We had 10 adults (5 couples) and 3 children for our week at the cabin. The bedroom configuration worked well for us and the extra twin beds in some of the king bedrooms were great for the young children. It was a good base location for hiking, grocery stores in Truckee and Kings Beach, and lake activities at Kings Beach. We made several trips to North Tahoe Regional Park for the wonderful playground and Tahoe Treehouse Adventures. We dined out one night at Jason’s in Kings Beach and cooked in the other 6 nights. The kitchen had an ample supply of plates, cups and flatware for our group. The cookware was adequate; however I would suggest that the “non stick” skillets be replaced and that new plastic utensils be supplied for them. We would have used the nice gas grill but it ran out of propane a few minutes after it was lit.
One potential hazard was the dishwasher door, which had a faulty hinge and would hit the floor when opened.
Everyone enjoyed the pool table!!!
We did use the hot tub twice, once the air had cooled at night, and it was an enjoyable plus. We found several box fans in the closets, which helped cool the house during the very warm days we were there.
All in all, a great family vacation- thanks for sharing the cabin with us!

Sandy's house was wonderful and comfortably fit everyone in our group. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub was nice and hot! Sandy's team was also very communicative which was extremely helpful as we went up during a big storm and there was a lot of uncertainty around our stay. Once we were there we were impressed by how people came regularly to shovel the back deck and plows were pretty regular allowing us to get out on the slopes even during a giant storm. Our group would definitely stay here again.

Great house for a big group skiing around Lake Tahoe. Close proximity to Northstar and Palisades. 7 minutes from grocery store. Staff was also very communicative which helped throughout the planning process and during our stay. 7 bedrooms with 9 beds and an air mattress made it easy for a group of 10 guys. Would stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures and description, perfect for our group of friends. Nicely equipped, has all the basics for a long stay. The beds were comfortable and enough space for all. Location great. We took advantage of exploring the hiking trails from the house and going back and forth to the lake, bars and restaurants in town was a breeze. Clean comfortable and convenient. We'd stay there again.

Annual family vacation with our children and grandchildren, a total of nine adults and five kids and the house handled this size group with ease. Great location and we had lots of fun, especially playing pool and enjoying the back deck. The house was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. Plenty of rooms, everything you could possibly need, spectacular location, tons of activities, excellent communication with our host. Would highly recommend this property.

House was ok, needs a bit of TLC and overall cleaning. BBQ was burn out couldn't use, alot of lights burn out, 2 smoke detectors started chirping changed one of the batteries. Couch was horrible, slid on floor when you would sit in it. Would be a good house just needs some updating.

The home was beautiful and cozy. There was nothing left to want, kitchen was stocked with dishes for meals, nice bedrooms with TV’s and comfortable beds and a pool table for entertainment. Very peaceful neighborhood close to Kings Beach and shopping. We really enjoyed the back deck to soak in the atmosphere with hot tub and views. Communication and check in were a breeze, Sandy was a great host.

Lake Tahoe Retreat
We had a great time staying at this location with our family. Everything was ready to go, very clean and everything that they mentioned in the VRBO description. We would absolutely come back if we travel again to this area. Thank you for being very good hosts!

Definitely recommend.
First off, we love the location. All the ski resorts were within a 20 min drive, the lake 3 miles, casinos, stores, restaurants right down the street. All the details of the house are carefully designed. Many cozy areas around the house to relax. Beautiful views from the living and dining area. Very large master bedroom and all beds COMFORTABLE!! Well stocked and equipped with many necessities and niceties. Ken is extremely attentive, responsive and a kind host. He went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and help us. It was a pleasure staying at the cabin. We will be back.

Older home that will leave wishing you booked something else
This is an Older home that hasn't been updated in a long time. Definitely not worth the price we paid. I wouldn't be as unhappy if the price was more in line with what this home had to offer. Living space feels small. Old kitchen cabinets, old appliances. The fridge doesn't seem to get cold enough. Greasy tea kettle. Furniture is not the same you see in the pictures. Sleeping quarters feel cramped. Bed sheets have yellow tinge to them due to their age or lack of washing. Thermostats are very outdated and hard to dial in to achieve comfortable temperatures. no garage. If you are the kind of a person that is happy with bare necessities this home is for you otherwise skip this one. Your $$$ will be better spent elsewhere.

Fall getaway
This was a family fall get away. The location was perfect for us and our dog, remote but close to town. The home was well stocked and the beds, linens and pillows were so comfortable. Nice views from the deck and living area. Kitchen provided plenty of options for cooking. We loved the hot tub on the deck. All rooms were well decorated to make us feel at home. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place. Perfect location. Clean, comfortable, felt like home.
The property was perfect for our family. Our 3 kids loved sharing the large bedroom downstairs and exploring all the hiking trails in the neighborhood. We loved the location, views, trails and proximity to town. Property was extremely clean and had many useful amenities like shampoo/conditioner and other assorted bathroom products. We spent our time cooking and there was nothing we lacked in the kitchen. Bedrooms were big and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend to others.
