This was our second time staying at this property. We had three families (six adults, 4 kids) and there was plenty of room. The kitchen has everything you'll need and the general store is a 3 min walk away. The house is actually walking distance to everything in June lake. (Even in the winter, though you probably wouldn't, you could walk to June Mountain in 15-20 mins.) This is easily one of the best properties in the area.

My extended family was able to spend 4 days together in this lovely home. The view was wonderful. Lots of bathrooms! Clean and wonderful!

I understand that most houses in JL don’t have AC. This property has all of its windows facing west. It basically rendered the property unusable from 3 pm to 8 pm every day because it was unbearably hot inside (and we’re from Vegas). They had a few $20 box fans, but they didn’t help. We ended up hanging out in the garage during that time. You’re building a $2 million home, spring for some AC.

Wonderful time with family in a beautiful home in a great location. Comfy beds and very responsive owner. Only complaints were the buckling floor but property management company said it was new and they didn’t have time to repair it before our stay. Hot without a/c but they brought us more fans. Tons of moths but it was apparently common due to the amount of water and mosquitos this year

The house was plenty big enough to house our group. We had the necessities we needed, although it would have been nice to have basic spices provided. There were a few minor upkeep items that needed addressed, like light bulbs being out and a loose tile under the kitchen rug caused a few of our party to trip. We enjoyed the decks and being able to walk to town and Gull Lake. Overall a great stay.

It was perfect for our two families. Great location to all the lakes for fishing. We walked to stores!

This is a gorgeous house and we had a wonderful time. I read in the reviews before booking that other guests before us had issues with various things like broken microwave, oven won't turn off, etc. Those things were unfortunately still not fixed when we arrived. While I do know how to heat soup on a stove (see prior reply by owner), we had two babies with us and this made life difficult. The property managers were great and brought us a small portable microwave, which I know they had to do for another guest before us. The microwave should work in a property at this price. The icemaker also does not work, the door to the deck off the family room is nearly impossible to open. We were told by managers that replacements for all the broken blinds are already purchased and will be installed soon. Overall, an excellent house and amazing location. Could use a little love.

This house is even better than advertised. Everything was clean, roomy and walking distance to everything in town and a short 2 min drive to June Mountain.

The property was very well maintained and had great amenities. It's proximity to June lake and other destinations close by (like Mammoth lakes) was a huge convenience.
Would definitely recommend for a stay with family or friends!

The location of this cabin was great. It is walking distance to the village and less than a 5 min drive to the ski resort.
However, the description of this cabin is very misleading. It is being advertised as a luxury cabin, but the furniture, couches, kitchen appliances are very old and far from luxury. The living room couches are so old and very uncomfortable.
The heater in the lower level of the cabin was not working the first night we checked in and had to spend the night at 50 degree weather with young children.
We were there in the middle of a blizzard which made the situation even more complicated. The next morning, very early the manager came in and attempted to fix it. It didn’t work, and for the entire day we had multiple people come in and out of the house to fix the heater situation. They were nice enough to bring multiple portable heaters.. because even the fireplace in the downstairs bedroom was not working. The portable heaters caused the electricity to malfunction, and had to call the office back to come by and fix it- since the electric panel was in a locked closet.
Eventually around 5p the following day the heater was fixed.
When we found out the microwave wasn’t working and called the office, one of the employees we spoke with offered to bring their office microwave- which wasn’t in the best condition but it was working so we agreed- when the manager found out his comment to us was- “ you can live without a microwave “.
Not the type of experience you would expect from renting a “luxury cabin” and paying a premium for it.
Overall the location is great and spacious for a family- we did not have the luxury experience we were paying for.

This is a great location for ski house to rent. The house was big enough to handle 13 ski friends.

This house is in a perfect location. It's a three minute walk to town, and a 2 minute drive to the ski hill. The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. They make the garage available (2 car spots) and there's plenty of parking out front too. Another nice thing is they let us check-in 4-hours early. Overall it's a very comfortable home in June Lake.

Three generations enjoyed a week at this June Lake cabin. The location is gorgeous, close to town, Gull Lake and June Lake, with Silver Lake just a short drive away. We enjoyed hiking the Rush River Trail, kayaking, and boating (both pontoon and flat bottom) on Gull Lake and June Lake. The fishermen in the group caught a bounty of Rainbow Trout which made everyone happy. The house was comfortable, with lots of space and ample room to spread out. The beds were super comfortable and though we had a loud crew (4 young kids) the bedrooms were quiet behind beautiful solid wood doors. On our last day the Firemen’s BBQ Picnic was held at Gull Lake and even though we tried really hard, we didn’t win the cool boat that was raffled off. What a great event for this sweet mountain location. Despite needing some minor repairs/upgrades, we thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house and hope to return next year.

Family stay at June Lake.
Enjoyed our stay in June Lake! We had wonderful times seeing Yosemite, Bridgeport, Bodie state park and Mammoth. However, we found some items that made our stay less than perfect. The frying pans were delapidated; we had to buy new ones to cook with! The master bedroom downstairs did not have working blinds. They were broken and we could not look at the beautiful view. The upstairs living room would get extremely hot, not only from the sun coming through the windows, but due to the fact that the oven would not turn off! We called the management company and they sent out a
Technician to fix the stove top, that also didn’t work, but he could not fix the oven. (Kudos to the management company for sending the tech promptly, but to no avail because he could not find the problem!). The house also had a mice problem, which had everyone on edge!
Being a rental property owner myself I would fix these items before renting again.

Was beautiful
The only thing that was a little disappointing was jet tub jets not working. And oven light would not shut off on bottom oven which made it stay warm. Other then that we had a beautiful memorial for our daughter. Who passed a while back and we released into Tamerak area. This property is a great family rental.
