Love the location, easy walking distance to town. Hosts were grest!

This tiny home was adorable. It's small, but not too small. The back porch is wonderful and peaceful, perfect for drinking your morning coffee. It's a short walk downhill to get to the main strip of Eureka Springs. Walking back uphill was a little harder, but hills are expected when visiting Eureka Springs. We saw deer right outside the the house one evening. The decor was cute and everything was functional and in good working order. LOVED that the host said "you're on vacation, you don't have to do any chores before you leave." PERFECT! We will definitely come back.

Very cozy. Great location.

We expected the property to be as pictured on VRBO site; however, to nasty and in disrepair to stay! Bed sheets & pillow cases had soiling and stains. Ceiling above fan and beams had hanging dust above the bed. The floor under the bed was thick with dust and other debris. The barn house bathroom door would not open or close properly. The trim around the glass on the front door was rotten and part had fallen off. Even though a deadbolt was on the door the actual door knob was flopping! The property manager was immediately texted pictures and asked to come to the property where we pointed out the reason the house was not ready for anyone to stay! We asked for a full refund! We called VRBO and texted pictures! It has been 15 days and NO refund!! The reason we were given for “no refund” was that we did not cancel 24 hours before. We had no way of knowing 24 hours before that the conditions were unacceptable!!!

We were only in town for one night. My wife and I enjoyed our stay, loved the cosy feel. Mary made sure we were fully prepared before our arrival. I would stay here again when back in the area.

My husband and I celebrated our 7th anniversary at the Fox Den. The location was perfect! We walked everywhere. The den is very tight, but just right for the 2 of us. We loved the porches and outdoor area. Favorite part were the 3 baby red foxes playing in the back yard area. They were so fun to watch. Very private. Cold AC. We would definitely return!

It was super cute and conveniently located. The ability to continue using parking for a few hours after check out was a godsend in eureka springs. Bed was comfy and room was super clean.

Such a beautiful little “den” tucked away from downtown, but easily walkable to the whole town of Eureka Springs. Parking was great and super helpful to get to places further away.
Enjoyed having morning coffee over looking the creek below the property, not to mention feeling extremely safe at night!

This was a fun trip! My small fur baby was welcome in our rental and throughout the town. Mary was so kind and very responsive. She stocked the room with waters, snacks and coffee which was all much appreciated. I loved the outdoor area and fire pit with a beautiful view from this sitting area.

We definitely enjoyed our stay! The house was walking distance from downtown Eureka so that was a big plus since parking is hard to find.

We had a wonderful time in eureka springs the Fox den was perfectly located for walking to shopping and restaurants. Would love to make a summer visit.
Was peaceful and had a wonderful spot out back for relaxing.

Mary was incredibly flexible and so kind! I messaged her last minute to see if we could check in a day early because the bookings weren’t allowed within 48 hrs and she made it work within a few hours!
My only complaints are totatally fixable are that the barb door for the bathroom kept on coming off of the track and trying to fall on me. And that the photos I think showed multiple units so I went in thinking the unit was gonna be a lot bigger than it was. My dad is 6’7” and disabled, so he struggled a bit to get into the Fox Den. I would maybe just maybe provide some clarification on the size of the space and the accessibility for handicap people.

Had a great time exploring Eureka Springs with my friend. The Mary Margaret was the perfect location to walk to downtown and also enjoy a quaint and serene location.

This is a very small property not realistic for 4 adults or even 2 adults. The location is great, but was not worth the price per night. There is no room for anything- we lived out of our suit cases that we had to store under the bed so we had room to move around. No where to hang clothes up either. Plus everything in the room is damp. The windows are not insulated and it was very cold in the room and any amount of heat turned into condensation. When we got there we had to immediately go purchase toilet paper because it was all wet. After the first night we had to go get extra blankets because if we turned up the heat, the room got even more damp.
The next morning I walked out to a random man on our balcony- while the property was shared with 2 other spaces, he was not those people as we had met them the day before. So we never got to take part on any of those amenities. Never figured out who he was and he was there most of Saturday- made us nervous.
Again while ideal location, We did not enjoy the stay for the price we paid.

The stay was wonderful! We are so thankful to be able to bring the dog with us. We had a chance to meet the managers of the property and both were so welcoming! The cottage is small but perfect for two people and a four legged friend.
Thank you all so much for the awesome time!

Super convenient location for all of our Eureka Springs adventures!

This really is a tiny space so you will need to be organized. The location is very close to the action, but it is up a very steep hill-you will get your exercise.. The best part was the back porch where we spent early mornings and late evenings enjoying the forest. Our hosts were very welcoming and responsive to our needs.

My husband and I stayed her for our 1st wedding anniversary. The property was so cute and clean! We loved how close of a walk it was to the down town area. We used the fire pit one night and the firewood was already provided. We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Inside was clean. Porches could have been cleaner. Entry door and knob need work. Difficult to turn it. Parking space for Fox Den needs filling in. Do not recommend this property for 4 adults. Was difficult for older adults to climb up into loft for sleeping.

Great place to stay for a couples getaway.

Nice tiny cottage for a couple nights. Probably too small for a week long stay but for our family it was perfect for two nights. The kids slept in the loft and we slept downstairs.

This was more of a motel room than a Cottage very small, no room, hardly at all

Very cute property! Perfect place for a couple or small family to spend a few nights.

This little property had everything it advertised and is quite cute! It is very clean and cozy inside with several nice little touches like snacks, books, large wall-mounted moveable flat screen tv, & a lap blanket. The bed had a very comfortable memory mattress and soft comforter.
We were surprised though by the 2nd bedroom loft. It was just big enough for children or maybe a teenager, but I would not recommend booking this site for more than 2 adults.
The Fox Den that we stayed in is not the main house that is in some of the pictures, but the smaller building attached to the right side. There are 4 gravel parking spots so everyone has their own spot. The house is at the top of a rather tall hill very close to the main part of town. I didn’t walk it and chose to drive and park, but mostly because of the 95 degree days. It would be walkable for most people.
Our host checked in with messages a couple times and offered to let us park there early and a couple hours after checking out, which was very nice of her. Would highly recommend if you don’t mind a small place.

Overall it was a good little property. We did have trouble with the barn doors in front of the bathroom opening and closing. Other than that it was fine. The convince of it being close to downtown was great. I would probably recommend this to a couple instead of a girls trip just for space/room.

We enjoyed our stay overall! This is a tiny one room stay, the deck area is shared with other units/people, but was not occupied most the time so it was fine! It is walking distance to the main streets and shopping area. It is located at the top of a steep and narrow street, and the parking spot for this unit has some potholes and we did scrape our car each time we had to back out- so beware. Not a huge deal, and the unit was cute and the porch swings were enjoyable. We would stay again.

Perfect little place in a great location!

The room was super cozy and quaint and wonderfully decorated. The side of the room had a sitting area overlooking large trees and abundant sounds of nature - just so peaceful and beautiful. The room is not a huge room, but it was plenty big enough for me, my partner, and our dog. The place was within walking distance of the downtown area (although there is a short, steep road to get to the downtown area). Loved it!!

Walkable to the main area of town. Clean. Safe area.

This property used to be called Douglas House and is still listed as such on VRBO internet searches. Mary’s contact info is listed under Douglas House and the current Mary Martha. Douglas House was a two bedroom cottage with living room and kitchen, which is what we reserved. Mary Martha is not full cottage with breakfast. We were not able to stay and our money was refunded.
