If you are looking for a frat house at the beach - this is the place for you! Great location and good amount of space for your family and friends. However, the house is not in good shape- and the photos are not up to date and very misleading. Overall it has a college frat house vibe, stained carpets, bathroom fixtures barely attached to the showers, curtain rods falling from the walls, back deck steps broken and dangerous..... very much in a state of disrepair, but the location is fabulous. It feels like the owner does not want to put any resources in to the property and is willing to rent it as is till they can sell it.

This house is in an excellent location. It is close to most of the action is in Bethany and just a few steps to the beach. There are terrific views of the ocean. With five bedrooms and plenty of parking, we were able to invite lots of family and friends to join us for dinner or to stay. The kitchen is very well stocked with just about anything you might need.
Now to the problems. It appears that not much maintenance has been done on this house for 15 or 20 years.
The exterior paint is peeling and the wood is rotting.
One of the burners on the stovetop doesn’t work.
The lights over the mirrors don’t work in two of the bathrooms.
Several bathroom exhaust fans are noisy and ineffective, which causes the mirrors to get fogged.
The toilet in the master bathroom leaks leaving a puddle on the floor.
Electrical outlets throughout the house don’t have adequate power and many are overloaded.
Two of the lamps in the family work only intermittently.
The on/off switch on the desk lamp is very stiff.
The TV in the master bedroom just clicks, no picture, no sound.
The Wi-Fi specified in house guidance doesn’t work with the provided password.
The door to shower on the back porch locks on its own when someone is inside.
The electrical plug on the vacuum cleaner is missing one of its blades, thus inoperable.
The wall to wall carpet is stained and dirty.

The view and Location to the Ocean are absolutely amazing!!

We thought we rented a lovely house close to the beach with the perfect lower-level bedroom and bath for my 79 yr. old mom who uses a cane and has trouble with steps. Unfortunately, we were at the house for 2 days when her shower would not turn off. We were instructed to turn off the WATER MAIN - NO WATER - until the plumber came. The plumber came the next day and turned off the shower for mom's bathroom. So now, no shower for her is available except the outside shower. In addition, the plumber confirmed that the hot water heater was leaking and rusting out at the bottom. He declared that it needed to be replaced right away and that he would submit a ticket to VACASA. He instructed us to keep the HOT WATER off the entire week until a plumber returned. NO plumber came. NO VACASA manager called to check on us. No LOCAL VACASA manager followed up on the many text submittals and calls. I spent my vacation beach time submitting requests for assistance for this SAFETY HAZARD and am extremely disappointed with the VACASA lack of response. Even upon checkout when I requested to speak with a manager, apparently VACASA Local team was too BUSY to make time to even have a discussion. I was told that the management team was unavailable. No one even attempted to call and ask if a manager would be able to take 5 minutes. It is now 8 days from our original complaint of SAFETY issues on July 4th and I still have not had any communication back from VACASA.

Great location, convenient to the beach, shops, food etc but the unit needs some update and better overall maintenance.

The good: The house was within walking distance to the beach, even with young kids. The house was clean and neat, with enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all. The kitchen was well stocked. I would stay there again.
The not-so-good: the outdoor shower was unusable - very dirty. The house could use a nice coat of paint, but that's a minor issue.

Nice location , rented here for years . Wishing they’d update furniture in tv room though. Kitchen needs better frying pans, large bowls and serving platters
