We could’ve been more happy with our style. Our host was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond. The place was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anybody.

Lynn and her family are amazing and so accommodating and welcoming! ❤️ She made sure we had everything we could possibly need for our stay and was very knowledgeable of the Kingsport area! She gave amazing recommendations on activities and restaurants. She is truly committed to quality service with her cottage and it shows! I enjoyed a quiet and relaxing stay at The Wright Place. Lynn was very welcoming and ensured that I had everything I needed before and during my stay. The cottage is well appointed and comfortable, with everything you need for your visit. There were even snacks on the counter in case I got a bit hungry!
The location is perfect--quiet, but a short drive from plenty of restaurants and stores.
If I find myself in Kingsport again, I'll definitely be back!

Location was close to everything Kingsport has to offer. It was very easy to find. Lynn was very kind and attentive to every detail/need. The accomodations were perfect for what we needed. Lynn also ensured that the essentials were covered. Very lovely stay and will check availability for her place on our next trip to Kingsport.

My mother and I came to Kingsport for a funeral and then to visit family. This was a very nice and quiet place to stay. Nice neighborhood and safe. Very clean and had everything I needed. The host was very nice and welcoming. Will definitely stay again when visiting family.

We stayed here to scope out possible retirement locations. Lynn and her family were awesome and informative. Everything in the cottage was great and you cant beat watching the deer in the yard. Highly recommend Lynn and we will definitely be returning.

This was the perfect little hideaway for my husband and I this weekend. Lynn the host went above and beyond and made us feel welcomed while we were away from home. Yhe place is just as described and Lynn makes every effort in her power to make your stay as accommodating, easy, warm and friendly as humanly possible!
I would highly reccomend this place as a place to stay for a couple or single needing a place to stay in the Kingsport area! We visited the LampLight Theater while there for a new year's event and loved the whold city and experience. Beautiful place to visit and Lynn os a wonderful Host to have!!!

Super friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful property that feels like a home away from home. The bed and pillows were great and not lumpy like some other properties we've stayed at. Will definitely keep this property in mind for when we go back to Kingsport.

My mom flew in from California and it was absolutely the best stay she has had in a while. Lynn and her husband were incredible from the night we met until the very last day. She was very attentive and let us know if anything was needed to let her know and you could tell she meant every word. I’m beyond grateful to have found a great place for my mom to stay during her visit! The home was so cozy and decorated for Halloween. It was a place where you KNOW you’re safe and feel relaxed. I would recommend this cute cottage to anyone!

I stayed here when visiting the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough. An easy 30 min drive from there, this cottage was the perfect retreat. The whole place was decorated for Halloween/Fall, which was so adorable and made me feel so very welcome. There were thoughtful details everywhere, like snacks in the kitchen and toiletry items in case I had forgotten anything in the bathroom. The bed and couch were both super comfy. Outdoor area was also lovely and peaceful. Lynn was a great communicator and made me feel very well cared for. I had no concerns during my stay, but I feel like if I had Lynn would have helped out right away. Property and neighborhood felt very safe for a solo traveler. Peaceful but still nearby grocery store in lots of restaurants. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about our week long stay. The little house was the perfect size, great location, very clean, all the things we needed to feel right at home. Close to everything yet quiet enough to see deer everyday. Lynn was an absolutely amazing hostess, if we needed anything she was more than accommodating.

We have stayed many places and have never had such amazing hospitality. I believe there are some people who have been put on this earth by God to represent him fully and this family is definitely 1 of them. We truly came as guest and left feeling as if we are family. We will be returning next year!

This was practically perfect for my needs. Last minute reservation- needed seclusion, time for reflection, and access to family events. Lynn the owner, is exceptional in communication. They met me in the driveway (main house & this guest house share a driveway- but there is a designated parking spot for their guest) and helped carry my baggage back to the guest house. They familiarized me with everything, gave me the keys, let me borrow an umbrella, invited me to dinner and excused themselves so I could settle in. The kitchenette was nicely stocked for my stay- oh the popcorn, cookies, bagels, and waters were very much appreciated. The leather couch and the rocking chair made the living area cozy. I am used to surround sound, so the tv speaker on both tv's helped limit tv time. I did have to hold the handle for the toilet to fully flush- which didn't bother me, so I didn't mention that until now. Loved that the shower stall had a showerhead with a hose so I could rinse my long hair with ease. The towels were very nice and thick. The bed was comfy esp w/ 6 pillows (preferred the bedding that was on the bed- than pictured) I was conerned about the a/c being a window unit upstairs, however, it was in the upper 80's & humid outside, and it was nice inside (actually I turned it up to get warmer). It wasn't clamy at all- like hotels get. A ceiling fan over the bed was just like home. A sympathy card was so heartfelt. Loved the hosts & accommodations.

Over all this booking was phenomenal! The owners went above and beyond with literally everything. They helped my partner with a surprise for me for our anniversary dessert, have wonderful suggestions for eating, were Knowledgeable of the area and things to do. Fast and effective communication. Wonderfully maintained space. Will be booking again in the near future. Beautiful quiet and tucked away. We absolutely loved it - anniversary for long distance couple get away was an absolute success thanks to Lynn and her husband! <3

The lodge and host was wonderful enjoyed our days with our morning visit from the deer and the walking trail less than a mile away. Our host was very reactive to all our needs. If I ever was in the area again I would stay here, perfect for a couple.

I will stay again. I enjoyed sitting and watching fire flies on the second night of my stay, and the visit from the dogs since I was away from my own pups. Very accommodating and comfy bed I slept very well and it was overall warm and inviting. I would stay again.

We pulled up to the property and one of the host was there waiting for us. Everything was clearly explained to us on how to operate everything. A tour was provided to us, with my son being Autistic they made special accommodation and did not push him on talk or interaction with them. They even got him a gift to help him with the transition to being in a new place and set up a special area for him to sleep. We could not have asked to have been treated any better. We were conveniently located to shopping and restaurants, however I loved that they had a stove and provided items for me to be able to cook for my son and I. I highly recommend this place to anyone and as soon as I know the dates for the convention next year we will definitely be back.

My husband and I came to Kingsport to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and what a gem we found! The Wrights were very hospitable and gracious hosts. The house was well stocked and anything that we needed, Miss Lynn was glad to bring it to us. She greeted us at the driveway and helped us bring in our bags at 11 pm. The house is close to town, but the deer and squirrels are right at home. Even though it rained a good bit during our trip, it was only a short drive to downtown Kingsport, and the Bristol Caverns. The Exchange Place is just up the road from the house. We look forward to coming back!

Husband and wife met us as we pulled in and offered to help carry in as well and their little. Very thoughtful but after a 10 hour drive we needed just a minute to regroup. Very clean and in a safe centrally located neighborhood. The morning deer visits were lovely as well.

Cabin was great. Couldn't have asked for better to be honest. Clean and stocked for just about any need. From the moment we were met outside to get the key to the last second before we left, our host Lynn was as perfect as we could have ever asked for. We can not praise her enough for how special and easy she made our stay.

Lynn is an amazing host and the property and experience are a direct reflection of her passion and empathy for others. You feel so welcome from the moment you arrive until you depart. The great little cottage is so spacious, warm and cozy. The perfect accomodations throughout and a great place to tuck into a book or enjoy a cup of coffee. Although our schedule dictated that we were out and about most of the weekend, we always looked forward to landing back at the cottage. Don't hesitate a moment to book this place!

I booked a 2 night stay for my husband and son while they attended the Bristol Dirt Race. Lynn had decorated the cottage for Easter and made it so welcoming! She even created a scavenger hunt for my son which ended with a gift. This was also Easter weekend. Lynn put together an Easter basket for my son because she knew he would be away from home and may not get one. She was so kind and so sweet to my guys.
The cottage was close to the track, very clean, adorable and comfy. My son said the bed gave him the best sleep he's ever had! Most importantly, the whole experience made us feel like we were dealing with a close friend who truly cared about us.

Lynn is a rare jewel of a person who was amazing to communicate with from the first hello. The home had all that we needed and then some. Lynn goes above and beyond for her guests. From plush quality towels to pots, pans and utensils, a coffee machine and snacks - streaming capability and wifi, beatiful grounds with the sounds of birds chirping and the occasional visit of beautiful deer, this place had it all.
Lynns husband Doug, son, and parents are all sweethearts, one as kind as the other.
A home away from home. It was the perfect place for us and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

This is a rare gem! I was a guest of the Wrights in this comfy cottage for three extended weekends this month. These folks are the kindest human being this side of heaven!!! They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and convenience at EVERY turn! They were thoughtful and considerate, providing little extras here and there, making my time away from my family a bit sweeter:)

My trip to Kingsport was to watch my daughter compete in swim for her college. I found Lynn’s cottage and immediately booked. She is a fabulous hostess who does extra to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. She had treats and snacks for me upon arrival. She even had a card for my mom who had broken her hip. She is very thoughtful and caring, even for people she’s never met. The cottage was spotless and charming. I hope to visit Kingsport again and be able to visit more than their Aquatic Center. When I do, I’ll be staying at The Wright Place again.

This was our first time renting this cottage. Don’t let the square footage detour you because the space it just right for a couple. We stayed over the New Year holiday and it was still decorated for Christmas which was absolutely perfect. Lyn was so easy to deal with. She’s by far one of the best hosts we’ve ever had. She makes you feel at home and like one of the family. The area is really nice, you’re not too far away from stores. The highlight for us was on our last night; we had 6 deer right outside the cottage. I highly recommend staying here!
