suggest to replace with a stronger fan. Bedrooms were a nice size. All window AC units worked great. Bedroom with the bunk bed & half bath was great for kids. I would not suggest adults to sleep on that full size bed in that room. Mattress is more of a futon style mattress. Very thin & uncomfortable. Ok for kids. NOT for adults. Had to purchase a blowup mattress at Walmart for $60 just to sleep on it. We placed it on top of that mattress. Outside deck could use some attention. Very nice to have. About 30-40 min drive in Boston. Depending where you are going. 20 min from Salem. Parking decks in Boston are ridiculously expensive. Anywhere from $30-40 for a few hours. Had to pay this price a few times when we visited the Aquarium & the USS Constitution. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Convenient and quiet
This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Boston and the surrounding area. Clean, quiet and a safe neighborhood. Plenty of places to dine and the best is you can walk to them all. The unit layout is wonderful. The beds are very comfortable. The description is 100% spot-on. Justina was great to deal with, no communication troubles at all. Enjoy!

Everything you need
The house was very nice and included everything our family of 6 could have needed. Not a far drive in to Boston and surrounding towns. Bonus is that Swampscott is the cutest town.

Excellent Affordable Option
This property was a great option for our family of 5 (kids 13, 11, 9). It's a second floor unit in a two-unit house. Affordable, CLEAN (some minor scuffs here and there), plenty of space, as well as great family-friendly amenities to make our stay easy. We enjoyed the fact that there were restaurants/ice cream/beach all within walking distance. Access to public transit (bus stop) just around the corner. The hosts are extremely responsive and helpful.

Wow
We were quite pleased with this amazing place. I am OCD with cleanliness and this place was just like my home. We will do all we can to come back. The location is exceptional and the bedding was lovely. I am so particular with the fine details in comfort and this place was wonderful. Take a bow!!!!

Did not meet expectations
Very worn out property that doesn’t look at all like the online pictures:
-Old and worn out / stained furniture
-Old and broken windows blinds
-AC units in windows with large gaps to the outside
-Very strong smell of cleaner used (febreze)
Etc.

Perfect location!
This lovely little beach home was a perfect location for our New England vacation. It was a great jumping off point for visiting Boston, Salem, Maine and Cape Cod. We loved the quaint little area and enjoyed several local restaurants. Our favorite thing was taking walks on the beach at night. We really felt at home with this nice spacious apartment. The beds were very comfy and all of the accommodations were much appreciated, especially having a washer and dryer and a/c units in each room. Everything was super clean and fresh and comfortable. Thank you!

Great location with small town feel and access to Boston
A fantastic vacation with a great location to start and end each day. Exploring Boston was easy and wonderful to return for dinner and drinks in the neighbourhood or at the apartment.

Perfect!
We couldn't ask for more during our stay! The location was fabulous-- with things within walking distance, Boston being about a 25 min train ride away, and downtown Salem about 15 min drive. I was even able to get a massage at The Beauty Loft, which was a quick walk away!
The place has everything you could need for kids and babies. Our seven month old had everything she needed (pack n play, highchair) and our 4 year old loved the bunk bed room (it became his little sanctuary during the trip).
If we're ever in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.
