This newly renovated and furnished 3-level, 1,600-square-foot condo has all the charm you could want while vacationing in the seaside community of San Clemente. It is also just .3 miles to Calafia State Beach and San Clemente State Park. This home is also only 2 miles from Avenida Del Mar in San Clemente with its wide array of restaurants, cafes, pubs, and shopping for you to enjoy as you breathe in the seaside air and ambience. For an experience that is both cultural and botanical, a short two-and-a-half-mile drive takes you to Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens. Or if you are feeling lucky, Casino San Clemente is less than four miles from this home. And if the kids have come along for the ride, be sure to make the 38-mile journey to Disneyland.

Loved the location and easy access to the beach.

Great house - mostly new feel and the beach location was very good. Had beach towels and chairs for use which was perfect. Was well stocked with basic amenities which was an added bonus. The one small problem (smoke alarm batteries) was quickly addressed by the property manager via text/phone and was resolved.

Great place to stay, walking distance to the beach. Nice town to take a drive to, close to other nice towns, restaurants, and shops. Very clean. Provided Beach chairs, good parking and nice garage space. Could use a few amenities like blankets for the couch, a few more drapery panels for the living room in case you want to close them, spices in the cabinet and a few other small things but overall great place. Would definitely stay again!!

Very clean, kitchen was very well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Easy access to the beach and restaurants. I had two older teenagers and they had a blast. I would recommend this location and definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay here. The place was bright and full of natural light. The rooms were clean. We loved the view of the ocean from the main bedroom! It had a great sunset view. The table on the patio was a wonderful spot to spend time with family. We also loved the gorgeous park just down the street and the easy beach access. The parking was a plus as well! We would definitely stay here again.

Nice place close to San Clemente State park. We were able to walk about a mile along the beach and/or Beach Trail to get to the pier and drive 5-10 minutes to get to restaurants. We initially had some trouble with the door lock due to poor instructions, but the local manager came to assist within 15 minutes and I'm sure they've updated how to lock/unlock by now. Stairs to the second floor were a little narrow and shower in the main bathroom was slow to drain. It was nice having garage parking since street parking was at a premium. I would stay there again if I needed a three bedroom place.

The house is wonderful, so this is kind of a nuanced review. For instance the furniture in the living room is great, but there were too few curtains to cover the big front windows. Why? So weird. And frankly obnoxious. The bathrooms were great. As I said, the place was spotless. Yet there were no dish cloths and only the tiniest container of dish soap imaginable. The beds seemed good but the sheets were cheap polyester. The same with the pillows and the one blanket on each bed. That's right. One blanket. Thin. Polyester. In bedrooms with sparse decoration, basically almost none. Continue that same trend throughout the house. Randomly and meaninglessly cheap. It's too nice of a condo not to appoint it well. It should be better.
On the other hand, the garage is great. The kitchen was nice. The views were spectacular. Not sure though whether we would rent from these guys again.

The condo was perfect for our group of five. It was easy walking distance to the beach, and a short drive to Dana Point. It had nice peekaboo ocean-views from the primary bedroom, and was very clean and spacious. Good communication with Vacasa host throughout our stay. Would definitely come back!

What an amazing house! We really enjoyed our stay in San Clemente because this was such a great house to call our temporary home base. Very clean! Kitchen was updated and had all equipment needed to make a meal. It was only 9 miles from Camp Pendleton entrance and allowed us quick travel to see our son who is in Marine training. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful home!

Very clean and comfortable. Close to wedding venue. Beautiful sunset views from the master bedroom. Included all the amenities we needed for our 3 night stay. Garage and parking space is a plus. Walking distance to the beach. Would stay again!!

We stayed in this house for a week while visiting San Clemente family. It was great! Super modern, clean, comfy beds, basically everything we needed for a perfect stay. My only complaint was there wasn’t any hand soap by the sinks, so we had to buy some our first night and also there isn’t anything to bring to the beach (chairs, umbrella, beach toys, etc.) We didn’t have trouble borrowing these things. but if they were already there we would have loved it. Amazing rental-don’t hesitate to book!!

Nice place. Clean, comfortable, and nice location. Nice unit with a spacious, open floor plan on the first floor. Ceiling fans and comfortable beds in each bedroom made sleeping easy. The street is pretty private and quiet, and it’s a short walk to a great beach. We would definitely rent here again and will recommend to friends.

Great Stay with Great Access
We are Southern Californians that have lived in NC for the past 30 years. We loved the condo, the location to Calafia beach and the amenities. The views were picturesque and the condo was a great set-up! The only reason this was not 5 stars is just the need for better communication on using the space. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice Beach Location
This was a beautifully appointed property. It had a lovely deck and hot tub. There are only three bedrooms so don't bring more than three people or couples. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived and they only left us two dishwashing detergent tablets which made it a little difficult for people that cook.

The house is about 5 or so minute walk to the ocean. Beach is quiet. Amazing sunsets. Unfortunately I couldn’t hear the ocean from the house which was something to which I was looking forward to. Can just see the ocean a bit. House itself is very nice. Lots of plates and cooking utensils. Minor complaint with the lack of Kleenex or napkins which most rentals include. No tv in two of the three bedrooms. If I was renting again, I’d consider this house but would try to get one a touch closer to the ocean just for the sound and view

Renter Beware
I wish I could rate this better as the place is very nice and in a great location. The reason for the poor rating is that we never felt comfortable here. The moment you walk into the townhouse, there is a bright red sign that says "We don't want to evict you but we will", I mean what a way to start a vacation right!
Then, the day after we check in, I receive a rather nasty email again stating we don't want to evict you but we will along with multiple items from the rental agreement listed out, i.e. noise policy, number of guest policy, etc. So apparently they received a complaint about us the night before, which I had to laugh since there were only 3 of us there the first night and 2 stayed inside to watch a movie and I sat outside for a while enjoying a drink. There was no noise from our unit. There was however a wedding party right next door to our unit and while they were having a good time and making some noise, it was not a bother to us. So instead of reaching out to me to say there was a complaint and i could explain my story, they just blast off a very inappropriate email to again make you get that really cozy feeling from the management company.
Basically ruined the reminder of our stay while we were in the house because the group was worried we would be kicked out.
If you breath, you may want to rethink staying here because they don't want to evict you but they will.

San Clemente paradise
What a great stay. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The master even has an ocean view to watch the sunset. Calafia beach was an easy five-minute walk away. The space was full of light. We ate in three nights and even the knives were sharp! Parking was a little tricky but I really couldn't recommend this place more highly.

Five day family vacation near the beach. Loved it - was not long enough! We could have stayed for weeks. The place was clean and beautiful and we want to go back soon!

Lovely spot, a few minor issues for improvement
The space was beautiful, clean, and walking distance to beautiful beach overlook with stairs to beach and trail.
A few issues the property managers could improve:
1) Need to add a wifi splitter. The wifi was very weak in upper bedrooms, and because several of us were remote working, this was a problem. When one person needed to have confidential meetings, the rest of us had to leave the condo.
2) Need to get fitted sheets that are the proper size for the beds. The unfitted bottom sheets were too small and would pull loose every night. When lots of people have slept in a bed, you don’t want to wake up with your face on the mattress cover.
3) The property management company didn’t respond to messages through VRBO app or return a voicemail I’d left a few days before when I hadn’t received check in instructions.
4) Need to be more clear with tenants about parking spaces. A couple times we weren’t able to park in our designated spot in driveway because other renters had parked there. The property management co was not helpful with this.
5) It would help to have a few kitchen essentials like olive oil, sugar, condiments. There was literally nothing but a salt and pepper shaker.

Location and amenities are superb!
VRBO rentals never disappoint. The condo is very comfortable with the living space on the 1st floor and bedrooms up. The kitchen has everything you need. It is truly a 5 minute walk to the beach and the pathway to the pier.

Beautiful Experience
Honestly...one of the cleanest places my family and I have stayed at. Everything was perfect...only thing missing was additional bedding or blanket. We will definitely stay here again!
