We had 10 people ages 2-84 stay at Life’s Too Shore for a beach week reunion. The home was perfect for us with separate bathrooms for each bedroom, two sitting areas, an elevator and a pool. Great view over the top of the houses across the street on the oceanfront. Elevator made it easy for the 80+ year old and the toddlers to navigate from ground level to the 3rd floor. The small pool was great for the kids and the public beach access was less than a block walk/golf cart ride.
The kitchen is well-equipped, although there was no Keurig, despite one shown in the photos. Nice grill on the ground floor as well. Highly recommend!

Great property very clean and everyone enjoyed this family vacation.

The owner needs to spend time in this house!!! And understand how the elevator malfunctions!!!! And get it fixed Very disheartening It was a family reunion. We had elderly people in the house. That could not do steps. This was a huge inconvenience!!!!!

We loved this house! It was hard to leave. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, there were plenty of sheets, blankets, and towels. The kitchen was well-stocked. The pool is small but the kids loved it and we’re glad we had it heated. The layout of the house is great with bedrooms spread out and the upper level with kitchen/family room/big deck was so nice. The houses across the street are low so you really do have an awesome ocean view. Beach access spots are close. All good!

We stayed here with 8 family members all 20+ years old. The house was lovely for the price with all of us having our own bedrooms and full bathrooms. One family member is disabled so the working elevator was a must and it had very few issues. Make sure to read the elevator guidelines as you can easily have user errors. The property had a few issues with bugs but the property manager and maintenance were quick to assist. Big shoutout to Travis for coming out twice, once on Christmas Eve, to help us out with beeping/alarming smoke detectors. Some of the amenities are outdated like the pots/pans, movies (VCR!), and the griddle. The griddle is almost not usable so don't count on it. The heating coils have clearly burned through to the cooktop.
The listing states all bedrooms have access to an outside balcony or porch, but the 1st floor front room does not. Technically you can get outside but not from inside the room. All other rooms have a door that go outside. The 2nd floor balconies/porches do not have stairs down to the first floor. The first floor back porch connects to both first floor bedrooms on the back of the house and have a gated staircase down to the pool area, which is also gated to the carport area.
Overall we would stay here again. For the price and the space we had plus the elevator, it was ideal for our families.

My family enjoyed staying at this house…everyone had a bedroom and a bathroom so that was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some.
The location was great and the view was perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

Loved everything about this property. Location was perfect. Had every amenity necessary. Will definitely be back!

The house has a lot of potential. There is plenty of space for our family. Every bedroom has a bathroom which makes is nice. The view is wonderful. The kitchen is stocked. It’s a close walk to the beach.
Now for what went wrong: The electronic lock was broke, we ended up using one key all week, thankfully there was a lock box. The 1st floor didn’t appear cleaned, sand all over floor. The bedspreads were dirty & smelled. The pool turned bathings suits & naturally blonde hair green. There was a dark green ring around the pool that could be cleaned if kept up. Vines growing around pool & in chairs. Towels would get very dirty. I received 1/2 of the cleaning fee back which I should have since I had to clean BEFORE we began our vacation.
Again, this house would be very nice if kept up as the pictures show & cleaned as should be.

Home was dirty upon arrival. Found dog poop under a bed. Dirty diaper in stairwell.
Elevator did not work.
Very frustrating for a brief vacation.
4.3
Great home with lots of space and amazing views. Owners were easy to get in touch with and ask questions about home. Elevator and heated pool is amazing!!

This house would have gotten a 5 had the elevator worked. Vacasa gave great service to try and have it fixed, but a part was needed. We were compensated for the inconvenience. I would definitely rent the house again for the closeness to the beach, cleanliness, and all that was supplied. Such a cute house. Great rental agency also that was on top of all our questions ( and we did keep them busy! haha). Thanks Vacasa!

An Outstanding Beach Retreat to Remember...
We have a growing family of 6 adults and 1 1/2 children and 1 noble dog. Our customary vacation of timesharing did not provide enough room for all of us to share a central living area and separate bed and bathrooms anymore. This house provided all of that and more. The bedrooms had wonderful mattresses...absolutely no complaints. The house was maintained beautifully and in very good condition. There were TVs in every bedroom and in both living rooms, but honestly we hardly used them, because the balcony was our favorite spot. The balcony views of the ocean were worth the entire cost. The top floor balcony had a partial covered area and an unsheltered area, with furniture to relax on. Again...perfect. We spent our week at the beach (less than a 5 minute walk) and checking out the areas around us. There were just enough things to do without being an overwhelmingly touristy area like Myrtle Bch, but still providing us a break from the beach and sun. Our entire family gave a hearty thumbs up. We love the laid back feel of Ocean Isles Beach!
Now for the nuts and bolts of the stay...
There were sheets, quilts, pillows, and limited though sufficient towels. Bring your own if you like more than 2 sets per bedroom. Also bring your own hand/shower soap, toilet paper, paper towels. The amount of kitchen gadgets (garlic press, peelers, etc) were amazing. I can only surmise people purchase and leave them. There is a coffee maker that uses basket type filters, but also can fit keurig type pods (didn't use that part). There are tons of plates, glasses, cups, bowls, forks spoons, knives. What there isn't is pots, pans and skillets that I would call useable. There were a couple pieces, but the Teflon was so scratched I wouldn't use them. (In fairness, renters are probably not very gentle on these items, but quality was still limited). Fortunately, my kids hadn't left their homes and I had them bring us some. I did call the management company and they said replacements would be brought, but they never came. I would definitely suggest you bring at least a skillet and large pot if you plan to cook. All the appliances worked fine...oven, stove toaster, coffee maker, fridge, microwave. The 4 burner Weber grill worked beautifully.
We did request a heated pool as we were here in early May. Because I had seen previous reviews that had issues with pool heating, the first thing we did was check the heated pool. As previously reported it was not heated. We called it in, and the pool people did come, but still no heat. Vacasa refunded our money immediately when requested. We did brave the pool anyway and it wasn't too cold for our 3 year old granddaughter. There were lounges and chairs. There were no pool toys or beach equipment to use, so bring your own.
Without hesitation we would rent this house again. The owners maintain it beautifully. An added bonus... there is a telescope in the upper living room, and we were there during the lunar eclipse. Thank you to the owners, we enjoyed it immensely!

We picked this property because it had several main items we needed - elevator for my 89 year old father, a full size bed in all rooms with en suite baths, accepted dogs and had a pool that could be heated for an extra fee. The house was beautiful, the location and views were excellent. However, we did not check the pool heat until the following day (Sunday), no heat. When I called Vacasa, the mgmt co. they said they would have someone there first thing Monday morning. They did not show until around 1 pm and stated would take 12-24 hours for it to heat. There also was no phone call or notification back to us to let us know that they had even taken care of the problem. By the time it heated up on Tuesday half of our family members were leaving to go home. We enjoyed it on Wednesday, Thursday it rained. Our last full day, Friday, we planned on spending at the pool but for some reason it was no longer heated. When I called they stated they would put in a ticket for service - very frustrating. We did not get to enjoy the last day as planned and there again was no communication back to us from Vacasa. I am still waiting to see if they reimburse the full amount for the pool heat.
All that being said, the house and location were sooo nice that I would definitely rent it again. Just wish there was better communication
