About this house rental
Welcome to Beachy Keen, a 7 bedroom OCEANFRONT 1/2 duplex with over 2200 square feet of living space – perfect for your family getaway or a great place to “work from home” with spectacular views of the emerald water and white sand beaches. The main (3rd) level of this beautiful home has an open dining/living area, and the fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. You also have 2 bedrooms on this level, each with full sized beds. The oceanfront master is on the 2nd floor, complete with a king sized bed and full ensuite, as well as a walkout deck. This floor has 2 additional bedrooms, with one full and 2 twin beds and a shared bath. The 1st floor contains a 2nd oceanfront master with a king bed and ensuite bath, as well as a 7th bedroom with 2 twin beds. Beachy Keen has wifi and ROKU enabled TVs in the main living area and 6 of the 7 bedrooms.
You can enjoy the ocean views and breezes from the brand new 3 story deck – perfectly suited for sunbathing or lounging while waiting for the occasional dolphin to swim by. You can play in the sand or swim in the ocean on the wide spacious beach that is only steps from the back door. Beachy Keen is private with its own separate walkway to the beach – not shared with the other half of the duplex. After your day at the beach you can cleanup in the hot/cold enclosed outdoor shower.
Beachy Keen is located in the private, family-friendly Spinnaker’s Reach neighborhood, and guests will enjoy access to the community pool and toddler playground that is only steps away from the end of the driveway. Spinnaker’s Reach also has sound-side access for guests, great for pier fishing and wildlife viewing.
In addition, Beachy Keen has a second refrigerator in the garage to help with grocery overflow, and a gas grill for the outdoor cooks.
Beachy Keen rents by the week (Sunday to Sunday) from Memorial Day to Labor Day. For the months of October through April a minimum stay of three nights is required. May and September have a 4 day minimum. A full linen service is included, and beds will be made and ready for you to enjoy.

This was one of the best stays I've had. This property is beautiful. Justin is extremely welcoming and made sure we all felt at home and comfortable during our stay. We had one baby, 1 toddler, and 8 adults with room to spare.

The house was exactly as described on VRBO. Close, private access to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet. Short walk to the pool for those who don't enjoy the beach. Justin was very accomodating and responded quickly when an issue occurred.

This beautiful, super clean, spacious ocean front property was perfect for our annual family retreat. We loved watching the sunrise from the upper deck each morning, and having both elderly and young children in our party, the private boardwalk to the beach made for such easy access for snacks, restroom breaks, etc. Justin kept tabs to make sure we were enjoying our stay and was a pleasure to book with. Can’t recommend Beachy Keen enough!

This home is beautiful, well maintained and a slice of paradise that you shouldn't miss. The owner is very communicative, helpful, kind and the oceanfront views are outstanding! We stayed here many years ago under a different name. It’s clear the current owners have done a lot of re-furnishing as well as adding an additional bedroom which made it perfect for our gang. Only the Wi-fi and internet connection was disappointing. We’ll probably go again next year!

This home was everything we could have asked for...oceanfront in a great location, beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, and a host who was very easy to work with. Having the pool right across the street was so convenient for our little ones. Kitchen supplies were plentiful, and having an extra fridge in the garage was a lifesaver. Key code access is a real plus as well. Justin and his family have thought of everything for their guests, and we would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful vacation at this property, it was super clean, spacious, well decorated, and supplied with many household items. The access to the beach was wonderful for our large family with several small children, just steps from the house. Highly recommended and just a wonderful home in an excellent location. It doesn’t get any better.

We had 5 adults and 3 teens- extended family. The beachfront location and view was perfect and everyone enjoyed themselves. The kitchen was well stocked and the rooms and bathrooms were pristine. We did not use the community pool but it was right across the street as mentioned in the home description.

Lots of room for 10 people. The deck at night was great fun. Fabulous meals cooked up in the kitchen and served on the dining room table were 5 star status. The beach was beautiful with waves to challenge grown men. We needed the one day of rain. Loved every minute

Overall a beautiful house and a great week. The owner checked on us a time or two throughout the week and was always fast to respond to any questions throughout the renting process. Beautiful house and pretty beach. The only negatives (and small negatives) is that they were no covered porches and anything you had on a porch whether it was first second or third level got soaked in the rain. There also isn’t enough silverware in the kitchen but these were both minor details. The only complaint I would have is that there’s only enough room for four cars and it’s a seven bedroom house. Just not enough parking for seven bedroom house. But don’t let these minor things bother you. This is a beautiful house and a great location with a swimming pool in the community right at the top of the driveway.

Beachy-Keen is a fantastic house in a perfect location right on Emerald Isle's beautiful beach. It is roomy and comfortable and has all the amenities our family could have asked for. My wife and I along with our kids and grandkids had a wonderful family vacation!

This was our first time in Emerald Isle, NC. The beach was beautiful and not crowded. The house provided more than enough room for everyone in my family. The views from both balconies were stunning. Perfect house on the best part of Emerald Isle
We loved staying at Beachy Keen and plan to stay there again. It was our first stay on the western end of the island. The beach is fantastic, and the house had everything we needed to just enjoy ourselves and relax. The neighborhood was very quiet, and deer and rabbits spent time in the yards nearest the beach. We really loved that. Despite the house's potential occupancy there were only 4 of us staying. We had plenty of space to spread out in the many bedrooms. Justin responded quickly to all of my communications. I honestly have nothing negative to share. All positives. Thanks Justin!

This property was amazing. The convenience of having the beach as your front yard was great. The beaches were big and clean. Enjoy the sunrise to your left and sunset to your right. The house has all the amenities that you would need for a week long stay.
Across from the driveway is the small playground and pool area. Great for kids. We had a 18 month old and a 3 year old with us and they couldn’t have had more fun.
The house has beach chairs and some kids toys - I would recommend bringing additional beach toys.
Host was great with communication.

Didn’t want to leave!
This house was perfect for our needs - a hybrid family getaway/business trip to bring some of my company’s pro cyclists down for the Croatan Buck Fifty gravel race (finishing 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and 6th). We had a body for every bed, and we never felt cramped. There really was not anything we needed that the house didn’t have. And the views of the ocean from many of the rooms was fantastic. Fabulous!
This property was a dream. The location is ideal, the accommodations are perfect, the check in and check were totally painless. The view from the upper deck cannot be beat. There is enough room for a big family. We would love to come back with our grandchildren.

The property was very nice. Good view of the ocean which was very close. The property must have been recently remodeled and it looked great. Really enjoyed my stay here. We are talking about staying here again next year.
