Casa Chelis is located just 4 blocks away from downtown La Fortuna, excellent location to explore La Fortuna, all main attractions are 10 to 30 minutes drive from the house. The house has 3 bedrooms with double bed each one, A/C units in each bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, Smart TV, WiFi (100 Megabytes - Very stable service), private pool, laundry machine, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ and private parking. Great option for families, friends and couples traveling together.
The neighborhood is very secure and calm, due to the location you will be quite close from town but a bit away enough to avoid the downtown noise. Due to the house location (4 blocks from downtown La Fortuna) is not necessary have a car during your stay because everything is close by, you have options to walk around or we will offer a lot of options to choose from about activities.

We loved our stay! Staying in an authentic Costa Rican home was soo cool ! We had all of the amenities we needed for our stay. Having a pool was a plus even though we didn’t use it much. We had an awesome view of the volcano! Thank you for the memories !

Fantastic location in downtown La Fortuna. Great for walking to supermarkets, the park, coffee shops, bars, and restaurants in La Fortuna. The pool and patio make for a perfect place to relax after hiking and adventuring around Arenal. Highly recommend!

This property was just as described and lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, the close walk to town, the safety of the area, and the owners we quick and helpful to respond. The pool was a great feature in which the kids took full advantage. The House of Tours quickly and promptly helped us arrange a tour with a great price. Would definately stay again and recommend to others!

This is a fine spot just off the well-worn areas of La Fortuna. It’s a great home base for daily excursions to the area. Exceptionally clean. Had some pretty weird. But that’s just minor complaint. You will be happy here.

This house had plenty of room for our family of 4. We loved having the kitchen and living area, as well as outdoor eating and lounging space. The pool was so pretty. Communication with owners and simple. The location makes it easy to walk into town or up to the market to grab essentials. I’d definitely stay here again.

We were very happy with our stay at Villa Chelis. House is situated a short 7min walk to town, a 5min walk to grocery and a 10min drive to the Waterfall. The House was perfect size for us (we had 4 adults in our group), it was clean, the pool and covered deck were a great place to start our day with a coffee and finish with a drink by the pool. Great experience.

I would highly recommend this home. Very clean and within walking distance to downtown. We even booked our excursions through them. Home is equipped with everything needed. They provided thourgouh directions, instructions and lots of options for daily activities. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Overall, a wonderful home and experience!

Great little house right near the center of town. Perfect location. Loved having a pool. Having air conditioning was a huge plus. Property manager was really terrific and helped us with other excursions. I would definitely recommend this place

Property was located in residential setting in which close to town centre which was nice as you could walk there,however neighborhood had properties with barred windowed and entrances giving an impression it was an unsafe area. Property itself was older and although was clean did feel old. Kitchen when arrived had a strong negative odour which the property manager did attend too rather quickly when requested. Also tv’ a we’re not working initially but again property manager did attend too and by replacing batteries was able to get working. Overall place was okay.

We stayed a week here and enjoyed the house and pool. Very safe location with a view of the volcano. Only thing I’d change is adding foam covers to the mattresses, they are a bit too hard.

The house was smaller than expected but was great for what we needed. 2 adults and 3 kids between ages 15 and 19. Kitchen supply the necessary things needed for coffee in the morning and light meals. Dont expect to cook a five course meal in this kitchen. 😋 pool and patio extended the living space. Close to a grocery store. Smart tvs and adequate wifi. Neighborhood felt safe. Management team was fantastic and very responsive with questions and recommendations.

What a nice little house. Cool and comfy. The bedrooms were good. Bathrooms leave a little to be desired but it didn't seem to matter. The patio and pool area are very nice. We recommend it!

Quaint little house within walking distance of La Fortuna park and restaurant area. Great view of volcán Arenal. Stalked well with towels, bedding, kitchen appliances and gadgets. Shower temp and pressure were great! Cute little pool and patio, just enough for the kids to cool off after outings. We loved being able to stay in a safe neighborhood and walk around the area, felt like a more authentic experience.

The property was exactly what 4 friends needed. It is a 3 bedroom, and has 2 bathrooms, though one does not have a sink (only toilet and shower). The check in process was clear and easy, and they were able to assist us when we ended up being delayed and arriving late at night. The property has a nice outside area with a pool and many birds flying overhead around sunset time.
The beds were a bit too firm for my taste, but okay for 3 days. They also have a washing machine which was helpful during our stay. Overall a great experience. Would recommend.

The property was as described. My wife, daughter, and I had a great time here. The property management company spoke English and were super helpful. They gave GREAT recommendations on activities and restaurants. A bit of a far walk to town (close to a mile, I think), so we drove when we needed to go there.

We had an amazing vacation in La Fortuna. The home we rented was very comfortable and the management company was awesome. They were incredibly helpful and available prior to our arrival via what’s app and the entire time we spent in La Fortuna. The home was perfectly located less than a 10 minute walk from the center of town where there are many shoppes and restaurants to choose from. We felt welcome and safe everywhere we went!!!

Great Location w/Private Pool
We were very happy with Casa Chelis. The A/C in the bedrooms kept them cold. The pool was great for the kids. The location to downtown La Fortuna was excellent. The owners/property management Home Vacations helped us with tours and excursions and set us up with several private tours that were excellent. Definitely recommend this place.

Great location & cute home
This property was nice with a mid century modern feel. The pool was amazing with a view of Arenal! It was in a sweet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown La Fortuna. We didn’t cook here, so I can’t speak to using the kitchen other than making coffee.

Charming clean and close to town
The pool is wonderful! Especially after a 4 hour hike at 1968. The covered patio is great for family meals. We could not get the gas to work to cook but there were many other cooking options available. Beds comfy. Highly recommend and would return to this property.

Convenient Location in Residential Neighborhood
The property was very conveniently located a few blocks from downtown La Fortuna in a local residential neighborhood. It was clean and the pool and yard were nice to hang out in. The property itself was small, but for our group of 4 it was perfect. The beds are doubles, so that is a challenge for adults, but we made it work.

Great location
Overall a great place to stay. It is just far enough away from the town center that it is quiet but close enough you can walk to everything. The pool is amazing and we had everything we needed. The only complaint was the master bedroom bed. It was the hardest most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on. We did not sleep well at all. This would be 5 stars if the bed was comfortable.

Short Walk to Adventures
Found this home at short notice and we really lucked out. Hosts were immediately responsive to our need for bedside tables for medical equipment and lamps. Greatly enjoyed the pool, the patio area and the neighborhood, and the adventures of La Fortuna area. Would return again.

Great stay in La Fortuna
Good communications and accurate description of the property. It was clean and private and was within easy walking distance of many restaurants. Also booked several excursions with the management company that included transportation, white water rafting, zip line, and horseback. Everything was smooth and so much fun!
