Pleasant, well-kept place with some thoughtful touches like s'mores ingredients and a wagon for transporting stuff to the beach. We enjoyed the lake, which is a short walk away, and the neighborhood is low-key and dog friendly. Would stay here again!

The cabin is so adorable and cozy overall great place. However i was under impression the water was right out the back door and it wasnt. Also the cleanliness of place was very low. The couches were not clean lots of food and dog hair under cushions. I found an old skittle candy under foot stool in livingroom and refrigerator was not clean.. lots of cobwebs and inside of trash can not clean.

It felt like home when we entered. We appreciated the board games and puzzles. There were dog bowls! It was just lovely and relaxing. I really appreciated the computer desk so I was able to work while my family relaxed.
It unfortunately rained, but the rain itself was beautiful surrounded by trees. My dogs loved the space and ran themselves tired any chance they got.
There is a walk to the pond that’s not too long. Plenty of smells for my dogs.

House very clean and organized. Easy to move in and easy to move out. The fridge and clothes washing machine exceptional. Kitchen was wonderfully set up and my sisters (2) with husbands and I were able to get a big meal together in a few hours. The pond within walking distance was clean and very scenic with beautiful sunset. We met with the locals several nights at the pond and enjoyed conversations with them. We all shared our life experiences. They actively improve the beach area. They loved my dog (a golden retriever). Seating at the pond is plastic chairs with the name of the owner on the underside but they allow you to use their chairs. Overall, a very rich, nice vacation due to the camp/house setup and people association at the beach. I will book again. The house is near North Conway, NH and will be minutes from the Fryeburg fair in October. It's a 'just bring your toothbrush' vacation.
Check in was a little rocky. Lockbox on the house with an unlock code, but we didn't have the code. E-mail from VRBO was sent with the unlock code while we were away. Settled it by calling VRBO and they gave us the lockbox code.

Myself, my 24yo son (Bridgewater MA) my 29 yo daughter and her fiancé (Marlboro, MA) and my sister (Old Town, ME) all converged for the long holiday weekend. The location was central to what we wanted to do (No. Conway, Diana’s Bath, Saco River tubing and lake swimming/kyacking). Property was large enough and comfortable. Outdoor space was nice and the community was quiet. Pond was a 10 min walk from the camp.

Very nice home/camp! Only stayed 2 nights due to my sons wedding which was at a near by venue. Property had everything you could possibly need. Would love to have stayed longer to enjoy the area and see the lake. We were basically at the venue both days. Owner was very accommodating and allowed us in earlier so we could settle before the rehearsal.
We would certainly stay here again!

Came here the previous summer too because we enjoyed it so much the first time. Although the beach area was flooded for our stay, there's so much to do and see in the area! Cute little place to stay if you want peace and tranquility!

This was the perfect little cozy cottage for us and 3 friends! We were here for a wedding and this was a much closer option than the hotels in the area. The house had everything and was well stocked! Very quiet secluded area! Perfect for 2 nights!

House was as advertised. Had everything we needed on the kitchen. Fire pit was nice. Indoor wood stove was nice and heats the house up fast.
For those who want to kayak/fish, forget about the beach near the home. It’s a walk and with the rain we couldn’t even get out there. We did however find the one area for the public on Fish and Game Rd. A short drive. Ignore the no trespassing sign as it is intended for the closed shooting range. Drive down and you can park right by the water. We caught several trout and had a great time kayaking in the scenic lake. You are also close to North Conway so the house is located perfectly. Would love to visit for a week and have more time. Thank you Julia for the rental.

Came to enjoy family at the Fryeburg Fair, and this was the perfect location. Far enough removed from the hustle of the traffic, but so close to it all.

Beach was nice to look at but without a boat not good for fishing or swimming.
8.0 / 10.0
The private beach was disappointing as the water really was not swim-able. It was filled with silt and you sank into the mud/muck- as it was not a sandy bottom. However, the house itself was very comfortable a and the Lr sofas were amazing! More lighting especially in the bedrooms would be a good addition. A plus was the labels on all of the light switches. The new bathroom was very attractive too. Thank you for giving our family a comfortable gathering place.

Clean and comfy spot accessible to everything we wanted to do. Also great having the pond nearby for fishing and swimming. My kids loved the loft and all of the games. Highly recommend if your looking for a relaxing rental for your family. Extra plus was the laundry and dishwasher! Made life a lot easier.

We had a nice time for the 3 days we were there. The cabin is nice and beds were comfortable, except it was really hot and no AC, so sleeping was not great. The area is pretty but buggy, and the beach was a lot longer of a walk than expected. The boys did not catch any fish but had fun.

We stayed here so we could float the Saco, it’s absolutely prime location for doing so. Cozy little cabin with plenty of room and close to some really good eats!

Family Winter Ski mini vacation
I stayed at this property for part of my kids' February break. This house was the perfect size for a family of 5, including two 5 year olds and a 12 year old. There was enough space for all of us, but was also cozy enough so that we spent good quality time together. We were able to cook some meals in the kitchen and snuggled every night by the fire! This location was great for local mountains. We went to Shawnee Peak and Cranmore for skiing and snowboarding. North Conway was only a 20 minutes drive.
The house was clean and had a nice rustic cabin feel to it- perfect for our winter get away. We are hoping to check it out again in the summer. I highly recommend!

Lovely cozy cabin
Had a great time at this cabin! Everything was clean and well maintained upon our arrival. Fireplace was a lovely addition. Fryeburg is only a 5 minute drive and has great restaurants, and the location is great for winter activities (skiing, etc.). Host was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. Would come again!

Adorable Cottage near mountains with water access
We recently spent a weekend at this lovely cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Julia was very responsive and thoughtful as she reached out to me a week or so before our stay to inform us the furnace was not working; she offered us a refund if we were not comfortable staying without the furnace working. The cottage has a beautiful wood stove that heated the entire place more than enough, but Julia had several new electric space heaters brought in just in case and had them up and running so the cottage wasn’t freezing when we checked in. The location is perfect for enjoying outdoor adventures in the nearby White Mountains and the cottage comes with access to a private beach for the association. We did not go to the beach as we stayed in January and it was about 5 degrees outside, but I’m sure it’s beautiful in the warmer months. Overall, we would come back again and would recommend this listing for anyone looking for comfort and a rustic Maine feel.

The cabin is exactly as described in the ad and depicted in the photos, cozy yet spacious with a very attractive and convivial layout. Very well maintained, meticulously clean and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay. Set in the woods, off any main road (very quiet and peaceful spot) yet conveniently located with easy access to Fryeburg, Conway/North Conway area and the White Mountains. During our 6 night stay, we enjoyed many hikes and outdoor activities in the area before heading back to the cabin to warm up by the woodstove (works great, wood generously provided by the owners). The host was very friendly and helpful, she answered all our questions in a timely fashion making trip planning and check-in/check-out really easy. This was definitely a great experience, highly recommend and would love to stay there again in the future.

Snuggly cabin in the woods!
Perfect spot for us for Christmas! Our Christmas plans were changed late in the game, so we decided to take the kids on a ski Christmas- something we have never done before. We had grandiose ideas of chopping down a tree, bringing it in and decorating it…and Julia was game the whole time…but that was clearly unrealistic…so we settled on bringing up some holiday decorations. We didn’t need much because this place screams winter in the woods, perfect in the snow. We also lucked out with perfect first snowfall…a bonus! Julia has the house stocked with pretty much everything you need! Our family had a truly memorable Christmas weekend. Attitash is maybe 45 minutes away, where we ended up skiing. We love this part of Fryeburg and are usually near Kezar Lake in the summertime, so I’d imagine this would be a cozy summer rental as well. We loved our stay and hope to get back!!

Cozy and comfortable
We had a wonderful stay while we were in town for a family wedding at the Fryeburg Inn. Julia was wonderful to communicate with and always got right back to me with any questions I had prior to our stay. The house was perfect and in a great location. It was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the ability to have some cozy fires in the wood stove. We would definitely come back!
