One of the shortest walks to Main Street, Blowing Rock available from the lovely Chetola Resort! Enjoy your time in the mountains in a spacious, tastefully furnished condo in the Chetola Resort (https://chetola.com/). It is also only a short walk to Bass Lake, Chetola Lake and the Outlets. The deck overlooks a wooded area with a stream that runs down from Bass Lake and winds its way down the resort property to Chetola Lake. In addition to a spacious living room on the main floor, there is a second living room with a large flat screen TV on the lower level. The bedroom on the lower level enjoys a full private bath and easy access to the second living room.

We have been marking an annual visit to Chetola since my kids were small children. They are now 17 and 19! We normally rent through Chetola but came across this listing on VRBO. It was perfect! Very clean, updated, comfortable beds, great location, and thoughtful additions such as coffee pods, shampoo/conditioner in the showers, laundry pods, etc. The downstairs ‘gameroom’ was great for the teens to hangout. We will definitely be staying here again! thank you!

We stayed for four nights in a three bedroom condo at the Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock, NC. The facility was immaculate and very well appointed. My daughter and grandchildren enjoyed many of the amenities of Chetola including fishing, playing pickle ball, swimming in the heated pool, and kayaking on Chetola Lake. The only point of contention was when my daughter went to the front desk to get a card to allow her to take the children to the pool. She was told that unless the property owner had paid extra for use of the facilities that she could not use any of the property facilities whatsoever. Fortunately, I found a recreation card in the owner's notebook. This confirmed the ability to use all such amenities. This was likely an oversight on my part for not realizing that presenting such a card was necessary. Overall however, a wonderful experience.

The resort area and condo itself was absolutely perfect for our family of 6. The condo had everything we needed & then some extras that most places would never think of. With four daughters we completely appreciated that it had multiple bathrooms so they could get ready in their separate spaces. We will absolutely recommend this property to others & will seek the property to stay again.

We stayed at this condo in early April 2024. 2 70 year olds, 1 40 year old and 2 kids. All of us had our own spaces - I had the full basement which included a bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath, a half bath and a second living room. I LOVED the second living room to work while we were there! The kids and grandparents stayed on the main floor. the grandparents had a primary bedroom with bathroom attached. The kids had the twin bedroom with the hall full bath. The living room upstairs is very large and the dining table has plenty of seating for everyone - including 2 extra chairs that are in the primary suite and the table even has leaves to expand it if needed. This condo was the first rental we have ever stayed at that had absolutely everything we needed! You can tell the owners really love their place. We loved the bar as an extra place to access drinks during the week instead of everyone being in the kitchen at one time. Lots of games and puzzles downstairs for all ages. Good book options in the primary and throughout the place. We stayed on a very cold week so we did not walk to downtown BR but we could have. Downtown BR is adorable with a great big playground and lots of shopping and restaurants. We used the indoor pool in the resort. It was a lot of fun to have that option for the kids!

My family and I had a fantastic time at this location. Everything was excellent - the place is cozy, spotless, and adorned with beautiful decorations. The presence of a Christmas tree, poinsettias, and various thoughtful details added to the overall joy of our stay. Thank you very much. I highly recommend it for a wonderful family experience.

This property was the perfect place for our family of 4 to relax, unwind and enjoy this beautiful area prior to the Christmas Holiday. The short walk to main street made it convenient to shop, eat and enjoy downtown Blowing Rock. The hiking trails on the property and adjacent were an excellent way to get our hikes in without having to drive to a trailhead somewhere else.

I can’t say enough great things about our stay but here are a few- spacious yet cozy, clean and well stocked, comfy beds, short walk to Main Street Blowing Rock, easy check in/out process. We would love to stay here again. It was perfect for our family!

The condo exceeded all of our expectations. It was exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything that we needed. Usually I take a good knife and frypan with me but the kitchen was well equipped and I didn’t need to bring anything. There were some simple, but tasteful seasonal decorations, which made it feel like we were actually staying in someone’s home. We would definitely consider staying there again if we were in Blowing Rock.

Our recent stay at this property was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything about this condo exceeded our expectations. The communication with the host was wonderful. He was prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The condo was nicely kept. The space allowed each of us a room and private bath. Easy access to downtown and wonderful walking around the property.

This listing was amazing. Very Clean, spacious, and overall great. I traveled with myself my husband, my infant, and my mother and we had more than enough room for all of us. there were cooking utensils and spices for us to use, coffee, and creamer for the kurig. id 100% stay here again.

We have stayed on the Chetola property numerous times. This condo is BY FAR our favorite. The condo is incredibly spacious, super clean, walking distance to Main Street and the owner was able to answer questions in a very timely manner. We are looking forward to our next visit and will definitely request to book here again. Highly recommend!!

We loved our stay! The condo was beautifully decorated, with a warm and welcoming feel. We stayed for a long weekend friends getaway, so 6 adults, and the space was super comfortable. We were conveniently located to DT Blowing Rock, so easy access to shops and restaurants. And of course such a beautiful place to enjoy nature. We will definitely book Jon’s condo again for our next getaway!

The furnishings and decor are at a higher standard than usually found in a short term rental. The kitchen and bathrooms were supplied with above average materials.. The view was all nature. The unit was immaculate. This is the best unit I have stayed in at the resort. Would definitely choose it again. Only negative was the door key lock box which was very difficult to open. We had perfect weather and enjoyed several walks around the lake as well as the great restaurants of Blowing Rock.

A beautiful spacious and most relaxing condo in the charming Chetola Resort. Everything you need at your fingertips,right down to coffee pods, hair dryer,flat iron and curling iron and makeup remover! Just everything you may need except the food!Parking right at the front door.Easy access to downtown, the parks, and shopping. Jonathan is a wonderful host and quick to respond. We will be back!!! We have stayed in several Chetola condos. This has been our favorite. It is updated and well-stocked with quality products. We didn’t need the necessities. We appreciated the teas and teapot. The condo and appliances were clean. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The gas fireplace was easy to turn on. It was perfect for our chilly evenings. The setting is woodsy and tranquil. They even have a good selection of books. Kids love the indoor pool and fishing pond located in the middle of the resort. We would definitely book it again.

First of all, Jonathan was awesome! He communicated with us and answered all questions immediately. The condo was so nice and welcoming! They went over and above by providing coffee and creamer, Even luxurious soaps and shampoos! That might sound silly but I've stayed in many places that didn't even provide paper towels so this was a nice surprise. The location was perfect! very close to down town shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay again!
