Nicht schön

Die Räumlichkeit, die Lage.

Ich wusste nicht das Zimmer hätte keine eigene Toilette. Die einzige Toilette war ein Etage tiefer, schmutzig, ohne Seife, ohne Klopapier. Licht Schalter im Wohnzimmer kaputt. Man sollte das Bett selbst beziehen.

I don’t want to go back here.

The location is ok. It only takes around 1 km to the downtown. You can park on street. They leave the clean bedding set on the bed.

This is the first hostel that I need to put the clean bedding set on. No trash bin.

Übernachtung abgebrochen...

Die Lage ist eigentlich gut und es gibt Parkraum in der Nähe. Ansonsten bleibt eigentlich nichts, außer dem grundsätzlich günstigen Preis.

Was für eine Bruchbude. Tür lässt sich von innen nicht verschließen (lange versucht). Das Fenster fällt aus dem Rahmen beim Öffnen. Nur ein Handtuch im Zimmer, keine sichtbare Heizung, aber extrem warm. Die Tür war irgendwie mit einem selbstgebauten Rahmen versehen. Der Fußboden ist dreckig und wellig. Es liegen Socken von einem Vorbewohner unter dem Bett. Der Schrank fällt beim Ansehen auseinander. Bin wieder abgereist. Auch wenn es nur ein Hostel ist, nicht akzeptabel.

Nie wieder!

Die Lage und die Aussicht waren sehr schön. Der Weg in die Innenstadt war kurz.

Fehlendes Bettzeug bei Anreise. Auf Nachfrage gab es zunächst keine Antwort. Das Bad auf dem Gang hatte einen Wasserschaden und war nicht nutzbar. Darüber keine Info vom Verwalter. Im anderen Bad funktionierte die Warm/Kaltwasserregler nicht. Schlechter Allgemeinzustand des Hauses. In der Küche und auf den Fluren hat es gestunken. Schade um das schöne Haus.

Still better than sleeping in the street

Good location is the only bonus of the place.

It was a disaster. 1. The room was a complete mess: torn mattress covers, stained walls in cracks, furniture with scuffs and traces of use (for example, the seat cushions of the chairs were not screwed to the base). the overhead lighting in the bedroom did not work and the bedside lamps did not work reliably. the icing on the cake was the cobwebs above my bed. 2. The Wi-Fi was working. Without internet connection. 3. My friend’s bedsheet was covered in some sort of fur. 4. The room didn't lock from the inside so we slept with the door unlocked which felt unsafe. 5. In general the room didn’t match the photos on booking.com 6. The biggest issue is that there was no one from the staff in the hostel to talk to. They didn’t answer the phone calls as well.

Bad experience

The building Architecture from the outside

I would like to report my bad experience during my stay at this facility. Unfortunately, there were several problems that greatly affected my stay. Firstly, I had to wait over an hour to receive the room key from the staff. Additionally, upon arrival, the room was not ready. I was informed by the staff that the cleaner was absent that day, resulting in a delayed cleaning of the bathroom and changing of the bed linen. This took a significant amount of time and made me feel very uncomfortable. As a result of these circumstances, I spent most of my time outside the building to avoid the chaos and only returned around 8pm. Consequently, I was unable to fully enjoy my stay. I must admit that I am extremely disappointed with this experience.

It was like a place of refuge. The floor of the room looks like it has not been cleaned for a year. The bad smell of dead fish could be smelled everywhere in the hotel. The rooms did not match the room that was booked. In general, as I said, it was not a hotel, it looked more like a place for the homeless. All night I could not sleep, because there was no feeling of security. All the doors were completely open and without security.

It was very dirty. It had a very bad smell. The staff was very uneducated, insulting the customers. The bathroom was at the end of the corridor, you needed an urban station to go to the bathroom. The kitchen was on the other side of the hotel. The floorboards made noise every time you walked. I would never go there. I do NOT suggest you go there. To attract customers, the price was a little cheaper, but I would never go there again. I don't suggest you go there. It was the worst place I have ever seen in my life.

Wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. Over priced and under preformed.

Lack of staff, some staining on the beds/mattresses, sinfle beds were broken, balcony didn't feel particularly study, curtains missing so unable to have a dark room to sleep in, coffe machine wasn't working, no kettle to use to make a hot drink. Did not see one staff member to address issues with. TV didn't work, no city view as advertised with room booking, no on-site parking as advertised. Great location but not worth the money and lacking significantly in many areas.

It was an horrible experiance.

The stuff wanted to convince my that i had to sign an agreement that i am on a buisness Trip, even though the Booking didn't say anything. They said something about Corona regulations which were none during my stay. (Verified with City Authorities). Don't believe them and get the authorities Involved. The Text on Booking clearly states that those rules only apply during times with Covid-19 travel restrictions. So they can't deny you your stay, or force you to sign it which is not legal.

Exceptional

I really enjoyed sitting beside the entrance door in the comfortable seat! The room setting (fairy tale) was original. I'm therefore the more curious, how do the other rooms in accordance with other topics look like...

The check-in procedure was quite weird and I would also appreciate a less noisy building, but given the price it was OK.

The room and the location was great. The hostel was very peaceful and quiet. It was pretty cheap as well.

There was no cycle parking. There were absolutely no facilities such as the 'grill' and bbq as mentioned was not working. Biggest complaint is that during my entire stay not a single member of the staff was in the hostel. The reception where one checks in was locked. The first time we called the number, the person on the other end cut the call. The second time, he just told us our room number on call. The person could not speak English very well. The lack of staff anywhere in the hostel was inconvenient.

Refrigerator full of rodden food. Pillow and blanket very stained. No toilet paper. Door had wrong key. New key was very very tricky to use. Had to try many times before the door could be locked. Door handle broken. Very noisy. All doors slam shut with a lot of noise.

Location is very close to banhof. Nice and quiet residential area

There was no hot water in shower. Only this part was negative specially in this cold weather.

Location, easy walk to the sites in the Altstadt

The room I reserved was not available so I was given a different room. This was not a problem until management called me two days later asking for the key back because another guest reserved the room. I was out of town and told him I my reservation was for another evening, which he confirmed. The room was very drafty.

Passable & cheap accommodation on your Goslar trip.

I like it that it is a private room. Cheapest on price. Near to train station & attaractions.
