Marks place is great, its our second time staying here for Okemo ski trip and couldn't ask for a better place. Its close enough to the mountain and has all the space and amenities you would need. Thanks again for sharing your home!

I would like to thank mark for an absolutely outstanding autumn weekend in Vermont. The booking and rental process for his lovely home was flawless. Our stay was quiet and comfortable with all the amenities provided and our pup Jax was in his glory laying by the fireplace and roaming the property. The hot tub was a nice added feature provided an additional warmth to the fall season. We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and are looking forward to possibly returning during the Okemo ski season

The house is amazing. There were 7 of us and there was plenty of room. We loved the hot tub and the big dining room table which allowed us to play games and eat together. The host was very responsive when we had question. We loved it so much that we want to go back again. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your place.

The house was great. Excellent setting, clean and just far enough away from civilization to relax!

Mark was very gracious about our stay, given the flooding that happened before we got there with more anticipated during. He offered to extend the stay or move it to a later date. In the end, rather than add to the local burden, we opted to postpone.

Overall our family of 5 fit very comfortably in this property and really enjoyed the stay. Hot tub was great after skiing and it was great to relax by the wood burning fireplace. Close to Okemo which made it a breeze to get to and from the slopes. Cell service isn’t great - so be sure to print the check-in instructions or take save a screenshot ahead of arriving so you can refer to it as you get connected to wi-fi. Highly recommend this spot and hope to be back in the future.

This house met all our criteria for a weekend ski getaway. Located a short 15 minute drive from Okemo, this house had everything we needed to relax after a full day of skiing. While we had a smaller group, this house would perfectly accommodate a much larger group with two separate living areas, bathrooms on each floor, and a large eat-in kitchen. The hot tub was a greatly appreciated amenity, and I would stay here again if in the area.

Its a Beautiful house with lots of room but too far in the woods especially if u have children who are energetic! it's nice for people who want to be away from the city and just want to be away from everything and don't mind driving a bit to town or out of the town, because the town this house was in is a little run down and we drove all over looking for things to do and only found 1 museum! Also the first night we arrived guns we're going off for hours and we wouldn't even go outside it was pretty scary especially with 2 small dogs we couldn't even let them loose to afraid they'd be mistaken and get shot! Also afraid of a stray bullet hitting us so are kids wouldn't even go out!! So we couldn't even enjoy the hot tub because the noise from the guns were freaking us all out!! it's a Great place if u are a hunter or want a romantic peaceful vacation in the middle of the woods!!

The best ski home for a weekend in Vermont. The house was incredibly cozy and was stocked with everything that we needed. It was very clean, a quick drive to Okemo ski resort, and was the perfect home for our family vacation. Would absolutely love to be here again next winter!

Mark's place was perfect for our trip and the home was as advertised. The home was clean and comfortable and about 15 minutes to Okemo. The hot tub was especially nice after a long day of skiing. Would definitely stay here again in the future! The living room area with fireplace and dining room area are also much bigger in person. We fit comfortably with 4 adults, 4 kids under 10 and one dog.

Mark’s house has everything you’ll need for a family get away. We had a family group plus 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans for cooking in. Our kids loved the finished basement space for hanging out after a day of skiing. The adults loved soaking in the hot tub! We would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Ludlow!

Mark was a super host, very responsive and the house was super clean and stocked with everything you would need and more. There was plenty of space and the beds were extremely comfortable. We stayed for two nights this past weekend when the temperature was actually -25 with wind chill of -42 and we put the heating system to work, we were comfortable and warm, the fireplace was great and there was plenty of wood. Unfortunately it was too chilly outside for us to use the hot tub, two of us braved it for a quick minute. We skied at Killington on Sunday and we’re about 30 minutes from there. The location is perfect to ski at either Okemo or Killington. Would definitely recommend Mark’s place and would love the chance to stay here again.

This beautiful house was close to town Okemo and Camp Plymouth Lake but still felt like we had our own chalet in the woods away from everything! The owner thought of everything-towels for the hot tub, linens, well stocked kitchen, firewood for the firepit and helpful ideas on where to eat out and shop. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect VT getaway.
We loved staying at this house. I highly recommend this place for a perfect getaway. The house was clean and a great space. It was in a nice remote setting in the woods. Close to Plymouth State Park and restaurants in Ludlow. We just stayed in July of 2022. Perfect weather and the back deck was just perfect and quiet. I would stay here again.

Gorgeous home and location
We stayed at Mark's to enjoy the foliage for an extended Columbus Day weekend. The house was very clean and in like new condition. The house is large with plenty of room to host lots of people with three levels of finished space. The location was perfect for hiking and viewing Vermont's world renound foliage. It's a quick drive to Woodstock, Killington and other quintessential towns you want to make sure you see. Mark's response time was fantastic and his recommendations for restaurants were spot on! Would highly recommend to everyone!

Nice fall weekend
We enjoyed a nice fall weekend at this house- our group found everything we needed to relax at this home, which was comfortable and well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, which was clean and in good working order. The house directions were clear and included everything we needed to know. It is very dark so try not to arrive at night as it could be hard to find. About 13 min drive to downtown Ludlow with restaurants and grocery store.

A very nice home and a super helpful owner
This was our first trip to Vermont and we had a great time. Mark was incredibly helpful — giving us tips on restaurants and things to do in the area. The house was just as you see in the photos and was more than enough space for our 4-person family (it could easily accommodate a much larger group). The kids enjoyed the yard, the hot tub and the pool table in the basement. Overall a great experience.

Ludlow, VT Beautiful House with Large Deck and Front Porch in a Rural Setting
The accomodations were excellent - 4 bathrooms, all being clean, - the living space is beautiful and very comfortable for 4 adults, 2 kids and a dog. And the hot tub on the large deck was a welcome treat with piped-in music. The house is located on a country dirt road - good for walking the dog and exploring lots of scenic vistas. We used the grill on the deck, and the kitchen was well stocked - the water coming out of the refrigerator door’s filtering system was so good that one of us became a convert to drinking. water. We really enjoyed our family vacation in this beautiful home.

Wonderful get-away!
We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house is beautiful, very spacious, and well-stocked with all the things you would need for a stay. It's also very quiet, on a secluded lot, but near town and the lake. It's a great find!
The only difficulty we had was that google maps sent us to the wrong end of the very long street and we lost cell service when we got close to the house and had to drive back and forth a bunch of times to find it (the house numbers don't really go in order). When we finally did find the house, we found there was no cellular service there and no information on the wifi network, so we had to go back out to find service to message the owner to get the wifi password (he was very responsive). Besides the bumpy arrival, it was a really wonderful place to stay and we'd highly recommend it!

Wonderful stay in beautiful rural home
Everything was as described on the listing -- or even better! Plenty of space for everyone, comfy living room, large dining room table. There was even a smaller table for puzzles and games! The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and cookware we could possibly need. 3 full baths plus a half bath. Three bedrooms upstairs plus three twin beds (bed, daybed, trundle) in the basement den. PLENTY of space. Hot tub was wonderful, back deck a nice place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. You do need to know this location is rural/isolated, in a lovely way. It takes about 17 minutes to get into town to restaurants and grocery stores. We so enjoyed the beautiful drive past forests and meadows when we needed to go into town. Highly recommend this rental!

Gorgeous Home Tucked Away Near Okemo

An absolute hidden gem!
We stayed in this property for 5 nights and couldn’t believe just beautiful it was. It was immaculately clean and had everything that we needed. Outside, the hot tub, grill, fire pit and beautiful deck were perfect, especially as we were surrounded by trees, giving lots of privacy. The location was just perfect. We did day trips and outdoor activities in and around Ludlow but the property was also convenient for Killington too.
Inside, the kitchen was well equipped with plenty of eating space for us all. Upstairs, the bedrooms were beautifully presented (my kids now want the same bedding in their rooms 😂). A real cosy feel to the house but with the added luxury of air conditioning too. Extra touches included (such as shampoo) were also nice.
We have done several of these rentals and we can honestly say this was the best. I highly recommend staying there and the owner is very good at communication too. We would love to stay here again!

Do not hesitate to book! Beautiful and very clean home!
My husband, I and our 2 year old daughter rented this property for a long weekend away with friends and our dogs. Communication with the owner Mark was excellent, and he was very understanding and willing to accommodate our requests/needs & went up & beyond. The check-in/out process was very clear and easy.
To start, the home is beautiful, updated and very clean. There is a spacious kitchen and open layout on the downstairs level. The multiple bathrooms were all clean. Bedrooms were large and all linens were clean. Bath/hand towels were provided.
The deck is large and there is a patio table and chairs for use. The hot tub was very clean and we enjoyed using it at night after hiking during the day. It was the perfect way to relax and unwind!
There are 2 step stools provided in the bathrooms which we greatly appreciated for our daughter to reach the sinks, and a baby gate is also provided to block off the top of the stairs at night.
Note there is no cell phone service in the house, but there is a strong wifi signal and telephones are provided that are connected to a land line to dial out. We were able to enable wifi calling through our cell phones. There are multiple TVs located throughout the house that are connected to satellite TV.
The home is private and surrounded by woods, and you cannot see your neighbors. The front porch is completely covered by an overhang, and we were able to watch a thunderstorm come through without getting wet. The yard is well maintained and a firepit is available for use as well. There is also a beautiful wood burning fireplace in the living room. The area the home is located feels very safe and is very rural. The road the house is located on is dirt and quiet. There is no traffic noise and we enjoyed going for a walk daily and enjoying the area.
The owner is pet friendly which was greatly appreciated. He even left dog biscuits for our fur babies! :)
Dish soap, cleaning supplies, hand soap, bar soap, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dryer sheets and laundry soap was provided.
The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, appliances, utensils, baking pans, etc. There is also a large propane grill with grilling utensils on the deck. Bring your own foil, saran wrap, storage bags and Tupperware if you plan on cooking in. A drip coffee pot is provided with plenty of coffee filters.
I honestly have nothing negative to say about this property and would not hesitate to stay here again.
