Enjoy a beautiful four-level retreat backed up to Chugach State Park Land, just two miles from Alyeska Resort Daylodge and one-and-a-half miles from Girdwood Park, Playground & Skate.
Kick back and enjoy the fresh air on the beautiful deck areas, soak your cares away in the huge, brand-new hot tub and the gazebo, or relax inside in front of the gas fireplace. Cabin fans will love the log cabin-style walls and unique hexagon design of this newly remodeled, 1,500-square-foot home. The small, yet cozy bedrooms (including one loft-style room with forest views) provide a lovely retreat.
The third-floor, loft-style primary bedroom has its own private deck and en-suite bathroom. The remaining guest bedrooms are on the first floor with a full guest bathroom as well. The second floor has a full kitchen, which provides the appliances you need to cook tasty meals, a leather sectional, and a TV to relax with after your adventures. The basement level includes leather recliners, a TV, and a stereo. It also has a private washer/dryer and a utility washing sink.
Feel free to light up a fire in the outdoor firepit in the backyard. The sounds of the forest will provide the perfect backdrop as you settle in in one of the comfortable lounge areas and talk about the next day's adventures.
Girdwood borders the northernmost rainforest in the world providing lush green forests in the summer and bountiful snow for great skiing in the winter. A neighborhood trail leads west from behind the house to connect with the Beaver Pond trail. The two-and-a-half-mile-long Beaver Pond trail can be explored in either direction, heading north towards Girdwood town center or south to connect with the bike path to Indian and Bird Creek. Great easy way to explore right from your doorstep!

This was a perfect place for us to stay with our family of five, including three kids. There are a lot of steps since the place has four levels. The kids especially loved the surrounding area of the woods, and we all enjoyed the hot tub. What a treasure!

My family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed the Birdhouse. The house was clean and eclectic and nestled in the woods. The kitchen was fully stocked. The hot tub/ gazebo was beautifully done and hit the spot after adventuring in Alaska. Hope to return again.

The cabin exceeded our expectations! The kitchen was well-equipped, where we made breakfast and even baked birthday cupcakes. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we each had a restful night's sleep.
One of the highlights was the outdoor space that each of us enjoyed. The two separate living areas were a fantastic feature, allowing us to unwind and watch our favorite shows without compromise.
The location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions such as Anchorage, Palmer, and Seward. Girdwood itself is a gem- wonderful restaurants, a local market, and a ski resort with breathtaking views from the tram.
Overall, our stay was superb, and we will certainly recommend this cabin to others seeking a memorable getaway!

Stayed with 2 adult sons while skiing at Alyeska. It's a quick drive to the resort. The 3 separate bedrooms worked great. The hot tub is awesome.
One thing to note is the home covers 4 floors, so it may not be a good fit if stairs are difficult.

Loved this unique cabin in girdwood. The hot tub was perfect and the wood burning stove inside was a literal life saver when power and water went out during a huge snowstorm. Unfortunately our stay got cut short due to the power outage and the storm.

This beautiful cabin is a great location for Anchorage and the Kenai…super clean and comfy…the hot tub is an awesome bonus after an active Alaskan day!! Would absolutely stay here again!!

WOW. We absolutely loved this home! Beautiful setting, beautifully decorated, had everything we needed and more. Comfortable, fun (especially the hot tub at night) and well cared-for. Never saw a neighbor (felt very private / secluded). Easy to get to hiking trails and biking trails and restaurants. Exceeded our (high) expectations. We will be back someday!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and well equiped, and in a good location. The caution I would give would be that if you are elderly or struggle with climbing stairs that you consider someone else, because there are five levels to this cabin/treehouse

Excellent surroundings, nice treehouse feel. Not sound proof. Lots of narrow stairs. Lots of food options nearby. Great lighting. Fire pit AC hot tub were excellent. Lots of natural light but laundry light wasn’t working

Girdwood area was really nice little resort town with great hiking and MTB. We hiked some of the ididarod trail and spent a day at Alyeska bike park. The house was as expected with a great location.

The treehouse was riddled with charm, tucked away on a long driveway. The unique and raised spiraling layout made it a lot of fun for the family. The finishes we very nice and made the exterior rustic feel new. The hot tub was an excellent place to wind down at the end of the day.

Such a unique property. Clean, cozy, well stocked, relaxing and great space for everyone. Fire pit in the evenings was fun. Bike path at end of driveway is a bonus. Will definitely recommend this spot!

Overall we were really happy with this location. Very clean and great use of space. Stocked with everything you needed. Only issue we had was the stove. The burners wouldn't lite without using a lighter.

Wonderful weekend in Girdwood. The cabin is unique and beautiful. Having the hot tub to relax in after a day of snowshoeing or skiing was fantastic. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

My friends and I wanted to checkout the new Nordic Spa, so we rented this lovely cabin just a short drive away. Technically the street address is on Alyeska Highway, but it’s set far enough back that you are in a private wooded area.
Everything was extremely clean and functioned well. We utilized all floors including, the downstairs TV room where all 5 seats of the leather couch recline! I would highly recommend this rental and would not hesitate to book again in the future.

Loved this house. It is a unique log home. The home is welcoming, clean and comfy. Loved the hot tub out back set in the woods. The driveway is well maintain in the winter. The area is fun to explore. We will be back!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the treehouse! They layout is a little funky but as described. It was very clean & had a great, well stocked kitchen. The furniture is comfortable & there are lots of towels & extra blankets. The hot tub is so nice! Would definitely stay again!

Such an idyllic spot to spend Christmas! We especially loved the hot tub, and the festive Christmas decorations made the holiday stay extra special. Appreciated access to a washer and dryer, and the kitchen was nicely appointed with everything we needed to prepare almost all of our meals “at home.” We will definitely stay again!

We loved the hot tub and and outside seating! The big windows were perfect for watching birds. Also loved the nice kitchen pans and ninja coffeemaker! Very comfortable beds and quality linens!!! Would definitely stay here again!!

This cabin was so cute, clean and cozy! The only issue we had were the small bedrooms. Hard to open a suitcase but we made it work! I would recommend, great location .

Wonderful cabin tree house which was well appointed with kitchen appliances and utensils. Had spices cooking oils there too. Highlight was a new jacuzzi spa under a covered gazebo. Very clean throughout the house.
