About this house rental

Imagine spending a long weekend or a week in this charming 3-bedroom, 2-bath beach house with upstairs ocean view. It’s a 2 minute walk down a private path to the beach. The kitchen is fully outfitted for great cooking and dining, the living room features a gas fireplace for those cool days and nights and a 55-inch TV where you can sink into recliners and binge watch your favorites.

The bedrooms are huge and all 3 have very comfortable queen-sized beds. Plus, we have a comfortable queen size inflatable bed, if needed. We have provided a Pack 'n Play and an infant/child dining booster seat for families with young ones to make your packing that much easier.

"Work from home" in the upstairs work area with high speed wireless, dual monitors and a printer. The upstairs has an overstuffed chair and ottoman for a private reading space with an ocean view.

The large front deck is home to a 6’ pelican and fisherman carved by a local woodcarver, a gas BBQ and is perfect for sipping your morning coffee and eating BBQ for dinner. The back yard is completely fenced and secure for your bowwows!

Imagine being minutes from clamming, surfing, 18 miles of beaches perfect for walking and kite flying, surf fishing, bird watching, locally crafted beer and the best wood-fired pizza in all of Grays Harbor! Experience deep sea fishing for salmon and tuna on a charter boat out of Westport and watch the lights of the crab boats as they leave the docks at nightfall.

We enjoyed four nights at your lovely home. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the short walk to the beach was great! This home would be perfect for 2 to 3 couples or families. The fenced back yard was great for our 2 little dogs. We would definitely recommend this home. Communication with the owners was perfect and I loved the fact we could choose a code for entry that we could remember! Thanks again, Debbie and Terry

This 77 yr old Mom enjoyed 3 nights at this comfortable cabin with 2 of my daughters and my 15 mo. Old grandson. Cabin was very clean and stocked with extas. Weather was rainy but we all needed a restful weekend and the weather caused us to stay inside and relaxweweather

My family and I stayed here for my husbands birthday week, and we had a delightful time. The house was very clean and well appointed with everything we needed, and it had not one but two lovely outdoor hang out areas! The path to the beach is a bit long so keep that in mind, but otherwise the location was amazing. We ended up just driving our truck right onto the beach and parking wherever we wanted (also super cool!). The property rules were fair and understandable, and communications with the host were very easy. The dogs had a great time too! We would love to stay again!

We were looking for a vacation rental near the State Park where our family reunion was taking place. Not only did Pelican House provide a perfect location, but it was spotless, incredibly comfortable and equipped with everything we could possibly need for our week-long stay. The ability to reserve it for next year’s family reunion capped off a perfect week. Many thanks to our hosts for this perfect hide-away.

Nice location with a private path to the beach, although we often drove as there is access right next door and its easier hauling kid stuff that way. Super big sandy beach too! The house was clean and very well stocked. Lots of towels and extras, so we weren't missing a thing. Definitely would recommend this place for an ocean getaway.

Our family of five, plus our dog, had a fantastic week at the Pelican House. The owners quickly answered questions and the house and Eve thing to make it feel like home. The short walk to the beach meant we spent our days exploring the shore.

We enjoyed our stay in every way! The home is very comfortable and clean and setup extremely well. Love all the things the kitchen has to offer - you can actually cook! The linens and towels are all fresh and in good shape, and everything around the house really works. And the location can't be beat! This was our second stay, and we look forward to the next!

Frank is a fantastic host and very communicative. He truly wants you to have an enjoyable experience at the ocean. Their place is very well appointed and ready for your adventures. My family of four, and our golden retriever, stayed here for a weekend. It was perfect! Each bedroom was large and comfortable. Kitchen has everything we needed. There's a walking path to the beach, about a 10 minute walk. The beach has small sand dunes and a wide sandy area. Cars do drive on this beach, so be aware of that. There is also a small but well-equipped grocery store a short drive away in case you forgot anything.

House is exactly as stated. 2 bedrooms upstairs are oversized and worked well for adding either the blowup or pack n play. Deck off upstairs bedroom is great for sunset watching. Can see the beach from this deck. Entire house is light & bright & spotless. 6 adults, 3 littles (3, 18 mo, 2 mo.) + the pups had a great time. Beach path is right at the corner. Don’t miss the roped entrance. Great house & location. Would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed this spot for a summer, family get-together. It was clean, bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, kitchen had everything we needed for family meals, and our dogs could be there with us. Loved that the beach was within walking distance and boat lauch was a short drive away. Host was very easy to get ahold of and check in was a breeze. Would definitely recommend.

Great location for getting to the beach. Loved the fenced yard for kids and pet. Kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, etc. Enough bedrooms for kids to have their own space. Laundry on the 2nd floor was a win! Comfortable for relaxing on rainy/cloudy days.

We had our sibling reunion at this home which was a short walk from beach. The 3 bedrooms were large and beds were comfortable with a sunset view from master bedroom. Kitchen well equipped and bathrooms updated & stocked with lots of towels. Washer/dryer and gas fireplace were a nice plus. The four of us loved this home!

My in-laws were visiting from the mid-west and wanted to go to the ocean. This was a perfect getaway for all of us. Quick access to the beach, scenic drives down the coast, watching crabbers in Tokeland, and a leisurely afternoon on the pier at Westport. Plus, as other reviewers have noted, the fully fenced yard was great for our dog. The neighborhood was quiet and check-in and -out were incredibly easy. As someone who likes to cook, the kitchen was well-equipped (and I'm a sucker for a waffle iron on vacation).

This home was so clean and very well stocked, it really did feel like home away from home! All three mattresses were very comfortable, which is usually my first concern when leaving home. The home is just a block away from the beach access road where you can drive down the beach which was very convenient. There were plenty of games to keeps us occupied once it got dark outside and beach play time had to come to an end. The neighborhood was also very quiet and the neighbors were friendly. We loved the fully fenced back yard for our dogs and kids. The host made communication and entry so easy. We will definitely be coming back!

Thanks for allowing dogs and having a secure fenced backyard. Our pups loved zooming around out back, and relaxing with us inside. Close to the beach and State Park, where we connected with camping relatives. Cozy and clean with comfortable furnishings and great kitchen. We enjoyed our stay so much! Would definitely return.

This house was nicely furnished with everything that you need for a fun relaxing get away. The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of dishes and pots and pans for cooking. The beds were very comfortable. Nice space for 5 adult women. We came for the Pirate festival and really enjoyed our down time at the home. Nice outside table to enjoy the sunshine and you can walk through a trail to the beach. Which I did many times and enjoyed the exercise. The owner answered my questions in a timely manor. I would recommend this property and hope to come again.

We had a lovely time during our stay at this great house. It was in a perfect location, so close to the beach. It was extremely comfortable, and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could have wanted. And we actually cooked in the kitchen and also used the well-setup grill. the beds were comfortable with quality linens. The internet and TV all worked very well. The home was nicely cleaned before we arrived. The fenced in yard is a wonderful convenience. Great parking. The owners had fantastic communication with us. I really can't say enough good things about this place. One of our best-ever stays at the ocean.

First time at this property for me! My friends have come here before me and this is the first year I’ve come on this beach trip. We love this place especially since it is so close to both the beach and the place we keep our horses. Bedrooms were awesome - I normally don’t sleep well in new places but did not have that problem here. Comfortable living area made for great tv watching nights and the cute kitchen was great to use for all our meals. 10/10 would stay here again next year! -Rachel
