When you visit Steamboat Springs and the Yampa Valley, you'll have a great time staying in our luxurious 2,500-square-foot Cornerstone Townhome! Located in the Mountain base area off of Mt Werner road, this beautiful and brand new townhome is less than a quarter-mile from the base of the Steamboat Ski Resort, which is a short ride on the free city bus, a quick three minutes when driving by car, or a 10-minute walk up the hill! You can also forget about scraping the snow and ice off your windshield by parking your vehicle in our heated garage where there is plenty of room to store your skis and snowboards in the winter or bikes and golf clubs in the summer.
Upon entering our home you will marvel at the attention to detail in everything from the distressed wide-plank wood flooring to the hand-hewn log railings and warm hues from the custom-designed rooms. After you remove your shoes in the slate entryway and hang your coat, you enter the first of two living rooms where you will spend your evening discussing the day’s adventures in front of the large rock fireplace while relaxing on the fine leather furniture. The open floor plan on the first level allows you to move freely among the kitchen, the dining area, and extra-large living room with high 10 foot ceilings and plenty of windows framing the beautiful Yampa Valley! The fully equipped kitchen will be a welcome sight for the cook in your family and includes custom slate flooring, slab granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a large center island with bar seating.
When your meal is complete, your group is free to watch a movie or catch the big game on the flatscreen TV with a DVD player in the main living room. You are also free to finish that favorite novel or plan the next day’s adventures in front of the gas fireplace. You can even send the kids upstairs to the second living room where they can be entertained with their own TV and DVD player. If you need to check up on work during your stay, there is Free WiFi access, so you can easily knock out those last-minute projects.
After you decide to retire for the evening and rest your muscles from a day on the slopes or a hike in the mountains, the main bedroom suite includes a vaulted ceiling and a private bathroom featuring slab granite counters and a stone floor, plus a separate shower crafted from granite and enclosed with a 6-foot glass door. Or, perhaps you would like to soak your sore muscles in one of the two hot tubs while watching the stars in the clear sky, and take advantage of the heated changing rooms to dry off! The second main bedroom includes a private full bath as well, and the third bedroom is perfect for the kids. Additionally, the upstairs living room is furnished with a queen sleeper sofa with a full bathroom adjacent for a total of three full bathrooms upstairs and one half-bath on the first level.
When you leave, our goal is to have you dreaming about the days spent exploring Steamboat’s mountains and valleys and telling everyone back home how incredible your stay was in our wonderful mountain home! And if you just happen to feel the song of the Yampa Valley calling you back, you will always have a place to stay!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

This condo was perfect for our two-day ski trip. There was five of us, and this place was very comfortable. It is big, with great views and a ton of space. Parking for two vehicles. Garage will be tight if you have a full size truck but might be doable. We parked a Toyota Tacoma in the garage and a ram 1500 in the driveway. Only issue we had was, it would take two days to get property management to respond to messages through the VRBO app. We had a smoke detector that had the batteries go out at 2 AM and it started to annoyingly beep in one of the bedrooms. I sent a message through the app and never heard back (they responded after we checked out). I had to call the Vacasa 800 number. Then they had to submit a ticket. Then I had to wait for a local staff person to call me back (which was pretty quick), but would have been nice to just have the single point of contact through app. But overall would certainly recommend the property. It was great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our condo go our group of 7. Steps to hot tub out back door. Very well equipped kitchen. All bedrooms nicely sized, especially master suite. Great to have a large kitchen table and a living room area for all of us to lounge. So many condos which sleep 8 do not have “living space” for 8. This is one of the few. Would definitely stay again. Only negatives were not being able to drop 2 propels luggage into the garage before checkin so that we could have room in our Ford Expedition rental to pick up 4 more from the airport. This small request should have easily been accommodated. Luckily a friend had a friend with a place right near our rental and let us drop our ski bags in his garage for a few hrs until our checkin, but it was irritating to have to stress over this when we had our own rental with an attached garage. As with many rentals, the floors get ignored except for vacuuming. Kitchen floors sticky and wood/tile just dirty. I kept my slippers on and we wet mopped the kitchen ourselves. I’m pretty sure the cleaning staff had to do a rush job. They were clearing out as we were arriving at 4:45. Check in time was 4 pm Highly recommend a stop at Taco Cabo in town while you’re killing time before checkin.

Couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our first family vacation to Steamboat. Our teenage boys even made mention of it being the coziest "home away from home" we have ever stayed in. This unit is much bigger than the pictures appear and kudos to the owners who truly thought of everything when appointing this home. You will not be disappointed with this kitchen! We loved having elaborate dinners together followed by a nightly board game at the kitchen table, or cozying up by the fire to catch a football game. The mountain shuttle is super convenient and just a few steps from the front door. Thank you for a great stay!

Wonderful house in a fantastic location!
Cozy and inviting home with plenty of space for a larger family (we had six of us total). Perfect location and easy access to the mountain, restaurants, Safe Way, and Wal Mart. We loved the lot on the corner so the kids had the side and back to enjoy the snow. Very convenient to have the garage for storage of sleds and such. The house had everything we needed and provided a great place for us to stay for the week! We loved all of the games on hand. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. We actually rated it the best VRBO type residence we have ever stayed in for vacation. The kitchen had every item we needed to cook meals. There were plenty of books to read, games to play, and even toys for little kids. There were also extra blankets and towels. The shuttle stop is a short walk from the condo and ran on time.

Our visit to Steamboat was great. Marino #49 is an exceptional property. It provided us a home away from home. It was extremely well appointed. In fact, if you needed anything it really was there. We couldn’t believe how many games were stacked up on the bookshelf. They provided us many hours of fun. The property is well located and big enough to handle a large family or lots of friends comfortably. Brad was extremely responsive to all of our needs. Despite the obstacles we had to overcome due to lack of snow and COVID restrictions we had an amazing time. A highlight was the snowmobile tour at Rabbit Ear Pass. One we recommended you don’t miss.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cornerstone townhome. It was clean and comfy and bigger than we expected. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and playing all the wonderful family games the homeowner provides. Bradley from Steamboat vacation rentals was accommodating and helpful. Everything with our stay was smooth and stress-free. We would happily rent again.

If we had a suggestion, the pull out couch bed in bedroom should be converted to a queen. We had to buy a mattress topper to use it for adults.

The kitchen was well stocked with all cooking and eating wear and even had some food and spice odds and ends. The only thing that would have been nice to have would be shampoo and conditioner. Some of the bathrooms had body wash which was nice. Fortunately most of us brought our own. We would definitely stay here again!
