Everything about our stay was just amazing, the house, the view, the neighborhood. The house was very clean and spacious, and the view was gorgeous. You have a view of the water from every bedroom in the house. Lastly it's a very quiet neighborhood, no loud or obnoxious things, just a quiet and relaxing area all together. We're definitely coming back to this house next year!

First, we LOVED the house. We stay in Copano Bay area when we visit Rockport & this was probably our favorite house that we have stayed at. Perfect for family & kids. We did have a few issues with our stay though. The front door used a combination code lock that did not work upon our arrival, we were given another code that worked on day one, by day 2 it did not work again. So, we spent time speaking with property managers while outside attempting to get into the house more than once before we were finally given an actual key to the house. The mosquitos were absolutely horrible, the worst I've ever seen. That being said, we know that the mosquito population is out of the owner's control but things could have been done to help to manage. The grass could be cut & lawn managed more frequently during rainy seasons. There were bushes/vines on the house in the front and back that could have been cut back to help reduce the mosquitos. We bought several mosquito repellants and candles, etc & nothing helped. We rented this house specifically for the decks out back & the pier & we were unable to enjoy the outside living area at all due to the bugs. By the time we left, my husband had over 50 bites on each limb. We had a couple bug issues inside the house as well that were acknowledged, but could not be addressed as it was a weekend. I would also state that the downstairs bed needs some adjusting, the supports under the bed are not stable at all. Overall we enjoyed the house itself.

This home is in a fantastic location! It had everything we needed and more! Not to mention the water view from your bed or the outdoor deck! 10 out of 10!

If you don’t care about cleanliness and like to sleep on dirty used sheets, this is the place for you! Upon entering we were kindly greeted by half a dozen flies, stains on the floor in the kitchen and mold in the dishwasher. The dishwasher filter hadn’t been cleaned EVER and the dishes and utensils that were in the drawers were dirty. The best part about our stay would be on our third night when we moved the comforter back, we found dark colored hair on the sheets, my family has all light colored hair. When I tried to address cleanliness with the property management I was told that a case was opened but I have yet to hear back.
The pictures are fairly accurate minus the backyard/water picture that shows a platform leading to the water, the platform is no longer there.. Best thing was the fishing we caught quite a bit over our stay. Deck is in major need of repair with a lot of unsecured planks, the latch to the gate going to the pier is completely rusted and broken, thankfully we have no super small children so we left it open the entire time.
It was a truly disgusting and disappointing experience based on the lack of cleanliness for the amount of money and planning that we did ahead of time. This was supposed to be a great family and birthday trip and I spent the majority of the time cleaning.

We loved this house and how it's mere steps from the water. We sat at the end of the duck and watched fireworks from multiple cities/towns. It was the best way to watch. No crowds, no parking issues, no dumb drivers! We will definitely come back!

Spacious and comfortable. Everything you need to cook in the kitchen but make sure you bring some salt and pepper and foil. Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels unless you like using the cheapest brand which is provided. Nice fishing pier. No tv in the master bedroom which was fine for us but others may prefer this. Quiet neighborhood. Very nice homes. Close to the beach and shops. Nothing that would keep us from not coming back again. It does get warm upstairs and ac seems to have trouble keeping up. There is a fan upstairs but we also brought our own which helped.

Everything great except for WiFi. Instructions on email were not correct about WiFi. I spent first 90 minutes of my trip on the phone and app trying to get someone to help me with WiFi. The network name was not what the email said it would be. It really grinded my gears. But After I figured out WiFi the rest of stay was perfect. Update you WiFi instructions please.

The house was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck. We did not have any luck fishing.

The property is right on the water, so we were able to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday with fishing and kayaking. We watched a glorious first moon rise as we caught fish, laughed, and relaxed. The accommodations were fabulous and it has all the necessities for your stay. I highly recommend PELICAN LIFE for a great on-the-water stay :)

The rental was exactly as portrayed on the web page. The exterior and interior were comfortable and clean. The only disappointment was there were no fish to be caught, but we donated plenty of bait to the crabs.

The home was lovely especially if it was warm and sunny. It was comfortable to stay in. It had a nice kitchen with most things one would need. Nice to be able to go out and sit on dock and nice that the yard is fenced so toddlers cannot wander down to the water unless parents open the gate and go with them.

House was in a great location with a great backyard patio, fishing dock and the views! Pros and Cons...
Pros: Location, Price, Clean and updated. They even have extra dish soap, and trash bags...you would be surprised how many give you only 1 bag. Doc was cool for fishing and kitchen had enough utiles. Also compared to other PRICE is good.
Cons: Upstairs is HOT. Master bedroom fan has only 1 speed, slow... Room is super hot and uncomfortable unless you lower to 68 and keep doors open. Limited comfortable seating space on the couch. Out side has small grill only would have prefered a gas grill but it works. Layout is strange but spacious.
Overall a good deal except for the HOT bedroom

From the comfortable beds to the well-equipped kitchen, Pelican Life is a home away from home. On the back patio, you have plenty of chairs, small tables, and a large one where we enjoyed coffee in the morning and whiskey in the evening. I always bring Mexican blankets with us, and the one day we had sun, I spent an afternoon napping and reading on the back lawn. (It was too windy to fish.) Even the grass was wonderful! You'll have ample bath and beach towels. We only used one bedroom, and there was a large closet with lots of good quality hangers as well as a dresser. There's a spacious laundry room, and enough detergent pods for several washes. The weather didn't cooperate with fishing, but we'll be back again for another try. The private pier is a win! We spent more time indoors than anticipated, but the reclining sofa was wonderful. The neighborhood was quiet and close enough to town for trips to HEB and Tackle Town. It was clean, and the decor was lovely, especially the local photography. It might be the nicest rental we've ever had.

We had a great stay. We look for a home that really feels like home and this is a lovely home. Very clean and comfy. Fabulous local artists displayed in many walls. Great beds. Large tv which made good use of in the cooler weather. Unfortunately we couldn’t kayak due to the weather but we’ll be back for a warmer week next year.

This rental was very clean and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with all your cooking needs. TVs are provided in every room. The back yard was the best part with covered patios and deck. The fishing pier was a plus too. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the fishing pier most of all, the fact that is private and quiet. The place was clean had everything we needed and I have to say for once I did not regret leaving my bed, it was most comfortable and the linen was clean and crisp. Definitely will rent again,

This home is beautiful. It is clean, comfortable, and in a great/quiet area. The views are amazing. Take your coffee/meals and head out back. Great sunrise/sunset views. Dolphins, fish, and local birds can all be seen from the back porch. Just a short drive to great food, fishing and shopping. We will definitely be back.

A lovely little house on the lake front. The beds were very comfortable and beautifully dressed in white linens. It is in a quiet little neighborhood and was the perfect place for our little family to spend a couple of days to quietly celebrate our son’s birthday. The dock/pier was the perfect addition to our short stay. We spent the windy evenings out on the pier fishing or watching the various fish peeking up at us from the water. Overall, a great stay for a short getaway.

Location was perfect and the view was amazing. We wouldn’t stay here again because of the cleanliness & crickets. If I’m paying that much for a cleaning fee, I expect to come into a clean home. The ceiling fans, blinds, lamps were all caked with dust. You could see the cobwebs hanging around the lights. The cup holders in the loveseat were gross, I cleaned them with a Clorox wipe and it was brown. The silverware holder in the drawer was disgusting. Don’t drop anything under the couches & tables or you’ll see A LOT of crumbs, items & dirt. That could be a reason for the dead roach in the corner by the desk or the ants in the kitchen. Not to mention the crickets that chirp ALL NIGHT. They’re inside the house, they couldn’t be heard outside at all. I killed several and even have a video of how loud they were. We’ve been coming to Rockport for years and always stay in a VRBO, but this is the first time I’ve walked into a dirty house. It was very disappointing. We did have a good time on our vacation, but the price was too high for what we received.

The house was very clean and comfortable. Our family of 5 had plenty of space to spread out. We spent a lot of time fishing in the evenings off the dock and caught over 100 fish. We caught at least 7 different varieties and enjoyed identifying the different types.

We loved everything about this house. We will definitely be back to this location. Relaxing, fishing and shopping were all good but, the restaurants were even better.

Outstanding waterfront view! This is what you come to the coast for!

The first floor bedroom was not nearly as nice as the rooms upstairs. The mattress was terrible, the bedding was rough, and the room smelled like urine. We slept on the couches in the living room after the first night. I dropped an earring and moved the table to retrieve it and there was dust and trash behind it. The first room bathroom and kitchen has ants. We slashed water on the kitchen floor and used a paper towel to wipe it up. The paper towel was black from dirt.
Disappointed especially given the cost and all the fees.

Great location and very relaxing! Easy checking in and out, clean, and well equipped.
