We were looking for a quiet place to readjust our family as one of our older children has recently departed for college. We took our 2 teenage boys to this cute, quiet, cottage on the water and really had fun bonding as a family of four. The furnishings are perfect, and the games/activities were on target. The sunsets are priceless. We laughed, rested, slept in, and ventured out - it was exactly as we had hoped. No place is perfect and there were a few little hiccups but nothing significant. We would highly recommend this if you are looking for a nice family time away from the hustle and bustle.

The house was clean and the decor and floorplan were perfect. Beds were cozy and comfy. Central air worked perfectly. Tons of games for our family to play with. The lake was low due to the drought, but my teenage sons figured out a way to walk down to the water where they kayaked and swam. The view of the lake from the house was still beautiful with boaters, jet skiers and kayakers. Beautiful and plentiful birds all around, along
with deer. We saw a spotted fawn sitting under the tree by the hammock. Good
homebase. We swam at Inks Lake
State Park and went to Longhorn Cavern which are nearby. Property customer service was excellent with questions.

This is a beautiful older home. My family and I found this home to be the perfect place for some much needed rest.

Stay away - you’ll hate this place. (Kidding! Just don’t book it when we want it again!)
The house is so warm and comfortable - my family already thinks of it as our “home away from home”, and we’ve only stayed there twice. Amazing location - kayaking in the early morning and the Milky Way at night. It’s not perfect. Nothing is. But it’s perfect for us.

Great home
We really enjoyed the kayaks and being able to go out on the water after our spartan race! Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean!

Nice family spring break
Great house right on the lake for our family of four. Tons (over 40) board games! Close to Inks lake, Marble falls, and Longhorn Caverns.

Family vacation
What a great house and location. This was a short family trip before school starts back up. It was clean and right on the water. We made great use of the kayaks and enjoyed playing some of the board games. We even caught a few fish off the bank.

Great vacation rental
This was a nice house located in a quaint neighborhood with beautiful scenery and deer roaming through the lot. Would update fishing poles as they were a bit neglected. Would highly recommend for a family to get a way at a nice large lake.

Nice little house on the lake
As advertised. Nice little house on the lake. Had everything we needed. Clean and tidy. Will likely rent this place again.

Looks like a great place
We were not able to make it to the property bc my grandfather passed away. The property managers would not allow me to reschedule bc of their cancellation policy. Looks like a great place. We might try to book again but I would only book this as a last minute trip bc of this experience.
