About this house rental
Elegant, centrally located home in historicdowntown Hudson:Three-bedroom townhouse with three en suite baths (3 walk-in showers, one tub) and one half bath (powder room on main floor); chef's kitchen (induction cooktop, double convection and speed ovens, built-in refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, wine cooler); two living rooms, including one with smart tv; silent split-unit heating and cooling; washer/dryer; off-street parking; private decks and garden in back; high speed internet; built-in desks in every bedroom.
A new building in the center of a historic town, with modern gardens in front and back, offering every contemporary comfort, from a high-end chef’s kitchen to a whole-house wireless mesh and smart tv, the home has been designed by an artist and a builder, both knowledgeable hosts who have lived in Hudson and the surrounding area for over twenty years. The building is around the corner from The Maker and two doors down from the Islamic Center, located at the heart of town on a residential block that is proudly diverse, where the hosts also reside.
Guests have access to the two-story townhouse from the main door, with street parking in front and off-street parking in back, behind the garden gate. Balconies on each floor overlook a shared garden, which includes a dining table and grill. A shared basement-level laundry room with steam washer and dryer is accessed from the main interior stair.
The hosts are available in the immediate vicinity and happy to provide tips and information to guests as desired, as well as to quickly address any questions or issues.
The building is a short walk from the Amtrak station, around the corner from The Maker, down the block from the Islamic Center, and two blocks from a park overlooking the Hudson River.
Guests can reach the building by taking the Amtrak to Hudson and walking a few blocks or by calling a taxi once they arrive, which should charge $5 or less for the short trip from the station. Guests with cars can easily drive to the building and park in front, on the street, or in back at the designated off-street parking spots behind the garden fence. Once guests arrive, they can easily get around town by foot or by bicycle. Taxi services are also available for longer excursions.
It’s easy and convenient to park in front of the house, where spots are typically available, with alternate side parking occurring only one time per week, at which point guests may wish to park on-site, behind the building, in the parking spaces accessed via the alley. Guests may receive mail and packages at the building, and they will receive notifications on their phone from the doorbell cam when anyone rings.

The pictures of this property, while impressive, don’t do it justice. Every finish and detail in the entire townhome is such quality and makes this stay so pleasurable. The townhome was so close to the main street with restaurants and shops and was in the perfect location to enjoy everything Hudson has to offer. I could not recommend this place enough and if I return to Hudson, I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else! The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. The town house was well stocked with paper, products, towels, and everything else you need to make your stay easy and pleasurable. Thank you so much for making our time in Hudson a weekend we will never forget!

I urge all who are looking for a stay in the Hudson River Valley area to come to Hudson and this beautiful and extraordinary property! It's important to understand that this is a newly built house just two hundred feet from the main street with some of the best restaurants to find anywhere on the East Coast. The bedrooms and baths are the best we have ever seen on a rental property - the owners are right next door and provide instant assistance as needed. Parking on the street right in front of your house and off-street parking with a dedicated spot for your car. We will not find a better property, at these prices, anywhere in the USA!

The property exceeded expectations! I loved the proximity to restaurants, shops, bars, etc., and our host was extraordinarily accomodating of our arrival and departure schedules!! I needed/wanted a home where every bedroom had its own en suite, and I was thrilled to find this gem! My elderly mother needed main floor living so she didn't have to do stairs unnecessarily, and this home had a main floor bedroom with an en suite and also a powder room on that level. My only suggestion would be to have a television on that main level for that very reason that most likely the person staying on the first floor likely would not/could not do the stairs to get to where the only TV is (upstairs), otherwise it was perfect! I loved the eclectic decor (somewhat of an art deco meets mid century modern with some antiques and modern touches infused within), the artwork and all of the coffee table books, and top of the line appliances, and oh my the linens were fabulous!!! Thank you, Angie! We didn't want to leave!!
