About this apartment rental

The Large beautiful suite that is bright with modern decor and great local art. This suite is totally private and separate that encompasses the lower level of a ranch style home. It has a separate key-less entrance, driveway and patio with fire pit. Large yard with old oak trees and mountain views with an easy walk to downtown. Newly remodeled with large king bedroom and large living room with 55 inch TV. *Please note this is a suite and does not have a kitchen but does have a 4.7 cubic ft refrigerator and Keurig K-cup coffee maker.
*WE USE A VOLLARA AIR PURIFIER THAT ELIMINATES VIRUSES AND BACTERIA BETWEEN EACH STAY*

This suite is a quiet, relaxing place to stay close to all of the exciting activities in and near Brevard. It's perfect for any couple. We especially enjoyed the local artwork that is part of the decor.

Very comfortable and well-maintained suite. Yes, the white squirrels are real. We spotted several of the elusive critters sitting on the patio and just looking out the window. Waterfalls are nearby and easily accessible. We strongly recommend this property and its helpful hosts, Bob & Paula

Property was exactly as described. Enjoyed the quiet peaceful setting. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with local recommendations. Loved the robes provided after a nice hot shower. Would definitely recommend for a nice getaway!

Beautifully appointed, clean, and comfortable. Great owners, too. Very quiet neighborhood, but close to town for dining and sight-seeing. We had a great home-away-from-home stay at the White Squirrel Inn!

Bob & Paula have a very clean & comfortable Suite and is very close to downtown Brevard. They take great care of their property and communication was easy. We will stay again when we visit our family in town. Thank you Bob and Paula! Everything was perfect.

This suite is amazing. First of all, Paula and Bob are delightful hosts. I always enjoy meeting the owners and they are super sweet! The suite is squeaky clean, decorated very nicely, very spacious, wonderful amenities (robes, thick towels), and the king size bed is VERY comfortable. I had the best sleep during our stay. We look forward to going back. I highly recommend!

This beautiful suite is spotless, cozy, comfortable and within walking distance of the amazing downtown of Brevard with lovely gift and clothing shops, art galleries, restaurants and more. Our hosts, Bob and Paula couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were in Brevard to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary and this suite and town were the perfect venue.

The White Squirrel Suite was a treasure to find. The hosts are very welcoming and informative. The 'suite' itself is nice and spacious. Everything was nice and clean and fresh. A surplus of towels and pillows are provided and soft terry robes are a very nice touch. The bedroom is much larger than it appears in photos, and the walk-in closet is a nice feature. The living space is large as well, and never did we feel as though we were 'sharing' a space with the hosts or main house. The parking and entrance are private. The neighborhood is very nice, and the property is easy to find. For us, the value and comfort of the Suite is much greater than the affordable price might suggest. Brevard is a great location, for us. We spent every day of our stay doing at least one of the many hikes and outdoor activities the area has to offer. Also, Hendersonville and Asheville are both a short drive away, and have so much to offer: food, shopping, history, etc.

Suite is ground level with parking just a step away! Interior decor filled with contemporary art on walls and creative objects ‘d art around the suite. Modern bath and spic and span fixtures. Host was especially kind and helpful. Back yard is immense and well groomed with beautiful Snow White squirrels hunting acorns in plain sight. No cooking in the suite, but there is a small fridge and microwave. Bring your own Kerig cups for coffee.

This was perfect for us! I felt like I was at home🥰. Our tastes were so alike that I felt like I was sleeping in my own bedroom. After spending most days shopping or hiking/sightseeing we relaxed on the walk out patio watching nature at its finest♥️. Great hosts, even though I didn’t get to meet Paula, we felt welcome and safe. Paula, until we meet next time…….Thank You both!

I Can't say enough good things about our stay in Brevard. This property is perfect for two, in a wonderful location! The White Squirrel Suite turned out to be more that we expected. It is beautiful, private, and complete with white squirrel sightings daily. It is within walking distance to town and not far from amazing hiking areas. The hosts are incredible and we look forward to coming back!!

We wanted to go kayaking at Lake Jocasse, SC...a scenic drive just an hour away...and we love Brevard. We were so fortunate this property became available as we planned this last minute! It was perfect, wtih every consideration given to their guests. Spacious, very clean, plush towels , beautiful backyard including white squirrel appearances, close to town and a great walking neighborhood. Thank you Paula and Bob for sharing your home!

This location is central to everything. Hiking to Gorges, Pisgah, Dupont. Drive to Blue Ridge, Asheville. Brevard itself is a quaint artistic town. Bob and Paula were warm and informative, available if needed, but we're concentious about your privacy. Great back yard to watch white squirrels while drinking morning coffee.

What's not to love about this place! It's in a beautiful neighborhood close to downtown Brevard and an easy drive to the Music Center, College, and Pisgah Forest. The hosts, welcoming and interesting folks, have thought of everything you might need, and the bed and linens are perfect. Thank you, Robert and Paula. We loved being there, enjoyed the patio and the art, and hope to see you again before long.

Excellent. Clean, spacious, wonderfully decorated (kept finding new treasures to look at), beautiful location. Hosts very friendly and helpful, suggesting places to eat and walk, giving detailed orientation to TV system. And Brevard was a wonderful destination for short holiday.

Halloween get-away to Brevard was made even better by our stay here. The whole booking process and communication with the owners was really clear and easy. We met the owner upon arrival and he showed us where to park and other aspects of the place and stay. That was the only time we saw or heard them. The place is very modern and cozy. Extremely quiet and peaceful with a wonderful view of the backyard. The leaves were peak in color and we saw the famous white squirrels. Nice little patio area had two chairs and was covered. It was nice to sit out there and drink coffee in the morning watching the squirrels. The living room was nice to sit for reading and watching TV. The bedroom is huge with a king size bed. Bathroom is clean and the water pressure is great. The white robes were a nice touch on the cold mornings. There is a refrigerator and coffee maker as well as paper plates, utensils, paper towels, coffee and wine glasses. The neighborhood is really quiet and it is a quick drive to downtown and not a bad drive to waterfalls and other areas for hiking and sightseeing. The walk to downtown is about 20 minutes. All sidewalks and well lit. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay. We will definitely be back for our trips to the Brevard Halloween festival. Thanks to Bob and Paula!

Really a nice experience. The Suite is comfortable, very updated, spacious and was super clean. The patio is pleasant and with a large it feels like you are far more remote than you are. The hosts are really nice and I couldn't be happier with this experience. I will definitely be back.

This walk-out basement unit opens up to a very relaxing patio with a beautiful backyard view. The hosts were very friendly and their rental space is attractive, comfortable, and priced competitively. We hope to return there many more times!

We typically do not book a place that we share somebody's house.. These accommodations were outstanding. This is basically a mother in law quarters that is separate from the house. You have a separate entry. The hosts are there when you need them, but invisible otherwise. Do not bother going to town to see a white squirrel.. We saw 2 on the property and none in town at the college.
