Great location and privacy

This house is in a nice location near Brevard and overall is a solid place for a family. However, a major issue is that the upstairs AC uses wall units and simply cannot properly cool. We could not sleep upstairs and had to bring mattresses downstairs for kids to sleep on.
4.7
Property was misrepresented by the pictures posted on line. Pictures inside and outside the home were only taken from perfect angles. The upstairs were cooled by inadequate small inefficient window units. The sofa in the living room is torn on the area behind the back cushions. The kitchen had small ants all over the stove and counters on a daily basis. The home had poor light fixtures and lacked electrical outlets.
4.7
Great communication, and a great place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and the house is walkable to downtown Brevard while also being at the edge of places I wanted to go ride my road bike with my friends and family. What a gem!

Clean and comfortable. Surroundings are refreshing and peaceful.

Beautiful setting, close to downtown and was the prefect location for our reunion. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of space. Yonder group was very accommodating to our requests and were quick to respond. Thermostat required a code that was not provided, would have preferred to be able to open windows as the weather was perfect. Plan on trying to stay at Hill Top again!

A girlfriend from high school and I decided pretty last minute to book a getaway equidistant from each other. Fortunately, this property was available and accepted dogs. Everything was exactly as advertised. The house is very spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The yard was great for the dogs and we appreciated that it was not on top of other houses or the street. It was a very quiet neighborhood and a short trip to town. As well, we were very close to other areas we wanted to hike/visit. There were recommendations on the board about places others liked, which we appreciated. And we were the lucky ones to get to see the resident white squirrel. The upstairs rooms both have window units and was a bit warm and took some time to cool off. However, it was still rather warm outside, so I don’t see this as being an issue any other time of the year. The heat is on central, so this wouldn’t affect the colder months. While we didn’t cook at the house, it appeared to have what would be needed. The beds were comfortable. And it was great to have a washer and dryer, which we did use during our stay. Would definitely come stay again!

Charming destination and thoughtful amenities for us. Convenient walk to downtown and local park, very comfortable and relaxing spot.

Walking distance to downtown. Super clean. Super family friendly.

There's a lot to like about this house. The location, number of rooms, and the amount of space you get for the price we paid (~190) is excellent. The bathrooms and kitchen are updated with working appliances. The beds are clean and comfortable, there are two big tables for everyone to gather around, and the WiFi is excellent with fast speeds and good coverage. I think if I was only using it as a base camp for a lot of hiking and mountain biking, it would be perfect.
For our family, though, there were some drawbacks. We have small children and they needed to rest in the evenings. There's plenty of room for them in the house and there are a lot of toys for them to play with, but the televisions didn't work at all for us the entire time we were there. All the Roku TV apps crashed, the DirectTV said the subscription needed to be renewed, and none of our DVDs worked in the DVD player. The porch light also didn't work, so we had to use flashlights when going to and from our cars at night. The dishes and glassware in the cabinets didn't seem all the way clean either, with oily haze and little bits of grime on some of the items, so we had to wash everything before we used it. We found a bag of Doritos with the wine glasses, which is a weird thing to find if the dishes had been cleaned.
No showstoppers, though. We made it all work and had a great vacation. Clean the glassware, fix the porch light, and fix the TVs and it would be a five star from us.

Very nice house in a good, quiet location close to downtown. The house is well equipped with all the necessary amenities for a group or family. Includes an all-season room with driveway access to store your bikes. Our group would definitely stay here again.

The property was well described. We had everything we needed for our annual mtb trip to Brevard. Thank you for a fret experience.

PERFECT location for our U23 athletes during our Brevard Training Camp. Dirt Camp Racing athletes enjoyed riding to the trails, campus, and Earth Mountain Cycles.

Our family spent a lovely weekend in Brevard with our 2dogs hiking, fishing and enjoying the small town charm. Unfortunately we lost a day , hurricane Nicole flooded our yard and home, so we could only leave home once the storm was over and did the basic clean-up and would have loved to stay an extra day but that was not offered. We liked how welcoming, well-equipped and clean the house was. There is no fenced area so could not let dogs out. We would absolutely love to return! Thank you!

Very clean, lots of rooms and great places to relax such as on the enclosed porch, perfect internet, beds and kitchen. Couldn't ask for more

The house was convenient to Brevard. It was well stocked with toys, spices, blankets etc. We found everything that we needed. Bedrooms were spacious. Tv was easy to use as well as the internet.
Our only complaint was that the cleaning crew could do a little bit better job. It looked like the house had been cleaned after the last rental but maybe that reservation was a few weeks ago. We found lots of cobwebs and dust. But the house was generally clean and we would rent again if staying in the area.

We had a bike trip with 7 guys. Place was great. Location was ideal.

We really enjoyed our visit in this house. It was very accommodating for our family and the location was great! We could have used a little more light in the living area besides the overhead light! Overall this was a great house!
4.7
A comfortable, practical house in a lovely garden setting on the edge of town. The kitchen was well stocked (including child-friendly crockery!) and the dining room table was big enough to accommodate 7 of us. The corn hole game in the yard was a lovely touch and we enjoyed the fire pit, playing corn hole, and watching white squirrels and fireflies.
Conveniently located to Pisgah Forest and Sliding Rock, as well as a children's playground 10 mins walk from the house, this was the perfect holiday getaway for families. A great stay!
