Sapphire Beach, located on the South Coast of Barbados, is a luxurious beachfront condo complex situated on Dover Beach in the popular St. Lawrence Gap. The property benefits from stunning bedroom and balcony panoramic ocean views, two large beach front pools, Italian designed kitchen, elevators, 24hr security, gated private parking, gardens and a fitness center.

The unit comprises of 3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms. The listed rate is for 2 bedrooms. 3 bedroom rate given when specifying 7 guests.

LISTED RATE IS FOR 2 BEDROOMS. AFTER YOUR BOOKING REQUEST WE WILL CONFIRM WITH YOU THAT ONLY 2 BEDROOMS ARE REQUIRED.

1 BEDROOM OF 3 BEDROOMS IS LOCKED OFF IN 2 BEDROOM CONFIGURATION.

TO REQUEST 3rd Bedroom:

For Premium Winter (15th Dec-10th Jan), School Vacation (~19th Feb-25 Feb) and Crop Over(~27 Jul-5 Aug) bedrooms will be always provided so select LESS THAN 7 GUESTS otherwise you will be charged an unnecessary extra $100.

Outside this timeframe SPECIFY 7 GUESTS to automatically indicate that you require a 3rd bedroom.

Again outside this timeframe If you needed 3 bedrooms and you don't select 7 people only the 2 bedroom rates will show and I will have to adjust the rates after the fact adding an extra $100/night to your reservation in order to provide the third room.

This luxury apartment is located on the second floor (three floors up) and has been tastefully furnished by the owners. It can be rented as a two or three bedroom unit and comes complete with air-conditioning and ceiling fans throughout.

The unit comprises of 3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms ( 2 en-suite ), Open plan living / dining area with additional outdoor dining on the patio with an electric grill available.

The kitchen has all upgraded modern conveniences including microwave, air fryer, kitchen under sink water filter, fridge / freezer, countertop hob and oven, 2 full size sinks with waste disposal, toaster, kettle, super automatic coffee machine (bring your own whole coffee beans), SodaStream, hand blender, hand mixer, mini food processor, electric pressure cooker, pancake/waffle maker and even an egg maker. The separate laundry room has a washer and dryer and a wireless hand vacuum for quick cleanup tasks.

There is high speed mesh wireless internet throughout with an additional beach facing directional antenna. Cable TVs in both the living room and master bedroom with Chromecasts connected to both TVs. All rooms have their own bedside Alexa clock music systems. There is also a safe for your valuables.

Enjoyment and Entertainment: There are lounge chairs and tables around the 2 pools within the complex.

On the beach, available for hire, are lounge chairs with umbrellas together with the facilities provided by the beach activity shop. Surfing lessons can also be obtained from the local surf shop located very close by.

A number of restaurants and food kiosks are located nearby providing a variety of eating options and varying price brackets.

Restaurants, pubs and clubs are a 5-10min stroll up ‘The Gap’ which has abundant night life and entertainment.

Other island interests are catamaran cruises, which include swimming with turtles and investigating wrecks. There are also sunset cruises with dining. Other activities are safaris, underground cave excursions, etc. We can gladly assist with more details on these excursions and we also have an actively maintained blog with this information.

The location of this unit is second to none. The property Owner goes above and beyond to ensure a welcome arrival and smooth departure. The location is just steps from Dover beach and a short walk to many fantastic restaurants and nightlife. It is a wonderful location for a family trip or group of friends looking to relax and enjoy some Caribbean vibes. The Owner provides options for those who want to stay plugged in to social media and the world around them but we loved being able to disconnect and soak up the sun and adventures around us each day. Overall, a spectacular home base to see Barbados we will definitely come back!!!!

I have travelled extensively and am accustomed to a certain standard in my accommodations. This unit exceeded all expectations. They thought of everything to make sure we were comfortable during our stay. No creature comfort was lacking and the ease with which we were able to contact the host with any questions, made us feel all the more relaxed and taken care of. The location is great for entertainment, restaurants and of course, the BEACH! I highly recommend this property and would definitely choose it again...and again.

Great location, but find something better
The location of villa was great, few minutes away from nightlife & restaurants. The villa itself is not luxurious, none of the TVs worked during my 5 day stay. Air conditioning wasn’t blowing cold air. Furniture & appliances was wear & tear. Back porch ceiling fan had huge chip, which after my stay the owner tired to make me pay for! Knowing that’s how she handed the home over to me. You would need a ladder to even reach the ceiling fan on the porch, it turns on from inside. I didn’t complain not once about the villa to owners. You get what you pay for, but for her to try and make money off me after my visit was disgusting. I took care of the home as if it was my own, very disappointed she would accuse me of chipping a high ceiling fan that was clearly there before me. The security at the gates of this villa changes everyday, but they’re very rude to guest. Never got chance to use the pool, but It looked nice, beach entrance right next to it. Housekeepeing only came once during my 5 night stay. If your looking for luxury & respectful security find something different. If your looking for convenient location & the chance of being accused of damaging something to be scammed out of money then hey

Had a wonderful holiday in every way. Beautiful Barbados weather throughout and the perfect place to stay. The apartment is beautifully decorated, so comfortable and well equipped. Truly a home away from home. Everyone so friendly and helpful. Perfect location, cool, overlooking the beach and the clear blue sea. The well known St Lawrence Gap is a minutes walk - a "must to visit". Within a 10-15 minute walk through, there are numerous restaurants and bars to choose from and shops where you can buy local merchandise including "Bajan food" - Delicious!!!! Car not required. We will be back and already looking forward to that.

Having visited Barbados many times and have used cheaper accommodation self-catering and also all inclusive, we watched Sapphire Beach being built. We decided that we would like to stay at Sapphire Beach not only for the location but also the fact that the Apartments are luxury apartments. We were not disappointed, the apartment is fully fitted with every amenities, breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea, cannot be beaten, sitting on the comfortable loungers on the balcony at any time of the day overlooking the pool, gardens and sea is very relaxing. The apartment lives up to the description, everyone is welcoming and friendly, cannot wish for anything more, we would recommend it to anyone.

Barbados is beautiful, hot and vibrant with colour. The sea water was very warm in February and the sun extremely powerful. It is an Island surrounded blue water and white sands. A perfect combination! Our unit was beautiful, air-conditioned, well equipped and had a specular view of the ocean and pool. We arrived late at night and encountered no hiccups. It is fully air-conditioned if you prefer, or just open the sliding doors onto the refreshing see breeze. Our Condo was very spacious and even with six adults – there was no encroaching on anyone else. Sitting on the balcony in the mornings is to me the best part of the vacation, listening to the waves and watching beach come alive. Two rooms had en-suite bathrooms and the third bedroom had a bathroom next to it. The access to the beach is easy and the beach furniture is available at a very low rental costs. If you prefer the pool – the furniture is part of the complex. At St. Lawrence Gap, grocery shopping is available within walking distance as well as further into town (10 minutes) if you so desire. You can either cook your own meals or walk around “The Gap” to find something local to eat. The food is safe and absolutely delicious. We wanted to hire a chef for two nights to who cooked local dishes for us. We purchased the ingredients required and he cooked, served us and cleaned up after –it was perfect! All arranged by the condo representative – Trudy Gibbs. At the “Gap” local cooking is available at any time as well as fancier restaurants. Every restaurant or café was very clean and service was great. Casual strolls, no matter what hour of the day or night will find you good food and lively music. We were totally relaxed walking around, which is refreshing change from hotel resorts. The shops are quaint and very reasonable. No matter where you walked the ocean was always right there!

Once you've made the smart decision to visit Barbados, look no further! This apartment is in excellent shape, well appointed, secure, exclusive, on prime beach-front and in a convenient location. After 2 trips here, I look forward to the next... The beach is semi-exclusive, white sands with crystal turquoise waters. On both trips sightings of sea turtles were common. There are chairs and umbrellas available to rent at reasonable rates. With the beach bar close by all you need is sunscreen, a towel and some shades to block the abundant sun. The apartment is located on the St. Lawrence Gap (research will tell you that's the place to be) and has bars, nightlife, restaurants, groceries, some shopping and even a car rental all in walking distance. It is also only 20 minutes from the airport and a just a few minutes from the popular Oistins Fish Market. The apartment has everything you need to relax, cook, entertain and make the most of your stay. Split with a few couples, it is far more value than a hotel and lots more comfortable. With the grocery close by, you can't go wrong. If the pictures haven't sold you on the place, nothing I write here will. If you can pull yourself away from the beach, my opinion is that the best restaurant on the gap is Pisces, but there are about a dozen others to choose from in the vicinity. The nightlife varies depending on the season and the night. The large park across the street is always humming with football and cricket matches. Friday nights are the nights to go to Oistins for seafood, music and local crafts. At the end of the day, about the only thing missing is my return ticket to go back. You can't go wrong staying here.
