Close to civilization, but quiet and relaxed enough that you wouldn't know it.

Cute little place! Very clean, close to town. Highly recommended

Enjoyed our visit

Adorable little place, well represented by online photos. Incredible experience waking up to elk in the back field. Only downfall seen is privacy if we had ended up using second bedroom. With no door separating rooms and sharing a bathroom. However it was just us so it was not an issue. Would stay there again!

Nice place off the beaten path however has some issues that need repairs. I would stay there again tho regardless

It was a very nice little place and perfect weekend getaway thank you and hopefully we will come again

Clean, great little spot.

safe , clean home....we enjoyed our stay...

Great stay! Very clean and comfy. The kitchen was well stocked, and the hot tub and “fire pit” were enjoyable. Excellent location!

This place is super convenient to i40, Waynesville and Maggie Valley. I loved having a full kitchen to work with while we stayed. All the appliances are great and you can cook with GAS! There are plates and dishes too as well as extra towels etc in the linen closet. The only thing I'd say to future guests is to wear slippers in the winter. It gets cold under the house which makes the floors super cold. Hopefully, you have a tight family because the second bedroom is connected to the main bedroom with a curtain! This house is good for maybe 2-3 people maybe even 2 adults and 2 kids but it will be cozy for sure. I'd also caution bringing a trailer in the little neighborhood. It has a tight loop to pull through - which not impossible but I would hate it if a future guest had an RV and a flat-tow Car to pull in there. I don't think they'd make it. I'd stay here again if we come back up for sure. Thanks Carroll for letting us book your place!

Nice small property for a weekend getaway.

Such a great stay. The location was easy to get to. No big hills or mountains to climb. Came in during a snow flurry and left a beautiful sight in the morning.

Good little house. Big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids for a weekend. Had everything we needed. Very clean.

Very clean and cozy. Hot tub was ideal after skiing the slopes to soothe the aches. Will do again

Our family really enjoyed this property. It was GREAT and had everything we needed!

Convenient and quiet location. Loved the hot tub!

We finally timed it right for the leaves changing and they were breath taking. Also the elk came out just a block down the road. Only faults I found with our stay was the bathroom floor did not feel stable and with me having back problems there was not a comfortable chair to sit on. Other than that it was fantastic.

The property was clean and well stocked. Views and weather were amazing. Quiet neighborhood with Elk in view. Place could use a bit of upkeep but definitely not a bad stay. The are that needs the most work is the soft bathroom floor. I am a big person and nearly put my foot through the soft area. Otherwise a little paint here and there to cover water damage and a bit more lighting. We may stay again.

Really enjoyed the cottage! Maggie Valley is a wonderful place! We will be back!

It was very nice, clean and in a great area and affordable price.

We loved the little bungalow and the location and neighbors were awesome. Last minute trip and Carol was the epitome of a gracious host. Would definitely recommend.

Great cabin in the mountains. Place was very clean and easy to navigate around. The beds were perfect for everyone on our trip. The grill and fire pit was an absolute treat to sit at, at night. The hot tub was very relaxing and very clean. I recommend staying at this location. The keypad entry to the property is easy to use. After my visit. It inspired me to get one for my home, it just so nice to have a keypad entry system.

We had an amazing anniversary weekend! The hot tub is waaay over chlorinated, so it's hard to enjoy for more than a few mins at a time. Location is easy to find and check in was effortless. We'll definitely be back.

The location was good for us. The unit was clean and just small enough for 2. It does not have central air though. It had a floor unit in the kitchen that kept it nice and cool. The hottub was overly chlorinated and unbearable to sit in so we only used it for about 5 minutes at her. Overall its a nice place in a nice area.

Cute and cozy tiny house. Parking was a bit tight. Overall, it was a nice stay and great location!

The third time staying at his property. Had a great time and saw 4 Elk approximately 100 yards behind the bungalow in an open meadow. Very quiet neighborhood. Planning on staying at the second listed property in September.
4.7
Place was very convenient and the neighborhood very quiet. Home was very clean & comfy. Beds were great! Loved the hot tub after a day of riding the Cherohala Pkwy, Blue Ridge Mntn Pkwy and all the other great places. Thank you for the hospitality!

Enjoyed our stay immensely! The Bungelow was very clean, cozy, everything was there that you needed. The only issue I had is when I was in shower and in 3 mins their was no more hot water, I saw in previous reviews that happened to someone else, there where only 2 of us, so we didn’t use much water? We ate out our meals.
4.7
Location was perfect, neighborhood was quiet, and the place had everything you would need. Having a hot tub to go in after hiking was awesome!

Very nice, quiet, and relaxing weekend. Properly was very close to town in a small neighborhood. Location was convenient. We had everything we needed. Husband was a little upset because I took all the hot water😂 Hot water heater must be small. Neighborhood was very quiet.

For 2, this adequate & enjoyable cottage. Had our other guest showed up it would have been too small. Doorways & paths are 24-27 in. Wide & not recommended for anyone with even minor mobility issues. This should be noted in description. Minor electrocal issues previously reported to the Mgr. We had a great stay but not sure we are repeat customers for this prooerty

This is a very comfortable place to stay, the location was very good to downtown Maggie Valley, the Blue Ridge Parkway and gorgeous mountain views. Elk walking through town was an added bonus.
4.7
This place was great! Very biker friendly! Nice carport to park the bike! Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the hot tub after riding in the cold all day. The location is great for the times we just wanted to take a walk. We were able to walk to several restaurants, shops and stores on Soco highway. The bungalow was cozy and well equipped. Thanks for a great getaway!

First impression was great, but the heating / air unit did not heat. It only blew cold air. Just happy their was only two nights we needed it. It definitely needs to be fixed .
4.7
Very nice get away. Thank you.

Second trip, our son-in-law and daughter came along. We enjoy Maggie Valley and the small, but comfortable bungalow. Very clean and very comfortable in a nice little neighborhood. We hope to return before the year is out.
