Great location for the balloon festival, it was a nice set up for the interior of the property, the patio was my favorite place to sit and listen to music and read a book, we had an issue with shower handles and couldn't use one shower from the first day we were there. The residence had a musty smell in all rooms throughout our stay, so we kept the doors open the majority of time we stayed ther

We wanted to make our balloon fest experience fun and easy - and this place was the perfect place to stay. Clean and adorable, quiet neighborhood, and very close to all the festivities. Great communication from the property manager who really helped make our trip special. Looking forward to coming back!

Not up to usual VRBO experience
I am sorry to leave a negative review because the owner/manager of the property was very nice and responsive to calls and emails. However, the description and photos of the property are misleading. This is a manufactured home, probably 1980s vintage, in a neighborhood of many houses of the same kind and age. The neighborhood is directly adjacent to a heavy industrial area. Although the neighborhood seemed to be OK, many of the homes have bars on the windows which raises some questions about safety. With respect to the house itself, there have been a few cosmetic updates but as a whole it has seen better days. The flooring in the kitchen area was peeling up in spots and the carpet in the other rooms needs to be replaced. The dining room chairs were stained and dirty. The heating vents were full of dust and cobwebs and there was a musty odor throughout the house, maybe left over from previous tenants that smoked. The yard is a small strip between the units with a few newer plantings but not very inviting. On the plus side, the beds were fine, the bathrooms were clean, though dated, and there is an off-street carport for parking. Overall, though, this property does not live up to my usual experience with VRBO rentals and I can't recommend it.

Great stay!
I booked the rental last minute to go to ABQ for my daughter's award ceremony at UNM and was happy with the process. Communication with the host was quick and easy. House was clean and was stocked with basic essentials. We didn't cook there since we were just there for the weekend and wanted to eat local. Overall, great unit and I would definitely stay there again!

This was truly a "Little Gem"! Thank you for making our holiday stay so welcoming and homey :)

The nickname for this tiny house is "The Little Gem," and it is appropriately named! First off, the home is immaculate! It has a fully enclosed backyard, AND they allowed us to bring our four-legged fur babies. All of the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the neighborhood is quiet. We loved our stay! We were wondering if we could go ahead and make reservations NOW for next year's Balloon Fiesta, lol.

Definitely a little gem!
We were able to book this little gem last minute. Louise worked with us meeting all our needs. Communication was great the whole time. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed! The coffee bar was a plus! Beds were both really comfortable. It felt so cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet. We walked to the balloon fiesta park which was about 20 minutes. It wasn’t bad at all. We were also able to see a lot of the balloons flying over us from the house. There’s a brewery about 2-3 minute walk! Loved it! The coffee bar was a plus since coffee was provided! Definitely recommend this place and hope to come back another time!
