About this cabin rental
Our cabin in the woods, backs up to Boone National Forest. You can sit in the hot tub on the screened in porch and take in all that nature has to offer while listening to the stream directly behind the house. This cabin offers the space for family and friends to gather and enjoy a relaxing vacation. Whether you are up for a relaxing time spent on one of the beautiful decks overlooking the wooded forest. There is large deck with tables and chairs where you my sit under the canopy of trees, or if you prefer, there is also a screened in portion of the deck, with a fire table and hot tub where you can relax and take in nature from there as well. If you are up for playing games indoors, the finished basement offers an air hockey table, and a big screen TV, along with various board games. There is plenty of space for a group of 10+ to enjoy time together or spread out throughout the house. There are 2 large bedrooms upstairs, one large bedroom downstairs, with an open basement with bunkbeds.
While staying in this cabin you can enjoy a walk through the woods along the creek behind the house, or sit by the firepit at night enjoying some stargazing. There are also tennis courts and pickleball courts just up the street, and access to 3 different swimming pools throughout the resort. Find the escape that is right for you at Rollin' to Stoneybrook, with the peaceful mountains, and the sounds of nature offered by the forest that surrounds Lake Cumberland. Whether you are interested in playing on the lake or just enjoying some fishing, there is lake access with a boat ramp just one mile from the cabin. General Burnside State park is near by offering additional lake access, swimming, and a beautiful golf course. Burnside Marina is also a close 10 mile drive from the cabin offering various types of watercraft rentals.

If you are like to stay off the beaten path this cabin is for you! The resort was about 15 minutes to Burnside and surrounded by beautiful scenery. You do have neighbors but everyone is super nice!
There was 8 of us in my family that went for our annual family vacation and the cabin was plenty big enough for us all! 3 full bathrooms, bedrooms are spacious, kitchen was supplied with all the cooking materials we needed. You have two porches to choose from. The top floor porch wrapped around the side of the house to the back with plenty of seating and beautiful views. The bottom porch was smaller but screened in, the hot tub and little propane fire pit in there, we enjoyed our times on both porches! There is a fire pit at the bottom of the property but we did not go down there.
Grocery store is about 30 minutes away but there is a little store at the resort and dollar generals around.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and have no complaints!

The property was great, the only thing that was a little challenging for us was we have a large pontoon boat that we towed to the property. Turning the boat around was very difficult so we made the decision to leave the boat at the community dock which was fine. The dock was great and we loved the property. The owner was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this property to others just know before you pull the boat down into the street for the property it is very tight and you may want to store it at the dock.

We had a great stay at this cabin. The creek out back was very relaxing to sit by and listen to. The cabin was very spacious and clean. If we needed anything, the property owner was very attentive and quick to get back to us.

We spent 4 days of our grandkids’ fall break in the cottage. It was just as described and suited our needs well. We took several hikes in the area that were a short drive away. Lots of vista views that we really enjoyed.

What a beautiful home and it sit in a beautiful mountain setting . Had everything you needed. The pools were clean . The Host was so nice and had anticipated her guest every need. Was just perfect for our family reunion. Plenty of room and activites for everyone from the kid to grandparents. We will definitely be back. Best cabin we have found in last 3 years. We would give it ten stars if we could.

This place was perfect. The only sounds were the birds chirping and the creek trickling. The road up to the resort is long and very curvy. If you are planning on going out a lot you may consider a place closer to town as it is a 15 minute drive to just the hwy. But if you want to take groceries, eat in, relax in a quiet, clean, fully stocked, comfortable home then this is it. Perfect for families with two completely private bedrooms upstairs for adults then multiple beds in the basement area for kids and teens. All doors have two locks. Entry through gate and into home could not have been easier.

We were looking for a decent sized cabin for our group of adults and children. Alana’s place surpassed all expectations, we absolutely loved it! There was plenty of space for all of us and 2 small dogs. The kids loved the basement and hot tub. We only had 2 small issues, the kitchen sink drained slow and the tv speaker would go in and out but those were very minuscule in comparison to Alana’s hospitality and her cozy cabin. We will definitely return in the summer time to enjoy Lake Cumberland!

We rented 3 cabins within the resort so family from 3 states could come together to celebrate. The Cain was splendidly equipped with everything you could need during your vacation. The children loved the downstairs and the adults loved the hot tub. Absolutely fabulous place and host!

The place was exactly as advertised. It was extremely clean and accommodating. I really liked fridge downstairs close to the hot tub. I wish there was somewhere else to use the fire pit other than directly in front of the house, but that is no fault to the property owners. Very nice place. I would stay here again.

Summer 22 Family Stay
We had an awesome time at this cabin. We had 3 different families, with different aged children so fortunately there was plenty of space. The adults took the upstairs and the kids had the whole downstairs to themselves. Air hockey, home theater, they loved it. The cabin is furnished with all supplies you need for your stay. The bbq grill and hot tub were a plus as well. Everything was clean and the space was very cozy. Alana (the hostess) was awesome. If you need anything, just message. She responds pretty quickly. We will definitely stay again.
