We have stayed in Sugar Mtn countless times over the decades, both in houses and condos, and we thoroughly enjoyed this round house. It was clean and well-stocked and having two toilets upstairs was nice. My husband and I (in our 60's) stayed in the basement in the bunk beds, a first, and we have never experienced a spiral staircase like that! For anyone very overweight or with bad knees, I would suggest you enter that room using the outside stairs from the deck and avoid the staircase. Despite that, the downstairs was very nice even for "older people". I'm not quite sure how people would walk to the ski slopes in the winter, but other than having to cross the road, we were able to find short walks with the grandchildren. One other note: it's great to have four parking spaces since often parking is quite limited with rentals, but we arrived late at night in the rain and dark and struggled to park two large cars on the top spaces. We were unable to find a path up to the house from the lower lot until the next day and I actually tripped on a root and took a tumble going down that rough path. Again, for anyone with mobility issues, there are a lot of steps going down from the upper lot and a steep path up from the lower lot. Overall, we found this house adorable and comfortable and would definitely make it a repeat vacation place in Sugar Mtn.

The home was perfect for our weekend getaway. The stairs inside the home are very narrow so beware in case you have people who can’t make up the stairs very well. We were disappointed in the view from the pictures it looks like there is more mountain view from the home. We had easy access to banner elk and Boone which was very nice. Overall I would book this place again. Thank you

It was just the 4 of us who stayed there. It was absolutely adorable. Comfortable beds, open floor plan and just a cozy atmosphere. I would definitely rent this place again! Thank you!

The location is perfect for skiing, you can just walk down the street and be at Sugar Mountain rental and lift area. Very beautiful nature surroundings, plenty of space in the cabin, amazing air, great place. Bring your pillows if you like more comfortable sleep.

Very homey and comfortable stay! There were 8 of us, 18-70 years old. Plenty of room for all of us to relax and hang out together. Perfect location, view and outdoor seating.

The location was perfect. Everything was perfect. The only issues I had were that the fire pit on the deck did not work, even though we followed the directions to a T. The water for the showers never got hot, but the sink water did. And the spiral staircase is very narrow and the steps are not very wide. Other than those 3 things we adored the place. We would stay again for sure!

It is a beautiful property. One suggestion, to have a barbeque grill.

The house was perfect for all 9 of us. The few things that were not to my satisfaction wasn't much. There wasn't a grill. And the gas fireplace on the porch would not work and the gas was just say out. But we improvised to make our s'mores for the children. As soon as walking in the bottom portion of the home and shutting the door, the blinds fell off and you can tell it had been rigged to look normal. We did our best to put it back without taken the blinds completely off the door. And the floor could have been swept and mopped. Sweeping was half and after wiping the floor you could tell it had not been mopped before our arrival. My mouth had a hole in it and spilled a little water on the kitchen floor so that's how I found out the floor was really dirty. But. . . Over all the home was perfect. Smelled good. Had clean bed sheets and blankets in every room. Clean towels with no stains what so ever. More then enough room for all of us. Had plenty to watch on the TV system. The porch was more then relaxing and the kids loved playing outside. The view was amazing. I could of sat on the porch for hours just looking. The house was stocked with way more then we expected. Thank you so much for that. We were close to town and so many attractions. We loved our outing. Hiking and exploring. They have beautiful waterfalls close to the area. Mountain coaster was so much fun. The kitchen was the families favorite for the fact we made some amazing food in your home and enjoyed our time together. We did eat out one night at an Italian place called Bella's. Worth the two hundred and some dollar's we spent splurging on the menu. And we had the pedaling pig bbq. Meat was amazing but the sides were not what I expected in flavor. But worth it. We will definitely come back to this home if we are in the area. Thanks for sharing your home with us. It's worth the trip everyone. You will love it!

I took my five children skiing at Sugar Mountain. The house was everything that we expected and more! There was plenty of room for all of us and everything was clean and well stocked! The house was in a great location and close to everything! Vacasa was the best management company that I have ever dealt with. They were available to answer questions all through the process and so helpful.

We loved this cute, yurt style vacation home. We were cozy and warm with plenty of space for the three of us tired, working mamas to relax, chat, read and rejuvenate. Great location - easy to access restaurants, hiking, Alpine coaster and winery - made this a fun, affordable getaway.

Loved this property. Great location. Plenty of room. However....the mattresses were uncomfortable and I had to clean the air conditioner filter to get it to work. Also your baseboards need cleaning. Otherwise, Great experience!
