Sunflower Cottage is located on a quiet side street in Bar Harbor close to Acadia National Park (Cadillac Mountain entrance), Kebo Valley Golf Course as well as all downtown Bar Harbor restaurants/shops within 1 mile. A short walking away is Parsons Lobsters, one of the best fresh seafood providers on the island, selling lobsters and other seafood caught by local fishermen from the shores of Acadia.

Recently remodeled with careful attention to detail, this beautiful Colonial home will welcome you and offer a place to relax and unwind while you enjoy all the beauty of Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor areas. Spacious parking area allows for 3 cars to park on-premises in front of the covered front entry porch.

The main level of the house offers an entry hall leading to an open kitchen/dining area with a slider leading out to nice sized deck with mountain and seasonal views of Kebo Valley Golf Course. A fully stocked kitchen makes it easy for you to prepare a meal and the large dining room is great for entertaining and sharing special moments. The living room and the family room areas provide 55" smart TV, books and games for relaxation after a day of adventure in the park. Dedicated office space with a desk and high-speed wireless internet is provided if you need to take work with you. The upper floor offers 1 large King master bedroom suite with walk-in closet across and a large double-vanity bathroom with shower, along with 3 additional bedrooms (Queen, Full, and Twin beds) and another double-vanity full bathroom.

You will also have access to washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, lobster pot, Wi-Fi internet, and Spectrum/Samsung TV channels. Owner’s basement and garage (separated by locked door) are the only areas off limits. We want you to be comfortable and fully enjoy your stay and love Bar Harbor as much as we do. The property manager is nearby and happy to assist with making your time here delightful.

Sunflower Cottage is available for rent with a 4-night minimum reservation. A $300 cleaning charge per stay will apply to all reservation. Our home is a non-smoking and “shoes off” rental.

We had a great stay but too short of a trip. But overall, had a great stay. Lots of room for my wife and 3 kids. We could walk in to town and get food, ice cream, etc. Communication was easy with fast responses from the host.

Great place. Very clean and convenient to park and town. The only problem for our group was having just one girl grandchild who was 18. She needed her own space and w 3 16-20 yr boy cousins it was difficult w sleeping arrangement for her. It meant buying a blow up mattress and finding a special space all her own. But we worked it out to her satisfaction.

Amazing visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Super comfy for 7 total. 5 Adults, 1 teenager and 1 child. Walking distance to town and short drive into Acadia National Park. Very clean, and well maintained. Lots of room to spread out. Host was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Our family of eight visited Bar Harbor for a long memorial day celebration. The home is well appointed with all of the amenities needed for a great vacation. Plenty of room to spread out and kitchen was well stocked. The location couldn’t be any better whether it be getting to town, Acadia, or all other points of interest. Neighborhood was very quiet plenty of parking in the front of the home for four cars. Host was very responsive to all questions and any issues that we had with the home. Would definitely stay at this home again, if in the area.

There were 6 of us staying and it was a very clean and comfortable vacation home! We drove to Acadia everyday for hikes. It is conveniently located and close to the park and restaurants in Bar Harbor. It was a 20-30 min walk to downtown, so we drove some and walked some. We had fun at the Reels pizza place where you could watch a movie while eating pizza. It was a great vacation and the house had plenty of comfy beds, showers and space.

The property looks like it’s been recently updated. It’s also clean and has all the amenities. Check-in was easy. The location was great. We appreciated the umbrellas, washer/dryer, and extra blankets! (JFYI the bathtub was out of order). The only con is that there were A LOT of check out instructions and pre-cleaning to do (10 bullet points worth).

Wonderful property and perfect location. Chih-Hao, owner, was a delight to interact with! The location is very walkable to Bar Harbor, less then a kilometer from downtown. It’s close to the grocery store for supplies too. Acadia Nat’l Park is a 15 min drive away and we strongly suggest you watch a sun rise there. The property is exceptional and clean. Make sure to bring you slippers. It quiet too, we all slept like babies! The treats and water were a wonderful surprise, thank you Chih-Hao! The Martland’s had a great time!,!

We were looking for a place for a final summer vacation before school starts and this place did not disappoint! Jane was very communicative and prompt, the house is very clean and more than enough space for 4 adults and 2 children. The kitchen is fully stocked including a lobster pot that we used. Parsons Lobster is about a 5min walk away. And the cute town of Bar Harbor is also in walking distance. This is the closes we have stayed to town and this house was exactly as described and reviewed by everyone else before us. I'm still dreaming of my vacation.

Beautiful and well appointed house in a good neighborhood and very convenient to both the Bar Harbor town center and Acadia National Park. The house interior is roomy, modern and comfortable. There is a small patio with a barbecue which we didn’t use much; some plantings in the yard can add to the overall attractiveness of the property. This was a minor detraction for us, though, since we spent our days outdoors in the national park, boat tours and beyond and used the house interior, including the well appointed kitchen when we were home. And yes, we felt like we were home. Thanks, Jane!

We loved our stay at Bar Harbor! We were close to hiking, shops, and restaurants. The house was clean, comfortable and well-stocked. Even with bad weather (it was cold and rainy all week), we were able to do almost everything we planned. Location and a good washer/dryer were definite pluses this week!!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jane’s lovely cottage in Bar Harbor. The stay exceeded our expectations in every way. Jane is such an amazing host who was responsive and so kind and understanding. The home was immaculate, very comfortable and well equipped. The location is perfect too - 5 mins to the town of Bar Harbor, less than 10 mins to Acadia NP and 2 mins from Parsons lobster pound. We will stay here again next time we visit Bar Harbor!

We 4 siblings w/spouses spent 4 nights here in this spacious home w/ a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms, parking for 4 vehicles, and nice amenities including a propane grill and washer/dryer. Owner has very accurately described property which is fully up to date with modern appliances in kitchen and laundry room. Very clean. Great place for extended family get together. Close enough to tourist area of town and carriage trails in Acadia to walk or ride bikes from cottage, but on a quiet street. Would definitely stay again.

Clean and spacious. My only complaints are1) i was notified a day before check-in that the hot tub in the master BR isnt working, it should be declared in their website as it looked like it hasnt been used for a while. 2) the master shower stall , yes its a stall is so small ( approx 4 ft x 4ft) and dark. 3) the stool in master BR need to be updated; it moves upon getting up after using it. Steep stairs to the 4 bedrooms on 2nd floor. Otherwise over all the location is perfect , 15 to 20 mins walk to town.

This house was great for two families (4 adults and 3 children). The house was immaculate when we arrived and the layout was perfect. The decor created a very comfortable atmosphere and the house was stocked with all of the essentials. It is so conveniently located to Acadia as well as downtown Bar Harbor. Jane was an excellent host, so easy to communicate with and very responsive to any questions we had.
