About this cabin rental
Able to sleep up to thirty-eight people, Hemlock Inn resembles a boutique hotel. But this three-story, the eight-bedroom lodge offers far more than your garden-variety inn. As well as a huge kitchen and wraparound decks, it includes two hot tubs, a game room, and a home theater with an 110” screen.
Each of Hemlock Inn’s eight bedrooms has its own bathroom and TV. The top floor consists of four bedrooms. Two include a king-size bed and direct access to the upper deck so that you can enjoy a nightcap in the moonlight before slipping under the covers. Each of the other two upstairs bedrooms has two queen-size bunk beds, enabling up to eight people can sleep in each. These rooms are perfect for the kids in your group. If you’re in town for a tournament at nearby Rocky Top Sports World, the junior athletes can camp out in the bunk beds while the adult chaperones relax in the primary suites.
The main floor’s bedroom features a king-size bed as well, along with a sofa that opens into a queen-size bed—convenient for a family with little ones. This bedroom also boasts an electric fireplace and French doors that open onto a deck; if you’re an early riser, you can head outside without waking the sleepyheads in the other bedrooms.
The remaining three bedrooms are downstairs. Two of these have queen-size beds and doors leading directly to the lower deck; the other bedroom can sleep four people in its two full beds.
If you have additional guests, the three sofas in the two living rooms open into beds for two. And yes, we said two living rooms, both on the main floor. One has a large screen flat-panel TV; the other has a smaller TV but makes up for it with a stone-surround fireplace.
Hemlock Inn has just one dining area, but it’s huge, with an L-shape log-style table that can accommodate a crowd and an island for any overflow. And while there’s also just one kitchen, it has double the appliances—two refrigerator/freezers, oven/stoves, microwaves, even dishwashers—plus loads of cookware and tableware. Everyone will be able to dine together, rather than eating in shifts.
There’s plenty to keep the gang entertained downstairs. The game room is so large, it includes a home theater with cinema-style seating (including cup holders!) and an 110” screen. For those who would rather do than watch, there’s also a full-size pool table, air hockey, and foosball. The game room has its own wet bar too, so you don’t have to run upstairs to grab a cool beverage in the midst of a game.
For utter relaxation, head out to Hemlock Inn’s three covered decks, which encompass more than 1,000 square feet. You have two hot tubs to choose from. One offers more privacy, while the other looks out onto the lush woodlands that surround the lodge. Both, however, are where you’ll want to soothe your weary muscles after a day on the go. You can also revel in the crisp mountain breeze from the decks’ numerous rockers. Bring your morning coffee or juice outside, kick back, and let the wrens and warblers serenade you—what a glorious way to start your day!
Hemlock Inn’s other amenities include free WiFi, cable channels, a washer and dryer, and a park-style grill. And let’s not forget the convenient location. As it’s only ten minutes from Gatlinburg Convention Center and fifteen minutes from LeConte Event Center, the lodge is ideally situated for those in town for meetings or conferences. And with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and downtown Gatlinburg also just ten minutes away, it’s just as convenient if you’re visiting for pleasure. In fact, Hemlock Inn is less than a half-mile from the Gatlinburg Arts & Crafts Loop, an eight-mile trail of more than 100 galleries, studios, and shops.
If you’ve been looking for lodgings to accommodate a crowd, your search is over: Hemlock Inn has everything you need, and more. So book your stay today; your whole group will thank you!

Good location near the main strip with tons of amenities. My family had a great time

We stayed in this house as a group of 24 for a weekend trip, and it was absolutely perfect! There were no complaints, and exclusively high praise about everything from the cleanliness, to the location, to the size. If I could give 6 stars I would!

Our family loved staying at the property. The house was in a beautiful location and close enough to the activities and entertainment in surrounding Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Absolutely perfect property for our family reunion with 30 of us attending!

Maintenance fixed the 3rd floor toilet but couldn’t fix the dishwashers.
No waist can or small table for CPAP in my basement room.
A regular broom for sweeping after meals would be nice.
That’s all I can think of right now.

This property is great for a large family gathering. Our youngest kids loved the theater for watching their movies and the adults enjoyed the hot tubs!

This cabin accommodated our group perfectly. There were some minor repairs that could be done… one of the cabinets in the kitchen was broken and one of the drawers in one of the dressers. The game downstairs didn’t work and there was no mini fridge downstairs as the listing claims. The main floor stayed pretty warm throughout the stay but otherwise was just what we needed. The only complaint we really had that could have been better was the parking situation. This listing sleeps up to 38 and there are only 7 parking spaces.. It’s not very accommodating in that aspect but overall was a great property.

This three-story lodge is a fabulous place! It is well-kept and pretty much stocked with everything we needed for our four families. We really appreciated the bathroom attached to every bedroom. The front door keypad code was the only 4 pm check-in we received via email – – we really appreciated not having to drive to a check-in point other than the lodge. There were parking spots assigned right in front of the lodge. Our visit was May 6-13, 2023, and the trees were leafed out, including the beautiful poplar tulips, and provided great privacy for all three levels of the wraparound porches. Both hot tubs we’re in excellent working order and very clean, as were all kitchen appliances. The only things I would recommend bringing extra would be a large set of mixing bowls and a broom/dust pan. 10 am check out was a simple email/text reply. GPS worked well in the mountains and there was more shopping than our feet could stand. Recommend Food City for nearest groceries. Alamo and Old Mill restaurants were the best! Aquarium is a must see for at least 2 hours — $10 parking garage sort of near Aquarium for all day is cheapest in town because there is nothing less expensive; no free restaurant parking in town, they get $20. Wish we had known! The $9.99 store or Walmart are the best place to buy T-shirts, sweatshirts, and mementos. Grandson loved the trampoline business. Mills Park good for tots. I loved rocking on the second and third story porch looking over the trees! 😎

We had a big family vacation here, it was so big and spacious, and the kids loved the game room and hot tubs! Plenty of space for a large family! The cabin is close to town 6 mins away from the grocery store, 30 mins from the Smokey mountains National Parks, 30 mins from Pigeon Forge. There are a lot of stairs so if you have a disability it may be harder for you to get around, but would recommend staying here!

I hosted a 2 night stay to celebrate the soon to be arrival of a grandchild.
Great size for our large party (20ish). 7 assigned parking spaces. Kitchen well supplied to meet our needs. It was what one would expect from a log cabin in TN. The open floor plan for lounging & dining accommodated the large group sitting together. The theatre area, wrap around decks and multiple bedrooms allowed quiet time as needed. I did arrive to 2 non functioning hot tubs. The site management was easy to contact and one tub was fixed very quickly of course a large tub of water was going to take hours to heat up. The second was not repairable for the weekend. It was not an issue for our group. It does have some wear and tear and could use a good once over to repair and replace loose cabinet doors, slow kitchen drain, non functioning garbage disposal, and a rusty oven roaster. Im not too high strung so I went with the flow. Overall everyone was happy enjoyed the stay and many want to return.

There was a group 30 of us, college athletes, that stayed in this cabin for our winter break and it was an amazing time. Everyone got a bed with no one needing to sleep in common areas which was super nice. It can easily sleep 38 but that includes people sleeping in the main living space on pull out couches. The 9 bathrooms were a great fit for everyone without it being too crowded. When we got there the house was perfectly clean and all of the appliances in the kitchen and in the rest of the house worked perfectly, no problems at all. Hot tubs were a great addition and worked perfectly throughout our stay. Location of the cabin was great, only 5 minutes from a grocery store and then only about 10-15 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and a little bit around 20-25 minutes to Pigeon Forge. Have booked through this group back to back years now and definitely would recommend for anyone with a larger group!

Very nice layout of the home, very large for big groups to all have their own space but I will say…I didn’t realize it was next to a lot of close neighbors and it didn’t have a view. They have a picture with “backyard” in the caption so I was expecting a beautiful view and those photos are not accurate for the view you see. But if you don’t care about the view, the price is definitely worth it.

We had plenty of room. We had trouble with a couple of the bathrooms and maintenance came out and fixed it. They were a little slow but it did get fix. Overall it was great.

This property is great in that it has enough bathrooms for every bedroom, no sharing! The kitchen/ great room space is open and big enough for all to gather and eat together. Theatre room is a great feature. Two hot tubs!
The property needs a refresh. Couches and chairs are sagging, theatre room needs reclining seats or at least some padding on chairs, and kitchen needs restocking. The deck needs a stain and reseal. It’s just tired and in need of a facelift. Some TLC could bring it back to its glory.

This was perfect and precisely what we had been looking for. The place is very spacious and held our large group without ever feeling crowded. (Though if you are in a bedroom below the kitchen, fair warning you may hear footsteps upstairs)
The massive three-level wraparound porches were especially lovely for our mid-October visit, with the woods outside so vibrant.
The property managers make the entire check-in and check-out process so simple and straight forward that I was almost concerned in the days leading up to our stay! They will send you a code for the door on the day of that will activate at the time of check in. Then checking out is as simple as following the link they send!

We rented this cabin for our small family and friends to celebrate our wedding. It was a perfect location and size for our group with room to spare. Every one had their own private space when needed and we had spacious common space as well.

Celebrating our 91 yr old mother/granny/greatgranny
The cabin was just right for the 24 of us. We cooked, ate, played games, sang, laughed and simple enjoyed being with each other. Sidebar, the refrigerators & dishwashers should be replace, the wear and tear of use, has affected them working as efficiently as they should've.

Wonderful Class Trip
This was a great location for our 8th grade class trip. It was roomy, peaceful, convenient, and beautiful. We truly enjoyed every minute of this cabin. The price was excellent for the amount of space you are getting.

Good place for large groups
The place wasn’t as clean as we thought and we had a mouse in our storage closet, we also had a leak from the 3rd floor to 2nd floor but maintenance was quick to come and fix it. It is the perfect cabin for large groups
