About this house rental
This newly renovated and spacious 6 bedroom chalet is located just under a 5 minute walk to the top of the north chair lift. The chalet is located in a community of Blue Mountain know as Swiss Meadows. The community borders the tops of the chair lifts, no need to fight for parking, you can either walk to the north chair or park in one of 2 low traffic lots.
The space
Disclaimer: Due to the units location and services available, phone reception and Wifi are very poor and has a tendency to go in and out. The Wifi is a satellite provider and has limited capabilities. It is good for checking emails but not intended for streaming online videos.
This community boasts outstanding views of Georgian Bay & The Blue Mountain Village. Miles of trails and beautiful landscapes for the sight seers. Winter or Summer, Fall or Spring, no matter the season the scenery cannot be matched!
With 6 generously sized bedrooms, equipped to sleep 14 people there is more than enough room for friends and family.
There are 3 beautiful bathrooms conveniently located on each floor;
Bathroom #1 - Ground Floor - extravagant 3 piece - 11 Shower Head walk in shower w/ infrared sauna
Bathroom #2 - Main Floor - 2 piece
Bathroom # 3 - 2nd Floor - 3 piece with jet tub
A large living room with 2 couches, 1 chair, flat screen TV & Electric Fireplace is a cozy place to unwind after a day on the hill.
The games room off the kitchen is equipped with a ping pong table and gitonni table.
The kitchen has a stove top, built in oven, deep sink, dishwasher microwave, fridge, coffee maker, toaster and electric kettle. Pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, soap, dish cloths and garbage bags are all provided. The kitchen table can seat between 8 - 10 people and the breakfast bar seats another 3. Just outside of the basement entrance there is a hot tub which seats 4-6 people. The chalet has a forced air furnace, the thermostat is located in the kitchen.
If you are staying during the summer season you can practice before hitting the course on the putting or chipping green. You can also enjoy the huge patio with an 8 person patio set, patio grill and propane/charcoal BBQ. All bedding, pillows, and towels are provided.

1) The occupancy of the property is restricted to the names listed. The management company must be notified by message of any changes to the occupancy. The number of people occupying the property shall not exceed what was entered with your original booking. This includes all children and babies unless an exception is agreed upon.
2) The person booking the property must be 21 years of age or older (excluding Quebec rentals), unless otherwise specified by a Guest Support Member. The person booking must always be present for the duration of the rental period. This condition will be strictly enforced, failure to comply may result in immediate eviction from the property without refund.
3) Parking passes, keys, and or fobs will be issued upon arrival to the property, these must be returned upon checkout. If not returned your damage deposit will be forfeited
4) There are small bins for garbage and recycling in the property. After your stay, please bring all garbage and recycling to the outside receptacles, this includes all alcohol bottles. If garbage or recycling is left on the property your damage deposit will be forfeited.
5) No smoking on the property, your damage deposit will be forfeited with no exceptions.
6) Some properties have wood burning fireplaces, these are not to be used by guests, if used your damage deposit will be forfeited with no exceptions.
7) A cleaning charge will be added to your property rental fee. This is to cover basic cleaning expected from usual and normal use of the property and to include all floors, bathrooms, beds and kitchen. Any exceptional cleaning that would be considered beyond normal and conscientious use of the property will be deducted from your damage deposit at an hourly rate. At the end of your stay please put any used hand towels or dish towels in the tub, and make sure that all dishes are clean and put away. Please do not leave dishes in the dishwasher, clean or dirty.
8) The management company is not liable, nor will provide a refund, for any stoppage of electrical services caused by extreme weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
9) If property damage occurs, the management company reserves the right to use the damage deposit at its sole discretion
By proceeding with this booking , I/We agree with the management company that I/we will use the property and its facilities in accordance with the above terms and conditions and/or posted house rules, and that I/we do so at our own risk of injury.

We had an enjoyable family getaway. The home is large and for the most part comfortable. The location is great.
The kitchen is not as well equipped as advertised and many things in the home are older and/or in poor condition. The water dispenser and ice maker in the refrigerator do not work. Most of the mattresses are older or poor quality and therefore not very comfortable.

This chalet is a great place to house a larger group of people. The location is convenient as it's not far from the Blue Mountain Village, "downtown" Collingwood and a number of other attractions such as the caves, breweries and vineyards.

The location and property itself was beautiful. There was a small issue on the lock entering the facility but it quickly began working. Other than that, the amenities were all wonderful. Communication with the hosts was fluid and easy as well. We would definitely consider visiting there again if in the neighbourhood!

Perfect property for 5 couples. We had lots of space, and the property manager was so attentive. Would absolutely return to this property for another weekend in the Blue Mountains!

We loved the location. Short distance to the village and skiing but far enough away from the hustle and bustle.

The space was exactly what we were looking for. Photos were accurate with the listing and the host was amazing at communicating and ensuring we had all the information that we needed.
Only 9 minute drive to Blue Mountain Village with such a beautiful view and close proximity to local walking trail.

The bedding/blankets need a wash. There is no iron and when asked why we were told it just does not come with the unit. the house was full of flies, like a door was left open prior to us coming. Floors/tables all sticky not cleaned properly. A coffee pot for 6 when the house accommodates double that amount of people. Picture shown on Ad is not what the house looks like.

Great location by Blue Mountain on the Mountain
Our family and friends with kids all enjoyed the stay very much. There were a few maintenance issues we came across like the toilet flusher was broken in the upstairs main full bath and because we only stayed 3 nights we didn’t request for immediate maintenance. Lower main bath the toilet area is very small which was quite awkward.
Lighting in the evening in the game room is very dim, please install better lighting.
Also, for future travellers there is next to nil wifi, we found our data was very spotty too as it is located higher up on the mountain reception is very poor. Though it was great to disconnect from social media and we played a lot of board games that we brought.
For families that plan on cooking full meals I suggest to bring your own chopping knives, water kettle and specialty equipment as only the basics were provided but I did expect a bit more from a place so well decorated. We brought a lot of disposable plates, cutlery and cups to try and avoid running the dishwasher that many times. Would have liked to have had more nicer plates and serving bowls for our full party of 15 people.
The space is perfect for several families with children of all ages and about 9mins drive to Blue Mountain village which was convenient and Scenic Caves is along the route.
Thank you for your hospitality overall we still gave this property a 5 star as it fit so many people quite well and everyone enjoyed their stay!

Ski getaway
We throughly enjoyed our stay. The property is spacious and clean. Quick drive to the ski hills, skating and snow shoe loop. The kids loved the ping pong and fuseball tables in the evening. The private hot tub was such a bonus. So much nicer than staying in the village. Will definitely book again.

As advertised.
Great property, fun amenities for kids, ping pong, foos ball. Hot tub is perfect for apres ski. Ski in/out not doable for most, long walk with skis. Some small maintenance items, many light bulbs burnt out etc could be improved. Overall would come back, nice place.
