Located in the heart of historic downtown Wabasha, we are stepping stones away from everything you will want to see and do! This private little condo has a comfy queen bed, full kitchen, 2 person jacuzzi tub, bath w/shower, futon couch that folds down to a full size bed, recliner chair, air conditioning, WI-FI & YouTube TV. Sleeps 2-4 people. Private, quiet, non smoking, no pets. This is the lower unit available in this building.

Walking distance to the National Eagle Center, Mississippi Parkside Boat Marina, historical tours, river walking path, free under the bridge entertainment, quaint shops, fishing, public beach, parks, pubs and restaurants including Slippery's (made famous by Grumpy Old Men movies).

When I first saw the place, my heart sank. Dirty and grungy and full of webs and bugs on the outside. But the interior was quite nice. I only noticed 2 minor things -- mop board below the toilet paper was dirty, and the vent fan needs to be cleaned. We had a good stay. Hot tub is perfectly functional. Easy walking distance to National Eagle Center, river walking paths, restaurants/bars.

The pics shown are not exactly as is. The outside landscape was in dire shape, overgrown weeds, broken branches. The furniture not same as pictured. The futon couch was an early American floral print, corner chair and ottoman did not match. Not saying this was bad, just not what was pictured. There was no bedspread on the bed, only a banket, again not shown, but warm enough. Utensils were mismatched (maybe yard sale or spares from somewhere.) The only bowls available i.e., for cereal or soup were two ramekins and the only actual drinking glasses were two small plastic tupperware size. There were wine glasses, champagne, parfait, again - looked like whatever could be scrounged up. The toilet low to the ground and very small. You can hear upstairs occupants, walking around, moving furniture, muffled conversations. The entry door is actually facing an alleyway which fronts backs of businesses and restaurants. A few times we were blocked in by delivery trucks. Parking is sporadic to get right in front, but most of the time cars are lined up and down the alley. Parking across from it is for that property only. There is a parking lot down the street, but not a safe feeling walking to the condo- street not lit up well. Now granted, we really only used this for sleeping arrangements and coffee, breakfast rolls, cereal - we were visiting family in town. We were comfortable, but most likely would not repeat a stay here. We saw other similar priced properties, nicer equipped.

Ben was absolutely a wonderful communicator. There was a slight oops with the water (due to the City of Wabasha) Ben was ready and had communicated with a local hotel to accommodate our stay. Thankfully the City was able to fix the water and we were able to stay.

Make sure ALL is cleaned. Coffee pot was needed and was still dirty upon arrival. No facial wash clothes anywhere to be found. Other things needed to make it more homey but will stay there again.

Ben did a great job, and the place was clean and everything was great, I did notice there wasn’t any replacement trash bags so we did the best we could with cleanup and made sure to organize things a bit before we left. Perfect place to relax in the evening and explore the sights of Wabasha during the day!

Convenient to downtown Wabasha shopping and dining. Comfortable for two. The Jacuzzi tub, being such a central feature, could have been cleaned better, as could a few other areas. Otherwise, a good spot if you’re looking to spend a few days in the area.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Wabasha at this property. Perfect amount of space for a couple to enjoy and the whirlpool tub was amazing to relax in at the end of the day! Communications with the seller were excellent and gaining access to the property was a breeze. The property is very near the water, though there isn't a direct view. We would definitely stay here again!

My hubby and I celebrated our 34th anniversary and decided to go to Wabasha for the long weekend. We loved the whirlpool tub, comfy bed and super close proximity to many fun things! We even got to see a Viking Cruise Ship go down the river!

While the condo was a little difficult to find and a tad confusing with the door numbering; my sister and i throughly enjoyed our stay. Easy to walk to restaurants, bars, thrift shops and to the beach. Towels, sheets, were nice but pillows were flat.

The small space of the property outside was not very welcoming. The path to the condo was narrow and the weeds hid the overgrown bushes, and the tree limbs need to be trimmed because they are beginning to hang over the deck to the condo. The condo looked clean when entering, however, there were crumbs on both the couch and chair. In the bathroom, there was hair on the mirror, floor and on the toilet between the tank and the seating area. When unpacking our cooler, some water was dripped on the floor and when I went to wipe up the drips, the paper towel was black. I do not think the flooring has been washed or vacuumed in a while along with the furniture. The refrigerator could use cleaning where the drawers are held. There are crumbs and dried on liquid on the runners. The towels and bedding were clean. There is a small amount of expired food products in the cupboard along with a flask containing alcohol. I would like to suggest that all food items be thrown out after guest's have check-out. These items listed above having me thinking that the condo is being used in between bookings.

We had never been to Wabasha before, note to self, this is a seasonal town, NOTHING was open. This is the town where Grumpy Old Men was filmed and could not visit any of the places because they were closed for the season. The place we stayed at was very clean, however we only had half a roll of toilet paper for the whole weekend and no extra rolls to be had. The shower had a rinky dink shower head, the bed was VERY hard. Was a nice place but the entrance is literally right next to the Chinese place and parking was not good. The river was only a little bit away, could see it from the door of the place. I guess all in all this was not worth the almost $500 we paid for the weekend. Probably would not stay here again.

Perfect getaway for us

We’re parents of four, and wanted to get away for a couple of nights to somewhere quiet, bit with places to eat, hike, and explore. Wabasha is a sweet location for us, and this little condo was just right— right by the river walk, just behind the downtown shops and restaurants, and barely steps from the fabulous Herb and Arrow pizza place. The place is warm and cozy, spacious enough, and very clean. We enjoyed the kitchen, jacuzzi, and Roku tv, and hiked across the river at Thrive! Park. Thanks for a great stay.

Nothing fancy but location was great, close to everything in town. Could use a few updates like a plastic shower curtain and decent shower head, water gets all over the floor every time it’s used. We also found a stick of used butter on a plate when we opened the cupboard door, you’d think that would be found by the cleaner but maybe not. Overall our stay was good.

The property was clean and nice. The shower is intense/high pressure and makes a huge watery mess throughout the bathroom, but everything else was just fine. The area was quiet and easy to access. We were able to walk to all the Wabasha sights we wanted to see. We could hear the people above us moving around a bit, so if you are looking for privacy and a feeling of seclusion, this probably isn't the place for you. Overall a clean and comfortable place to stay!

Nice location. When I made the reservation the previous owner had outdoor pictures that made it seem like this location was facing the river. The new owner has posted pictures that better match the area.Our reservation was canceled because the property was sold but we were able to reschedule the reservation with the new owner. The process was very easy and the lady I worked with (Katie I think) was extremely nice.Step was broken leading up to the outside door which I tripped on. There is a small entrance before going into the room. That entrance had some cobwebs that I walked into right when I opened the door.The room itself was nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. It was quiet and we enjoyed our time we spent in the room.I would stay here again if in the area.
