I wanted a downtown vibe and that’s what this location provided. Very clean! Although, there were a couple minor issues, they were addressed immediately.
3.0 / 5.0
The unit was not only roomy, but also impeccably clean, and decorated with a nice touch. It was located in a great location in downtown Richmond.
Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the inefficient check-in process. We found ourselvesan alternative unit on the morning of our scheduled arrival. The online check-inly failed to process my payment, despite multiple attempts scrambling for system repeated.
The unit is an apartment building, and access is through a security door facing the street using a FOB. The FOB works intermittently. When it does not work, you wait for another tenant to enter the door or go around the block to the back door entrance.
It is corporately owned rather than owned by a private investor. Our usual VRBO rentals with private owners are treated more like hosts and have welcome touches, such as a bottle of wine and, most often, coffee and tea offerings.
If the renters need is to simply stay in a unit that is more hotel like, this will fit the bill. It is a nice unit in a nice location. I am confident the company can correct the FOB problem. Perhaps the payment processing was also not typical.

The flat was centrally located. It was a unique two story build out in an old building. We were greeted at the foyer by a Colo-guard box but it wasn’t really in the way as we dragged our luggage down the. Crazy long hallway in the first floor to our room. The two bedrooms are in second floor and each have a bathroom, one is en-suite. This one has to windows to outside which makes it a bit dark. The second bedroom was nice and had a small window through which I could hear loud thumping music for 2 hours just below as someone had parked there and was partying in their car despite it being private property. The kitchen was large enough to cook a good meal for friends or family but there wasn’t really enough kitchen ware to do that. We liked the centrality of the place even if the area was strangely quiet on a gorgeous Saturday in early June.

Looks nothing like the pics - bed was like cement and gave my colleague back issues. Entry hallway is filthy and we were not able to get in upon arrival - client is furious.

Wonderful apartment, plenty of room for us and located near many things to do!

When we arrived I realized I never got any information on how to check in. I sent a message on the app and waited 10 minutes. Once I didn’t get a response I then called the host twice before making contact. I was told that I was sent the email and to check my junk folder. I had already searched all folders before reaching out. I never got the email beforehand. Then I was told that if I was checking in after 4 I was supposed to let them know ahead of time. Which was on the email so therefore I had no idea. For contactless check in I’ve never had to let a place know when I’d be there. I was quite frustrated at this point. Then the walls are so thin that I had to listen to a drunk man scream and bang on the apartment door next to us for 2 hours before calling the non emergency number to come deal with the situation at 4am. I got 3 hours of sleep the entire night. I get that the other situation was not their fault but it just added to the frustration because I didn’t realize I’d hear literally everything through the walls.

The property overall was fine. Had enough room for us and another couple.
Great location, on a quiet street, in the middle of everything. Lots of good restaurants and bars.
The hallway had a bad animal smell that thankfully didn’t creep in the condo but the condo itself had a weird smell, that never went away.
The walls are tissue paper thin. Be prepared!!!!
We could hear people next door and above us. Trickling water through the pipes and walls all night.
Make sure you bring everything you need!!
Would stay again!!

Very clean boutique apartment near the heart of downtown Richmond. Accessible to everything you’d need.

We loved where we stayed. For our age and being women, we need transportation especially for the night.

Great place to lay your head. That is about it. Felt like a dungeon in there.

This property would have been perfect but beware it was so dusty. I had to pop allergy pills twice a day. My friend who stayed with me had to use her inhaler. This property looks really nice and seems clean but it was so dirty. All of the carpets in every room needed a severe deep cleaning I would’ve just preferred to have no area rugs anywhere because they just looked so dingy. I’m not sure what cleaning service they’re using, but I don’t think they vacuum or dust when they go in there. It’s otherwise a nice space but I would never book it again.

While we were excited about staying in this property/location, specific issues with this apartment were disappointing.
--The walls are paper thin, which allows one to hear conversation/noise from next-door neighbor, and the upstairs neighbor was hammering at 2AM!
--We understand that kitchen supplies in a VRBO will be minimal, but there was not even a hand towel or dishcloth--we bought a towel and left it there.
--There was little to no water pressure in the upstairs bathroom sinks.
--In the bedroom that overlooks the back parking lot, a streetlight shines through the blinds--we had to put a towel over the blinds to block out the light overnight.
This apartment is roomy and has great potential, but it needs some TLC and attention to detail for guests.

This is a nice property, excellently situated in the heart of Richmond. It is in walking distance of everything downtown.
The property is true to the listing, being a comfortable two bedroom apartment with full kitchen and living room areas. We especially like the privacy of the 2 and a half baths. As noted in the listing, the paper products are definitely a "starter set" and need to be refreshed by the rentor.
We found the steps to be a bit steep and possibly not appropriate for older folks. The check-in instructions need to be clearer that the unit door lock does NOT automatically lock, you have to push the lock button (we inadvertently left it unlocked the first day or so)
But on the whole, it was a very nice stay. I would be happy to stay there again.

Place was nice - place as advertised - - A cart to carry luggage and supplies in would be great - - Parking in the area is less than desirable.

We stayed over a long weekend for a wedding in Richmond. This property was a delight. Beautifully decorated, fully functioning kitchen, 2 1/2 baths (which is important when three adult women are getting ready for the same event). Wonderful location close to Perly's Diner for breakfast. Overnight parking in the garage down the block was super affordable ($7 per day). Can't rave enough about this propery. If we find ourselves in Richmond again, I'll definitely book again.

Property is centrally located. Easy access to anywhere in Richmond. Only issue was niebors above walking in heels late at night. Great communication with owners. Would recommend.

Parking garage across the street for convenient overnight parking. Clean and lovely place to stay!

This trip was fairly painless. Check in was easy and aside from the dim lighting, everything was as described. We arrived late and that was no issue for the management company.
The common area before you get to the actual unit being rented does smell of stale cigarettes, but it goes away once inside the unit.
There are a decent number of restaurants within a block or two and even more as you venture out. We made sure to try new ones each night.

Property was clean. Property manager was very helpful and responsive with any questions and concerns.
Will stay again

Such a cute place to stay in Richmond! Very clean and an excellent location for many restaurants, bars, etc. Have to park on the street, but there are many parking garages and lots close by!
5.0 / 5.0
It's a good place to stay and accurately listed. It's a little dim inside compared to the pictures but overall a good place. I didn't like that you can hear all of the running water every time you flush a toilet but it wasn't terrible for a Richmond. Worth the price if you are considering it.
5.0 / 5.0
The location is great! We had an event at the convention center and it was an easy walk from the rental. Many restaurants in walking distance.
We felt there was plenty of linens and towels especially because there's a washer and dryer in the unit.
Everything was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated .
The only thing that would have improved the stay would be if there were two couches and tvs in the bedrooms.
We would stay again!
5.0 / 5.0
Great location, lots of restaurants around in walking distance. Walls are crazy thin-so could hear conversations and a poor barking dog....all night long. Not the property's fault but good to know of if you are light sleeper.
Would totally stay again great location!
5.0 / 5.0
It is clean and very charming. It's an apartment so expect to hear the neighbors every now and then. There is parking across the street.. $7 for 24 hours. There is also 30 day parking available. We needed assistance in getting inside, so we called the property manager whose number was provided to us. We were figuring it out as soon as we called but he was kind enough to explain it to us. Overall it was a nice experience and I would come here again.
4.0 / 5.0
The property was nice, in a central location and the check in process was seamless. Communication with the property manager was more through a third party located in a different state but they responded timely.
The only concern that we had was the overflowing trash in the dumpster and how close the dumpster is to the back door.

The condo is located centrally downtown and was convenient to walk to many locations I was visiting for the week. The space is two stories and the beds were perfect memory foam. I often find vrbos with horrible beds so for me that is one of the biggest highlights.
The house is nice and well decorated. I had to contact the owner and they were very responsive immediately available and local. I really appreciate the care in furniture and art it felt more like my home and I got to enjoy Richmond as if living there.
10/10 beds
10/10 convenient location downtown
10/10 owner communication
10/10 pet friendly (but keep in mind slippery wood stairs for dogs probably need to be carried or wear shoes)
4.0 / 5.0
Overall, a nice day place for a breif stay. Richmon, downtown is on the come-up, this one lace is nestled in what looks to be an old store front that been remodeled into nice living quarters. The entrance/exits into the building are sketchy at best, the front entrance is as blocked by black garbage bags full of rocks, the rear where the dumpsters were located were staacked with garbage overflowing and construction scrap that made it unusable. The unit itself was clean, and looked nice. Not enough towels an linens, it was listed like this, double they amount, guests will appreciate it. Upstairs water pressure was inadequate. Showers trickled, toilets had to be flushed multiple times (no plunger in the unit) after just blowing my nose. All correctable issues and my family survived and enjoyed our stay. Easily a highly rated place with just a few tweaks to the experience.
5.0 / 5.0
Nice apartment downtown near plenty of things to do.
5.0 / 5.0
The place was very clean and nicely decorated. Great location in downtown walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops and vcu campus. Very minimal but if you’re eating out mostly you only need the kitchen for snacks and drinks. Have to do street parking but we always found a spot within a block and there’s a garage across the street. We didn’t bring our pets even tho pet friendly and the place didn’t smell or have signs of pets having been there. It’s in an apt building so a bit of noise from the neighbors upstairs but nothing excessive. Booked again for bball game in February. It’s half the cost of a hotel. Great stay!
1.0 / 5.0
The property was in a fairly good location and had enough room for guests. It was nicely decorated.
The significant issue is that the property stated it slept up to 5 people. It definitely does not. There were two beds, that slept up to two per bed. There was not another place for a 5th person to sleep. There was a small, shallow leather sofa that was not a sofa bed. It was not in any way a place for anyone to sleep on. The other big issue was that there was not enough warm bedding. One bed has only a sheet and a very thin cotton bedspread on it. No spare blankets in a closet. This was unacceptable for sleeping comfortably.

Super low key, easy check-in, in the heart of town, easy access to where we were hanging out!

Great, spacious apartment right in the heart of Richmond. Loved that it was dog-friendly for our little buddy!

Excellent location for easy access
I was very happy with my stay in communication with the property manager was very easy. I couldn't find a wine key - my only suggestion! 😊

Not too bad, a little small downstairs
It was ok, nothing special. There was a nail sticking out by the dining table which needs to be taken out or someone will get hurt. Other than that, the downstairs sitting area was too small for us but would be ok for 1-2 persons. Location was also nit great. Overall it was ok. Just not for us!
