Downstairs master and kitchen. Would not rent this property again due to the yard, it’s horrible! Put money towards the upkeep of this yard.

This house worked well for the 3 of us in town for a wedding. Clean with comfortable furnishings and an awesome master suite in the lower level. I can't comment on kitchen amenities as we were trying all the fresh seafood, then ice cream, in the area. Good location for exploring Cape Cod. I would recommend!

We loved it, quiet, serene and yet access to anything you’re seeking on the Cape. Super clean space.

The good:
The property was pretty clean and the beds were comfortable. It was quiet and the location was convenient to shopping, restaurants and beaches. We loved the waterfall shower in the downstairs bathroom and appreciated having a Keurig to make our morning coffee!
The not so good:
One of the air conditioners had black mold inside it and the grill was rusty. Some of the linens were stained. The dining table chairs were wobbly and one of them broke sitting down on it.
All things considered, we had a good stay and would return!

We truly enjoyed our time at the Cape. The house was clean, nicely decorated and well equipped with new kitchen appliances. In a nice neighborhood. Only a few issues. Clothes dryer did not work. Upstairs toilet flushing mechanism was tricky. And downstairs dehumidifier had no instructions and would have overflowed had we not discovered that it drained into a closet. We tried reached out to manager and owner but heard nothing. But those things didn’t affect our trip much. Just caused some distraction to our relaxing vacation time.

Our adult aged family loved the cottage. It is roomy. It was nice and clean. We felt comfortable. The only thing is the chairs around the dining table were very wobbly. The legs were loose.
We would rent this space again.

Great location. Nice master bed and bathroom.
Clean and plenty big. Small table for eating meals but adequate.

The place was very clean and was very comfortable. We did have a problem with the locked closet where the washer and dryer was. The combination that we were given did not work . It would also had been nice to have Cable. If we had not brought our connecting cable we would not have been able to watch TV. Maybe have a HDMI to USB-C cable available would help future guests. All in all it was a very nice place to stay and would come back…

After many years of renting on Cape Cod I would say that the many smaller issues with this property match those of more moderately priced rentals, so I will stick to the larger issues…
- The 3 bedrooms have shared walls/floor but poor sound insulation leading to significantly less privacy than usual.
- The kitchen looks decent, but the kitchen refrigerator (serial number: GF 405925) was broken so we had to get by with an inadequte bar/college dorm sized mini fridge located in the living room area. Recommend only buying one meal at a time or you’ll run out of room! A lot like camping.
- When I looked up the VRBO listing again I noticed that two other renters commented on the broken kitchen refrigerator as well. So it looks like Vacasa has known about this issue for some time and has chosen to consciously ignore the problem. I wasted a bunch of my vacation time trying to get Vacasa to fix this before realizing that no fix would ever be made. With all of the extra fees charged with this rental I was surprised by all of the confusion within Vacasa support, but I suppose it is cheaper to tell stories than to actually fix problems. I paid for “Create delicious meals in the fully stocked kitchen, complete with granite countertops and quality stainless steel appliances” and got the run-around instead.
All that said, we did like the location, the house was clean, and the showers were good. So maybe if they used a decent property management company I would be recommending it

- Upon arrival, the refrigerator was not working and no one told us beforehand. We bought a large amount of groceries on the way in, unaware that the fridge was broken. A temporary replacement mini fridge was delivered the second night, however by then all the food we bought on day 1 was already spoiled or spoiling. In addition, the temporary fridge was only big enough for a small amount of food. Consequently had to eat out more than planned.
- Main room window a/c was extremely loud. Because it was in an awkward location above stairs it was only controllable by a remote control that must have been stepped on prior to our arrival as it was held together with medical tape. It also had a dead battery so we couldn’t even adjust it until a new battery was delivered.
- Master bedroom is in the basement near a noisy dehumidifier
- The dryer barely dries. waited an hour for drying and gave up and just airdried our still damp clothes. Owner might want to consider checking the vent duct for blockage.
- The only saving grace to keep this all from going totally sideways was the extremely nice and accommodating handyman. Vacasa also provided some reimbursement for lost/spoiled food and some meals, so that was nice.

Home is cute, perfect for a family of up to 6 people. Biggest issue was the fridge was not functional. We tried calling the support line and prompts told us to text: text response time was an average of 6 hours and not helpful. Only saving grace was a small fridge freezer that I can only assume was there because of the fridge issue. If they can resolve the fridge and response time, then I’d recommend.

It was cleaned and comfortable.

The property from outside appears a run down place. Interior is well maintained with several updates, especially downstairs bedroom and bath room. The linens were dirty with soils and stains on them. The twin beds had very uncomfortable, old, and noisy mattresses.

This house worked really well for our group of 6 family members. The location was convenient and the house was clean & comfortable. The downstairs master bedroom suite is especially nice and spacious. We didn't get much of a chance to use the outdoor space, but appreciated that there was a fire pit that would have been nice for our group at nite. The kitchen was well stocked.

Nice and cozy. Big enough for 6 without a problem. The downstairs master bedroom and bathroom are great. Whole property was wonderful. Would stay again.

A cute little place with enough room for 4-6 people. Very clean and well stocked. Not much of a backyard, however, with all the beaches around, who needs it. Conveniently located within a short ride to any number of places.

We liked the spacious rooms and modern finishes in the bathrooms, however the main master room is in the basement and living quarters felt dark. Would be good for teens and their families, early 20s to rent. Not ideal for families with young children. Very close to beaches which is great plus!

The house was a great location. Quiet neighborhood! House had everything we needed .

The size was just right for four adults and two children. Three bedrooms and the two baths were a must. Everyone in the party loved the shower in the lower level....it was the waterfall showerhead that even the little ones enjoyed.
We made great use of the beach chair...wish there had been two of them.
Plenty of seating around the fire pit.
All was good and every member of the party enjoyed their stay enough ..... to let me know....they want to return in 2023

We loved the house. It was clean and a short drive to the beach. The couches and beds were very comfortable. The linen service was great. Would love to stay here again but it may be difficult for us because we have a dog we like to bring and this property has no dogs policy.

Highs and lows
The house was clean, up to date, and in a quiet residential neighborhood. It was only a short drive to any of the activities we planned to do. The firepit was a nice touch.
The fact that we had to stream on television was a disappointment since we were not able to view current news ( we don't know our way around streaming away from home.) Basic cable should be provided. Fortunately, we had good weather and could do what we planned out of doors.
Note: The outdoor faucet leaks. The plant on the trellis is eating into the brick and cement which will eventually destroy it The firepit area needs more lighting especially on the steps.

Very nice place!
Really enjoyed our stay over April vacation. The house was super clean with fresh paint, updated appliances, and great lighting. The downstairs master suite was spacious with a gorgeous walk-in shower and king sized bed. Dennis Public Market was right down the road and beaches were a short drive away. Would definitely stay there again. I imagine it would be very nice in the summer.

This house had a great location for the mayflower/corporation beach area. Disappointed that a laundry area was not accessible. Turnkey was very accessible for support which was nice.

Family on the Cape
Generally this home was very nice for a family of five. it was clean..had a nice floor plan. The downstairs area was exceptionally nice for a couple. The main drawback was the lack of a washer and dryer. Most homes in this price range do have this ammenity. We did contact the agent on arrival at the home and were told "we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. The home owner does not provide washer and dryer. Should you need anything else, please let us know." Reading through the "check-out" procedure at the end of our week we noted a statement "Please reach out to us if you need access to the washer and dryer." We tried. Significant ant population...unable to resolve before departure. Helpful if some beach chairs/toys available for renters . Could use a larger pot...for lobster. All in all....a very nice home, but definitely needs washer and dryer access.

Nice home
Loved the location and the home was enough space for my family. The upstairs queen size bed was uncomfortable as was the living room furniture.

Yarmouth Cape House
We had a wonderful stay. House, although on the smaller side, was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Location was central for our needs, thus very convenient. We'd definitely rent again.

Disappointed
The location and size of the home were fine for us,
The living room furniture was extremely uncomfortable. It felt as those I was sitting directly on the couch springs.
The kitchen needed more dinner plates. If I recall, there were only five. The pans could use updating because the non- stick coating is scratched. Concerning because that is unhealthy.
The air conditioning could not cool the house. I am thankful it wasn't a hot week.
We were shocked that a washer and dryer were not available to us. I feel like when we made the reservation, the listing stated there was a washer and dryer, but I honestly don't remember. We came from Maryland and tried to keep packing to a minimum.
The Samsung tablet was broken when we arrived. Husband called Turnkey and was told that it would be replaced ASAP. Never received.

Perfect house for a family vacation
After missing last year to travel due to the pandemic, we couldn't wait to get up to Cape Cod for our annual summer trip. Dennis is one of our favorite towns to stay in and this property did not disappoint. Lovely neighborhood and prime location. We were at the Mayflower Beach each evening for beach time and the best sunsets (go after 5 p.m. and you do not have to pay for passes/parking). Mayflower and Bayview beaches are just 2 mi. from the house. We had lunch from Captain Frosty's right down the street, and there is the Dennis Public Market just 1.5 mi from the house which has great salads and breakfast sandwiches to-go. The house from the outside looks deceiving - the inside is very open and roomy. The downstairs has the master suite - modern bedroom and bathroom, and the shower is awesome. You can access the back courtyard directly from the master bedroom. On the main floor there are two bedrooms and one bath which were all clean and kids were comfortable. The kitchen: for those of you that are coffee lovers, they have a Keurig with basic K-Cups. I had brought my own coffee for a standard coffee brew, not Keurig. I ended up buying my own K-Cups while there b/c the brand they provide is very basic. Plenty of paper towels and kitchen had the basics. I would suggest bringing extra dishwasher detergent as only two were provided, and salt and pepper. Living room/dining: set up for a family of five, has smart TV, and working fireplace. Outside: there is a fire pit but we did not have a chance to use it. I would sit outside though in the morning with my coffee as the weather was perfect and there is privacy. Also available is a BBQ but it sits in part of the driveway which we found a little odd. The outside shower is wonderful and well maintained (we've seen some rough looking ones in our day, so this was very nice).
The house is cleaned professionally, all towels and linens are provided, and the bath mats were even sealed in a plastic bag. They provide enough towels for one per person, no extra. A nice touch was providing beach towels.
We would definitely stay here again.

Has potential with a few adjustments!
A nice property that’s good sized with comfy beds. This property has a nice layout with two full baths. Air conditioners in rooms work well, but the one in the main area was difficult to reach without standing on a chair over the stairs, accident waiting to happen. Overall a fairly clean property, but pillowcases were dirty, and the upper bathroom had various bugs. They are chintzy when it comes to the amenities provided. One bath towel per person, with no washer & dryer available, only one hair dryer for two baths. Supplies provided are slim, tiny dish soap, only a couple small packages of dishwasher soap, 1 ply toilet paper, very thin paper towels, no stove top cleaner, etc.
I don’t know if previous renters stole products? But just provide regular sized products, so renters can maintain the house. The house has potential because it’s nice sized and good location. They just need to up their amenities and make sure their cleaning service is on top of things.

Arachnophobics Beware
We liked the house and it was super cute. We thought there would be a washer but there was not, so the towels did start to get musty near the end of the week. We only had 2 sets per person. Also, a lot of the linens and towels had someones hair on them before we even used it. There were also 1 or 2 spiders when we furst arruved, but they multipled tenfold halfway through the week and there were babies all over. We ended up leaving the night before checkout because of all of these things.

It could have been great property if host has provided dryer and laundry. Rest everything was perfect. All amenity was provided

Perfect spot for family
This place was great for our needs—a month of visiting family nearby with my husband working from home and a young toddler. There were little extras to make it safe for baby: baby gate, pack&play, booster seat. The property managers did not tell us there was a dehumidifier that needs to be emptied regularly or it will leak water everywhere, but fortunately we knew what to do. Great location and very nice place.
