About this house rental

Our beautiful log home provides a romantic, quiet mountain getaway experience. A spacious first floor bedroom with queen size log bed and upstairs loft room with queen size bed provide comfortable, private sleeping arrangements for two couples, or a small family of four. A darling country kitchen provides everything you’ll need including a dishwasher. Relax by the beautiful stone fireplace in the living room or enjoy the tv in the snug while watching deer play just outside the tall windows. After a day of hiking, biking, or rafting in nearby Ohiopyle you can enjoy an evening dining on the back deck, searing some steaks on the charcoal grill (summer months), or unwinding in the hot tub if the weather permits. We also provide a washer and dryer for your laundry needs. In floor radiant heat will keep your toes warm during winter months while central air conditioning keeps the home cool and comfortable in the summer. We are located just minutes from Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, Ohiopyle State Park, Nemacolin Woodlands, Lady Luck Casino, Fort Necessity, Laurel Caverns, and the Jumonville Cross. Our mobile massage therapist is available for in house massage services by pre scheduled appointment. Please inquire for details.

Pick a category, this place tops the list! It’s cleaner than my Dutch Grama’s house!! If you’re Dutch you know that’s an exceptional compliment. The host’s couldn’t be more hospitable. We’ve stayed in more rentals than we can count. This property is our favorite.!

The cleanest, and most thought out stay I've had so far! Everything was perfect! Hot tub, fire pit, grill, etc. This host even supplied the charcoal, and firewood! The cottage was absolutely beautiful! Doesn't get much better!

the house is on a beautiful piece of property. very private. house is very clean with everything you need. bonus hot tub! comfortable beds. the only draw back is there is only one shower and it’s in the master bedroom

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Cooley's Cabin! Luann and Kevin were wonderful "hosts" and have created the perfect getaway location. The cabin was fully stocked with all the essentials and amenities anyone would need for time away for a vacation. The location was also terrific in terms of being a central location to all the sites you are looking to see in the area. All of these wonderful things before even mentioning the hot tub! :-) The only downside is that by encouraging others to stay there it may not be available the next time we want to go!

Beautiful cabin very close to hiking trails, town, rafting etc. Hosts communicated everything we needed and were very timely in responses. Cabin offers a variety of amenities that I definitely suggest taking full advantage of. Will definitely be back for a longer stay. 2 nights was not enough to enjoy everything the cabin and area have to offer

After biking the trail, the hot tub was PERFECT! Everything was so thoughtful at this VRBO! Candy dish and the made from scratch treats were fun! And water bottles chilled in fridge made it a sweeter experience. I personally loved the books provided for leisure reading on the front porch rocker. They had local books, providing more information about Ohiopyle—past & present! Loved the tips for great restaurants to visit, too!

Cooley's cottage was a beautiful home indoors and out. Relaxing in the hot tub or just in the beautiful living room was the most relaxation I've had in years. Our hosts were absolutely delightful and we cannot wait to come back! Very highly recommended!!

I took my daughter rafting for her first time and she had a great time, but I honestly think she enjoyed the cottage just as much. She loved our welcome cupcake that had a buckeye on top of the cupcake. Sooo Delicious!!! We are from Ohio so we Loved it. We loved the Hot tub. We sat and hung out and it gave us a great opportunity to just talk together. The Cabin is spectacular.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this cabin. I can not say enough about the location, convenience, cleanliness and communication with the hosts. We will come here year after year. This is a place that you can call home away from home. That’s how fabulous this is!!

This property is absolutely beautiful. The cabin is so inviting. It is very clean and has everything as expected. The owners live close by and we had the opportunity to meet them. They are a lovely couple. We expected that this will be the first of many visits to Cooley's Cabin.

This property was perfect for us - one level and easy for husband to navigate with a walker. Very comfortable bed and furniture and everything was impeccably clean. Lots of extras supplied by the owner who was very responsive and helpful. Gorgeous serene setting. We enjoyed watching the wildlife while sitting on the front porch and truly hated to leave. Thanks for hosting us Luann and Kevin. Hope to return one day.

We were 4 retired friends reuniting after traveling to Europe together, This place was beautiful! I have stayed I many VRBO’s and this one of the cleanest and best organized places that I have ever stayed in. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. We appreciated the well stocked Kuerig station. We had a nice time visiting Fallingwater and hiking in ohiopyle state park. Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer! All my friends were very impressed with this lovely log cabin!

The cottage was so inviting from the moment we arrived. So clean and fresh. Beautifully decorated and so cozy. There was even homemade apple crisp waiting for us when we arrived. The grounds were also beautiful and peaceful. The jacuzzi hot tub was a lovely bonus. We definitely plan to visit again in the future. Thank you Luann and Kevin for a wonderful long weekend getaway!

Wonderful cozy stay- very clean. Hot tub was perfect, great location 5 minutes from downtown. Would not recommend for small kids due to lower railing in loft, but for an adult getaway was great. Hosts were very communicative and accommodating. Would stay here again.

This cabin is beautiful inside and out. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and did not want to leave. The location is perfect and the owners are so accommodating. This home has so many extra touches and features that are not found in other rentals AND was the cleanest property in which we have stayed in a long time. Luann and Kevin are super hosts and do everything they can to make your stay a pleasant one. We loved the cottage so much that we have already booked another stay for later this year. Also so much to do that is close by - Ohiopyle, Cucumber Falls, Frank Lloyd Wright homes to tour, hiking trails, shops, historical sites, quaint restaurants. You will not be disappointed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cooley’s Cottage and highly recommend. It was impressivley clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with pretty much everything you could need or want. Luanns special touches and attention to detail were evident throughout the cottage, which we greatly appreciated. Her cookies were especially delicious! Loved the personalized welcome board, stocked coffee bar, and the bowl of candies. Property was beautiful and well kept. Very quiet and peaceful. Amazing for star gazing, too!! 🌠 Especially from the hot tub! Excellent location! The adventures are endless.. My only complaint, the weekend went by, way too fast. Next time, we hope to stay an extra night or two. Or few!

This beautiful log home was an absolutely perfect home base for my recent vacation with my partner. The cabin itself is both cozy and spacious and the furniture and rugs and sheets were luxuriously soft. We really enjoyed the hot tub and its views of nature. The kitchen was very pleasant to prepare our meals in. The location was also ideal with all the hiking, waterfalls and adventures of Ohiopyle State Park so close by and two Frank Lloyd Wright houses to tour within 15 minutes. The hosts were very helpful with clear and timely communication about check in, orientation and were quickly responsive when we needed assistance. A wonderful experience start to finish. Highly recommend.

2 of us from Ohio and 1 from Virginia. Wanted to find a location in the middle to spend 2 nights visiting and catching up. Ohiopyle was perfect (about a 3.5 hour drive for each) and we were so lucky to have found this cabin/cottage!! We spent the first night getting settled in and visiting with cocktails. Our first full day was rainy so we just ate lunch out, played games and one of us brought material to make blankets. The cabin was so spacious and the extra living room with the tv was perfect for watching a movie while making our blankets. After we checked out the next day, the weather was beautiful so we headed to Ferncliff before making the drive home. Definitely want to come back to stay at this cabin again and experience cucumber falls and the trails.

My husband and I booked this cabin for a quick weekend getaway . It is a beautiful property and the cleanest we have ever stayed in . The host made us feel very welcome and had great communication with us. It was close to hiking trails at Ohiopyle state park with beautiful waterfalls. We would definitely stay here again

Four sisters picked this house for a girls-getaway due to the location and house amenities including hot tub and the opportunity for an in-house message therapist. We were not to be disappointed! To start, Louann was a great host with helpful communication and attention to detail that made us feel so welcome. The location was so incredibly convenient! During our stay, we got to visit a winery and distillery, go hiking in Ohiopyle, visit Fort Necessity and Braddock's grave, eat dinner in a historic restaurant, and have plenty of time for our messages with Brock (which were wonderful), and hanging out at the house including time in the hot tub. The only reason why I gave 4/5 for cleanliness is that I felt it would have been helpful to have basic cleaning items like a broom and vacuum cleaner available. Also, there were 3 different trash cans that each had a separate purpose in a location not directly in the kitchen. There was a lot of thought and sorting that had to go on when you wanted to throw something away. All in all, the property was beautiful and I would highly recommend for anyone wanting to stay in the region.

My friend and I wanted a snowy mountain retreat to read a long awaited book release together. This adorable log cabin fit the bill perfectly. The property is lovely and the cabin fit all of our needs and then some. It was clean, cozy, and smelled amazing. The fireplace was a perfect touch. Luann the property was very easy to interact with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider staying again.

My husband and our two college age daughters wanted a few days away during the winter holidays to decompress. This couldn't have been a more ideal location. It was so welcoming and warm that we had a hard time pulling ourselves away to hike and see the Frank Lloyd house. The loft, fireplace and hot tub made for a very relaxing stay.

This log cottage is a gem! It's a beautifully maintained, very clean and thoughtfully well-stocked retreat. We enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace as well as taking several soaks in the hot tub while the snow was lightly falling. It was beautiful. It's also not far from great restaurants and beautiful state parks. We will keep this one on our list to return to!

Beautiful property inside and out m. Incredible communications from host. She checked in with us several times making sure our stay was pleasant. Just can't beat an owner owned property. Quiet. Close to Ohiopyle park as well as the two FLW homes. Perfect get away. Highly highly recommend this rental.

Me and my wife stayed at this beautiful caben for are honeymoon! We walked in and felt right at home, it was so peaceful. They even made nobakes (they tasted fantastic), she even had a little sign that said congratulations!! Just to set it off even better they had a licensed massage guy that was able to come out and give use a Massage!! We definitely will be back. Thank you for this lovly stay!!
