About this house rental
Welcome to Clemens' Cottage in the sought-after Walden neighborhood! Located on open water (no canal) but behind a "no wake zone" in a quiet cove on Lake Conroe. Guests are able to swim and use non-motorized water crafts/toys right off of the private boat dock. If you would like to bring a motorized boat, we also have a private boat slip, with room for a second boat, if needed. This home is family-friendly and has a fully fenced yard in between the home and dock with a gate leading to the dock/water. There is also a neighborhood pool at the yacht club with a poolside grill called Breakwater. You will have access to this pool with our pool pass.
We are stocked with bath towels, kitchenware, games, etc. We have a foosball table upstairs. There is a propane grill on the porch. We also have kayaks that are available for use.
The main level includes the master bedroom, which sleeps 4, with a king and a trundle day bed. There is also an additional half bath downstairs. The upstairs includes 2 secondary bedrooms and a full bath, along with extra space in the game room. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other is a bunk bed with a twin over a full. The loft offers another living area and another daybed /trundle.
Multi-level decks include 1 fully screened-in deck/dining area, 1 covered deck that opens to the backyard, and 1 upper-level deck that is half covered and half uncovered - perfect for sunning.
Be sure to watch for deer! They love to hang out in the culdesac around 5 pm and early mornings. Or jump on the walking trails right across from our driveway. We are about a 10-minute drive from Margaritaville, golfing, and close to so much that Lake Conroe has to offer!
Per VRBO guidelines, exterior security cameras are as followed:
Camera over garage to monitor culdisac, backyard camera on roof to monitor lake level, and a ring doorbell to monitor deliveries.

We had a great stay! lovely location & view! split floor plan was perfect for allowing space for kids to go while adults are downstairs. Beds were comfortable and lots of hot water. the views were great and the location on the cove was quiet and relaxing to watch. Loved having the covered patio looking out to the yard and dock. Kids had fun fishing and swimming off the dock. We wished there was shade at the dock. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Great location at the end of Walden. Very quiet, peaceful and safe. Could swim off the dock and tie off toys and a boat. House was perfect as advertised. Host was wonderful to communicate with. Very help and accommodating.

We were two families with young children. The house is perfectly located on Lake Conroe and made for a fun weekend for all. We enjoyed swimming off the dock, boat rental, and sunsets from the deck. The house is well situated with two living spaces and separate space for the kids. Overall we were very pleased.

5 stars! We loved everything about this house! We enjoyed swimming with our kids in the quiet cove and playing board & card games at night. The A/C was nice and cold although it was over 100F outside. The house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Our little pupstars had a nice backyard they could safely enjoy thanks to the metal gated dog fence. We had so much fun on the beautiful lake and even enjoyed live music at the yacht club pool a couple nights. *the house dock could use a few vertical dock bumpers as the lake seemed lower than expected as the small horizontal dock pads didn’t help us for the pontoon and speed boat we rented. Also note to bring your own life jackets if needed for swimming and kayaks, although they come with the boat rentals. (This was listed in the property description we just forgot one for our little nephew and the stores were all out of his size despite checking several stores on different days) Overall perfect end-of-summer vacation!!

The house was great. Texas is in a severe heat wave and the air conditioners kept us comfortable. All the furnishings are comfortable and clean. The location on the lake is perfect, tucked into a nice community that definitely has that 'Life on a Lake' vibe.

This property was perfect for our family!! We had everything we needed and more!! It was beautifully decorated, great condition, and extremely clean!! We loved swimming and floating off the deck, playing foosball tournaments, and just relaxing! There was plenty of room for all eight of us and the beds were super comfortable!

We enjoyed a family weekend and had a great stay. We enjoyed relaxing out on the dock and even got to do some fishing. The home is situated on a quiet cove with easy access if you bring your boat. We came for a fishing weekend. Fishing off the the boat slip we did well so other than going for a boat ride we pretty much stayed parked there where we could fish in the shade. We would definitely come back we enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay. This house is very clean & a great size without the astronomical price tag for bigger families like ours on a budget. We had 9 people on our trip & had plenty of room for everyone. Its also in a great location convenient to everything. Being in a culdesac its quiet with no traffic. We never really saw the neighbors much either. The owners were great. Very quick to reply anytime I contacted them with any questions or needs. If i had to list any faults it would only be that theres no ice maker in the fridge & the ladder on the dock needs at least one more step on the bottom to make it easier to get out of the lake when the water level is low. The water level appeared to be about 2 feet lower than usual with the lack of rainfall this summer. But those 2 things are nothing major compared to the other amenities. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for a weekend, as we attended an out of town wedding. The property was beautiful, inside and out. Decorated very nice, lots of room, everything in working order and located right on the lake. There was nothing we could complained about. Nice, quiet place
We enjoyed our stay and overall the house is a nice place. They do need to clean out the spider webs, especially around the deck area. But, for a family, it would be a great place to hang out for the weekend.
