The amazing view and private pool are the best things about this property. We enjoyed all the wildlife nearby and appreciated the binoculars and telescope. The house has everything one needs and everything was functional, but there were some things we needed to know like the shower faucet being sticky and hard to pull The property manager was always available and responsive. We felt like the house needs an instruction paper with tips because we had to ask the manager a lot of questions. He didn’t seem to mind though. The house is a little dated and poorly decorated, but the view makes up for that. So, we didn’t mind. The road to the house is dirt, rocks and mud and you need an all wheel or 4 wheel drive. Also, the beach club is just a restaurant really. But, the staff is very friendly and the food was very good. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Everything we had hoped for! We were able to watch the toucans flying between trees a short way down the hillside, coatimundis wandered by the pool and heard the howler monkeys in the distance several times. And the road up to it is an experience in itself! Great time, great place! Would definitely rent it again!

Property was nice could have been much cleaner. Bottom of the pool was covered with soot, funny thing was every day we saw a guy on a moter cycle with pool cleaning tools. We lost powere several times once for 24 hours owner does have a generator but runs out of gas after 4 hours. Departed a day early because no electric. The owners ressponse was, thats life in the jungle of costa rica. This was our 5th trip and the first time
we had any issues anywhere we stayed. Almost forgot about the 4 foot snake i killed in the bed room

We had an amazing stay at Villa 26. The villa is relaxing, comfortable, and spacious. Relaxing every night on the patio and watching wildlife was priceless. Area is perfect for any kind of adventure you are looking for. We did several activities and still had a couple left to do if we had more time. Cliff is a great resource and was very helpful, also his restaurant has great food.

Villa 26 is a beautiful property in a magical location. We saw, and heard, so much wildlife we were excited to wake up every day. The property suited our needs except the 3rd bed which is a pullout in the living room. Travelling with two teens (a brother and sister) sharing a room wasn't an option for them until our morning kitchen routine became too much and air-conditioned sleep (only the rooms are air-conditioned) was more important. Luckily we found a mattress so we could make up a bed on the floor in the second room. This worked fine for our needs. All in all it was a great stay! Cliff, the property manager, was always available and accommodating when we needed him and extremely respectful of our privacy. Russ, the owner, answered questions promptly prior to our stay and the instructions for arrival were thorough and helpful. Great place!!

A beautiful place. Amazing view of the ocean and a great pool which in fact is much larger than it appears in the pictures. You can swim in it comfortably. Excellent terrace with a sensational view. The place is very well equipped including kitchen appliances. Very efficient air conditioning in bedrooms. Great contact with the owner, very helpful and courteous property manager. Throughout the stay, Cliff was readily available and responsive to our every request. The house guarantees 100% privacy and is surrounded by wildlife. We spent a wonderful week in this house.

A large comfortable villa with a great pool and an amazing view. Cliff the manager is very reachable by WhatsApp for any questions. If a peaceful stay in the middle of a rain forest surrounded by nature is your wish, then this is the villa for you

Villa 26 is an oasis in the jungle. My hubby and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and wanted to stay somewhere fabulous, private and safe and villa 26 did not disappoint.
The kitchen is fully stocked with high end cookware. We love to cook and the villa had everything we needed. There are plenty of pots and pans, there were containers to put leftovers in, the cutlery is very well stocked and there were even martini glasses! I do not think we ever needed something that was not there for us in plenty.
The beds and pillows are super comfy, which is a bonus as it makes for a great sleep. The view from the bed is breathtaking.
The pool is a great size. It is deep and long enough that you could do short laps if you wanted.
There are fans everywhere, even in the covered areas outside.
The access to the Beach Club is a major bonus. You can park your car there and walk down a short path to a fabulous, almost private beach. You can go for long walks, lay in the sun, play in the waves, whatever your heart desires. The staff at the Beach Club were stellar. The food is amazing. We went for the BBQ on Sunday and had a whole fish and the tuna and they were both delicious. Another table was having the grilled shrimp and if we could have fit it in our bellies we would have tried it as well. We regret not eating there more often. Because we love to cook we did not try the restaurant until near the end of our trip or we would have eaten there more.
Pura Vida!

Great house with a good sized pool . Cliff was very helpful in taking us up to the house he also owns a nice little restaurant near a beach . We brought fish to the restaurant that we caught the day before and the chef did an exellent job of cooking them up . We would go back .

This house is truly nestled in the jungle, with a fantastic, expansive ocean view, and easy access to all the amenities and activities in Uvita and the other nearby communities of Ojochal and Dominical. However, we also found ourselves wanting to stay at the house and enjoy the wildlife (White Face Monkeys, Toucans, Agouti, Coatimundi, etc.) and take in the fabulous views from the covered deck and swiming in the pool. Cliff, the manager, was great, helping us with options for tours and activities. Access to his Beach Club Restaurant was a really great added bonus. All in all an excellent experience and great value for money. We highly recommend staying here and we will be back.
