This house is an amazing location on SGI. It suited our needs perfectly. Nice big great room with plenty of seating and nice open kitchen. Each room had its own in suite newly renovated bathroom. The only complaints we had was that the front door was hard to open and there were nails sticking up on the front stairs. Other than that, we loved this house!

Sandy Feet was the perfect beach house for 12 of us (7 adults, 5 teens) to spend the week. The newly updated bathrooms are beautiful, beds are comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked and suited for my brother the chef who cooked breakfast and dinner for the whole crew each day. Beach view from the front porch, and the beach access is right across the quiet street. Shops and sweet treats are within easy walking distance. Jerry was a responsive host for any issues we had- great communication.

We had a great time. Four different families staying together. The host was very responsive! Some minor issues, but all resolved quickly. Nothing to make the trip bad. A very short walk to the beach and to the park/ice cream shop. Pool was great. BBQ worked well. Dryer needs some repair, but that didn’t impact our trip at all. We would book again!

The location and space for our family was perfect. However the property needs a lot of work. Nails were sticking out of the stairs and decks. No water pressure in showers, some bathrooms didn’t have any hot water, coffee pot didn’t work, hot tub wasn’t hot.the pool needs work as it’s very dated. Wi-Fi worked for an hour then would go out and would for for a few minutes and then go out, we just stopped trying. Games in game room stopped working. As far as cleanliness, there was trash under our beds, trash and sticking stuck to the bathtub and walls around the bathtub. The kitchen was covered in some sort of film on the counters and all appliances, the front deck was scattered all around.the bunkbeds looked like someone just rolled out of them so we decided to not use those. We ended up getting cleaning supplies and cleaning ourselves once we arrived. We fixed the front patio so we could use it. The location was perfect and the owner was extremely nice but would definitely need some help before we stayed again unfortunately.

Everything was wonderful except the showers. Terrible shower heads and no pressure.

Property was as advertised and had plenty of room for our group of 17 with two infants. Easy access to beach with public access walkway directly across the street. Property management was very responsive when we had a minor AC issue. Would reccommend this property for an easy, stress free vacation!

The house has a good layout for a large group. The wifi isnt the best and it does need some maintenance work on some of the doors but the owner is very good at responding to text or calls and is so freindly that the down sides arent really a big concern. I will definitely be returning again.

Great place for 6 adults and 4 kids under 5. Morning at the beach and afternoon in the pool. Renovations completed were good, plenty of room for all.

The house was wonderful!

The house was convenient to town & the beach. The property needs lots of maintenance - the front door, the deck, the hot tube - only 2 jets actually work and has weeds around the pool deck. The property manager did respond very quickly when I had a concern.

I love the house’s location you could walk to the blue parrot restaurant the little shops and playground area and the beach access was easy and clean.
The property has a beautiful renovation to the main living area and kitchen. The kids loved the game room area and even made great use of the kayaks.
The bathrooms, decks, and pool area need a renovation. We had to pound in nails that were popped up so we wouldn’t cut bare feet on them or trip. The large glass door to the front deck did not shut well or open well which was a little scary at night. It was not terrible but definitely something to keep in mind. The downstairs apartment area was also not renovated and does not have indoor access to the main living area. You have to go outside to get up into the main house. So I wouldn’t plan to have small children sleep in that area without an adult.
Over all it was such a great area and the weather was beautiful so we really enjoyed ourselves. It was very spacious and accommodated all 15 of us nicely. If you are really picky about brand new or a little run down it’s not for you. We are from Michigan so we were chasing the sun and that’s exactly what we got!! We love St. George island. Really low key and relaxed.

This property has a lot of potential as it is in a good location walking distance to shops and restaurants, one row of houses off the beach, and has a nice layout with plenty of space for guests. The big downside is that it doesn't appear much attention is being given to maintaining it. Items mentioned as broken in previous reviews remain unrepaired, there are additional maintenance issues, and most disturbing of all is that there were numerous roaches of varying sizes dead or dying scattered around the entire interior when we arrived. Overall our extended family enjoyed our stay but I wouldn't select this property again until it is refreshed.

There is a lot of love about this vacation rental. The location was across the street from the beach and only a short walk to Gulf. The layout was perfect for our group. Using the downstairs apartment as two bedrooms, there was room for the six of us to have our own rooms. There were plenty of tables and counter space for us to have room for all kinds of activities. There were plenty of towels provided, and the linens were pretty and seemed clean.
The air conditioning worked in the main part of the house so well that the windows cried. The bigger beds were comfortable, but the bunks and beds downstairs were not. When we arrived, the master bathroom floor smelled of bleach. We shouldn’t have assumed that meant the place was clean. There were Doritos and sand ground in the carpets/rugs. The doors can be set up to lock automatically and without the need for keys. Unfortunately, they were broken.
The front door did not lock safely. Even when it appeared locked, one good shove and it popped open.
This lack of maintenance and broken items continued to be a theme for the weekend. The electric can opener did not operate, neither did the regular can opener, the coffee pots, bathroom timers, some blinds, the Keurig, the sink sprayer, or the shower in the extra bathroom (It sprayed water hard enough to bruise your feet). The air conditioner in the bedroom down below did not keep the room cool overnight.
There were also some significant safety concerns. We posed to take a group photo on the deck and found the railing on the landing was loose. One good shove and the group would have fallen half a floor onto sharp oyster shells. Multiple nails on the deck and stairs were sticking up to a quarter of an inch, begging to take the skin off the bottom of feet. In the pool area, the deck had warped and started to pull the nails out. Step carefully, especially if you like to go barefoot. Also, watch the gate for the pool if you have children; it was rusted and did not latch properly. We hope the pool is cleaner for you than it was for us. There was debris on the deck and in the pool, but the pool net was broken.
One of our group (front left bedroom) had a bedroom door that let out onto the deck facing the street. Unfortunately, the door did not lock even when we followed the instructions. We contacted Jerry, who responded quickly. He said someone would come fix it, they did not. Scary.
By the way, the hot tub jets were blocked & didn't work. Gross.

The home is beautiful and the host is super nice and responsive. The view is great and the island was great. However the first day checking in we noticed the toilet would not fill up and kept running so this automatically put us down a bathroom. Then 4 days into being on the property there was a leak in the downstairs apartment. I contacted the host and he sent a lady and her young child to look at the leak. We was given 6 towels from a nearby home, 2 5gallon buckets and a “sorry for your inconvenience” they left. 2 days later another gentalmen came and looked at the leak, he also was unable to determine the issue. We had to move all of the furniture out of the bedroom, personal photos and a wallet was ruined from the liquid leaking onto them. Then we never seen anyone else while staying in the property. We checked out this morning and still never received a call or anything. For the price and our first vacation to Florida was a nightmare. So many repairs and updates needed on this property. Definitely will not be interested in this home again.

Perfect location and set up for our family. Could have been cleaner. House and pool need some attention for sure. Issues with all the front doors(knobs were all broken), nail pops on steps and deck and loose deck boards were dangerous, toilet in rear left BR ran, the pool has stains and needs to be emptied (off season) to clean them per the pool person. Hope that gets done. Kaleigh was very sweet to speak with. Jerry was very timely in his responses. Just wish he would have called/texted instead of emailing for better communication. Hate to complain but it’s a lot of money to spend to get a home that’s in disrepair.

It was our first time visiting St George Island but it won’t be the last! The house was clean and very accommodating with a perfect view of the gulf. We had some problems with the cable and WiFi but after an email to the owner it was quickly resolved. The pool and game room won big points with kids-young and old!

Location, location, location!
We loved renting this home. It was perfect for the 10 of us aging 14 - 65. The downstairs apartment was perfect for our two oldest teens. The kids all enjoyed how close we were to town. The view being a one off of the beach was in the perfect location. Ocean views from the front porch! Beach access right across the street. Pool was great and we opted for heating it in April so that was an added bonus! Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.
